At first glance, it was quite astonishing. If it weren't for Quan tightly watching Yao Guang, Yao Guang might have really fallen straight down from the clouds. 0

Unexpectedly, the scene below was like this. Yao Guang had always known that the Dragon Clan possessed formidable magical powers, and their presence was certainly grand when they made an appearance. However, the sight before him still exceeded his expectations. 0

He saw golden waves rolling below, and at first glance, Yao Guang thought that the ground had undergone another transformation like the Azure Sea. Upon closer inspection, he realized that those waves were actually the flags of the Dragon Clan. The greatest flaw of the Dragon Clan was their love for gold and jewels; even their flags were made to look golden. These flags fluttered in the wind, so numerous that they resembled waves in water, stirring up countless golden ripples. 0

Beneath these flags stood countless members of the Dragon Clan and Aquatic Race warriors, each clad in shining armor, with spears and swords held high. Looking at those well-trained troops, their imposing presence truly lived up to being the subordinates of the Dragon Clan. 0

Next to these Aquatic Race warriors were four golden dragons providing escort. Their bodies were strong and powerful, their smooth scales shimmering under the sunlight. The raised spines on their backs resembled hardened weapons. Yao Guang had no doubt that a dragon like this could charge into the clouds, and how many of those immortals who indulged in drunken revelry every day could withstand such an assault? 0

The dragon's might was palpable, instantly infecting the nearby Aquatic Race warriors. They beat their War Drums and raised their weapons in a rallying cry; for a moment, even those far away in the court could feel the surge of murderous intent. 0

Yao Guang looked at these elite soldiers below and couldn't help but sigh. The preparations of the Dragon Clan were indeed exceptionally thorough. It was evident that these Aquatic Race soldiers were a well-trained force. Moreover, there were still members of the Dragon Clan who had yet to make their move. Although the Dragon Clan was few in number, it wasn't just these four dragons that could be seen; judging by their size, it seemed that even the Four Seas Dragon King had not yet emerged—these were merely newly matured dragons. 0

Snapping back from the killing intent emanating from below, Yao Guang grabbed Quan's sleeve and said, "Why haven't we rushed to report to the Jade Emperor? What gathering is there to hold at this time?" 0

As soon as he finished speaking, Yao Guang noticed that several other Star Lords had grim expressions. Even Jumen, who usually showed little emotion, seemed somewhat displeased. 0

Kaiyang interjected angrily, "We just saw what was happening here! We need to hurry and inform the Jade Emperor! After that... after that..." At this point, Kaiyang clenched his fists tightly; it was clear he was struggling to control his anger. His chest rose and fell rapidly as he finally managed to steady himself before continuing through gritted teeth, "The Jade Emperor drove us out in front of all the immortals." What a foolish ruler! The Dragon Clan had already made thorough preparations; they were just waiting to charge in and catch everyone off guard. Yet here was the Jade Emperor still drinking with those gods, completely ignoring the impending war. By the time the Dragon Clan attacked, he would be relying on a group of intoxicated immortals who would likely not even realize what hit them before they were slaughtered. 0

Yao Guang could hardly believe his ears. How could the Jade Emperor have become like this? He had previously taken the battle against the Dragon Clan seriously; now he seemed indifferent. 0

Listening to Kaiyang's words, Xue wondered what exactly was going through the Jade Emperor's mind. Did he truly intend to destroy this court or was he simply overconfident? Xue felt that something unusual was happening here; this sudden change in behavior from the Jade Emperor showed no trace of his former ambition. Although he had indeed gained his current position through dubious means, one could not deny that over the years, if it weren't for his rule, there would not have been such peace among gods and demons alike. Even if there were hidden agendas among them, on the surface they still maintained a semblance of harmony. But now, what was this man thinking? 0

"The Jade Emperor... how could he... how could he..." To drive out his own brothers in front of all those immortals was such a great humiliation! Yao Guang couldn't believe it. Although his own status in court was low and he often faced bullying from other immortals, his brothers had earned some respect from the Jade Emperor due to their abilities—though not all displayed their full potential, they still managed to impress him. Beidou Yangming Tanlang Star Lord managed authority; Big Dipper Jumen Star Lord oversaw good and evil among mortals; North Dipper True Man Lu Cun Star Lord managed wealth; Northern Dipper Xuanming Wenchu Star Lord governed wisdom; Northern Dipper Dan Yuan Lian Zheng Star Lord upheld integrity; Northern Dipper Polar Martial Star Lord commanded martial prowess. Each of these matters was closely related to Yao Guang's existence. Except for Yao Guang himself—who was seen as a harbinger of doom with destructive intentions—his own dangerous nature often led to disdain from others in court. Yet now it seemed even the Jade Emperor had begun to despise them. 0

"The Jade Emperor has been bewitched by those people; he's lost his senses." 0

"Kaiyang! Shut up!" Shu shouted loudly at Kaiyang. With such reckless words spoken right at South Gate where many ears were present, someone might overhear them. If such talk reached the Jade Emperor's ears, it would only deepen his disdain for them further. Moreover, such words were outright treasonous. 0

"Of course," Kaiyang mumbled, shrinking his head in fear. This action only drew more ire from Shu, who snapped at him, "Are you trying to get us killed by not shutting up?" 0

"Alright, alright, I won't say anything," Kaiyang replied helplessly. Even the fiery Mars Star Lord had to relent and plead for mercy when faced with Shu, known as Greedy Wolf. After all, the title was not just for show; it was forged from the blood of countless demons. 0

"Big Brother, what exactly is going on?" Although Kaiyang had heard part of it, Yao Guang still couldn't grasp what had happened. She had to ask Shu again to clarify everything. 0

Shu recalled all the events that transpired. After Xue took Yao Guang away, they were filled with anxiety. However, due to prior warnings and their ignorance of where Xue had taken Yao Guang, they took turns standing at the South Gate each day, searching for any sign of Yao Guang and Xue. Days passed without a single clue. Until one day, Wenqu inadvertently noticed something strange in the lower realm. However, Wenqu's low magical power prevented him from discerning much after observing for a long time. So he called Wuqu Qian to come and take a look together. Upon arrival, Wuqu sensed an unusual killing intent. Quietly, he descended to investigate further. 0

This accidental discovery led Wuqu to see that the Dragon Clan had gathered in full force, busily crafting weapons in preparation for an assault on the court. 0

"Why is it that such a large movement goes unnoticed within the court?" Although the deities had not been diligent in their training over the years, surely they wouldn't be oblivious to such a significant commotion. Yao Guang asked in confusion. 0

"That's because they simply can't detect it," Shu explained. 0

It turned out that the Dragon Clan had been relegated to the Four Seas by the Emperor. The sea was both a place of humiliation for them and their natural shield; using the deep waters, they evaded the eyes of these deities and secretly gathered through rivers and lakes until Wenqu noticed something amiss. By then, the robust Aquatic Race from the other three seas had already congregated in the East Sea—the richest and most expansive area of the Four Seas—where they worked day and night to forge weapons right under the noses of the court without being discovered. 0

Thanks to Wenqu's meticulous nature, he didn't overlook any potential locations in the lower realm where Yao Guang and Xue might be found, which ultimately led to their discovery by Wuqu. 0

After learning this information, Shu and the others discussed that they should promptly report this matter to the Jade Emperor so that preparations could be made in advance. However, when they anxiously stepped into Lingxiao Palace, they found the Jade Emperor hosting a banquet for other deities. 0

"My ministers have arrived! Come, drink with me," said the Jade Emperor as he raised his wine cup upon seeing the Star Lords. 0

"Jade Emperor," they all knelt in unison. 0

"Oh? What is it?" His nonchalant tone stirred dissatisfaction among the other five. 0

Shu knelt on the ground and clasped his fists together. "Jade Emperor, the Dragon Clan in the lower realm has begun gathering forces and is preparing for rebellion." 0

To their surprise, instead of showing concern upon hearing this news, the Jade Emperor merely asked them with curiosity, "How did you all come to know of this?" 0

At that moment, it was difficult to grasp the meaning of the Jade Emperor, so Shu could only rely on his actions. 0

Unexpectedly, after hearing Shu's words, the Jade Emperor's previously smiling face suddenly turned terrifying. 0

With a crash, the wine cup that had been in the Jade Emperor's hand was hurled straight at Shu's legs. The shards of the broken cup cut into Shu's cheek, drawing a trickle of blood. Yet, Shu seemed unfazed, remaining kneeling straight before the Jade Emperor. 0

"Forgive me, Your Majesty." The once jovial immortals, upon seeing the Jade Emperor's anger, hastily knelt down, pleading for his mercy. 0

"Greedy Wolf Star Lord, have I been too lenient with you all, allowing you to become so bold?" A commanding voice resonated from in front of Shu. 0

When anger erupts, blood flows. Moreover, this was the only Emperor in heaven and earth; his pressure bore down on Shu like a mountain. 0

"I dare not, Your Majesty," Shu replied under the immense pressure. 0

"Is that so? I find it hard to believe that you have anything to fear." The Emperor seemed oblivious to the pressure he had just unleashed, as the Star Lords closest to him were already drenched in sweat. 0

"I beg for your forgiveness," Shu bowed deeply, seeking pardon from the Emperor. 0

"Then tell me, what sin do you have that warrants my forgiveness?" In his fury, the Jade Emperor even refrained from referring to himself as "I." 0

"I... I..." Shu gritted his teeth before continuing, "I do not know." 0

At that very moment he spoke, the already immense pressure surged exponentially, spreading throughout every corner of the palace. The celestial beings on duty could no longer maintain their composure under such weight and began to sway unsteadily. 0

Though Shu remained kneeling straight, the pressure he felt had not lessened; rather, it intensified. The smooth floor beneath him began to crack from where his knees pressed down. 0

"Your Majesty, please calm your anger! Your Majesty, please!" The immortals could no longer bear such pressure and repeatedly begged for mercy. 0

"What ignorance! It seems I have indeed been too lenient with you all." Observing the distressed immortals below him, the Jade Emperor smiled lightly. With his laughter came a release of pressure that vanished from those around him. They all breathed a sigh of relief; indeed, his might was truly terrifying. 0

Shu felt as if his legs were about to give out, but in this situation, he dared not move an inch. He knew that the Jade Emperor's anger had not yet fully erupted. 0

Sure enough, the Jade Emperor continued, "I see that you, the Big Dipper Seventh Star, are far too leisurely in this court. Since you care so much about the safety of the lower realms, why don’t you all go guard the South Gate together?" 0

With those few words, the Jade Emperor had sealed Shu and his companions' punishment. 0

What? To send the Big Dipper Seventh Star to guard the South Gate? This was a tremendous humiliation for the Big Dipper. Shu's body tensed up instantly; he could hardly believe that the Jade Emperor would impose such a punishment on them. 0

Seeing that none of them moved, the Jade Emperor glanced over with an unreadable expression in his eyes. "What? Are you dissatisfied with my decision, my loyal subjects?" 0

"I dare not," Shu replied hastily. "I accept your command." He struggled to move his already painful and numb legs, striving to hide his discomfort. No matter how fallen they were, the Big Dipper would not allow themselves to be looked down upon by these deities. 0

"I accept your command," came a chorus of voices. Along with Shu's movement, the other five Star Lords stood up as well. Even though they had all felt varying degrees of pressure from the Jade Emperor moments ago, they were not weak enough to bow down in such a manner. 0

With determined steps, the six of them walked out resolutely, leaving behind only their upright and steadfast figures for the Jade Emperor to see. 0

The Jade Emperor watched these six without blinking; it was rare to find such hard-headed individuals—impressive indeed. 0

After hearing Shu's words, Yao Guang finally understood why his brothers had looked so grim when he saw them standing at the South Gate earlier. 0

The Jade Emperor had humiliated the Big Dipper Seventh Star so thoroughly that a surge of anger rose within Yao Guang. (To be continued.) 0
