As the number of Energy Crystals within Lin Yi increased, controlling them became increasingly troublesome. "Steve is afraid we might run away, so he must have empowered those spears. This is his world; he is the god here!"
Zhao Pei remained surprisingly calm at this moment, maintaining his speed as he continued to dash toward the edge.

Lin Yi spat in frustration, yet his movements did not falter. The speed of those spears was simply too fast; they were almost upon him in the blink of an eye.

A series of explosive sounds erupted as a layer of Yellowish mist rose around them. The beams from Lin Yi successfully blocked the oncoming spears.
"Up ahead!"
At that moment, Zhao Pei shouted, merely warning Lin Yi to pay attention. Suddenly, thick black mist began to swirl around his hands.
In the next instant, this black mist coalesced into a massive satin-like form. Zhao Pei's arms swelled dramatically as he frantically waved the black satin in his hands.
"Whoosh—"
The black silk that obscured the sun swept up the spears, and with a powerful shake from Zhao Pei, the spears that had been shot at them exploded in a thunderous blast. However, the black silk soon transformed into wisps of black mist that dispersed into the air.
"Go!"
In that brief moment, the two had already reached the edge of this world, and they continued to desperately channel the energy within them, racing toward their destination.
Having lost their advantage, the humanoid monsters were unable to catch up after Lin Yi and his companion broke through their spear formation twice. This time, they could not pursue any longer.
With no obstacles in their way, the two quickly reached the edge. Without a moment's hesitation, Lin Yi fused all his elemental energies together.
A massive energy sphere formed instantly. Lin Yi pushed it forcefully with both hands, sending it floating toward the edge. He then placed his hand on Zhao Pei's shoulder and pulled him back, retreating dozens of kilometers in an instant.
In the next moment, it was as if a gigantic mushroom cloud had risen; that colorful energy sphere exploded right at the edge!
The surrounding space trembled violently as if experiencing a catastrophic earthquake. The entire area shook, causing even the nearby humanoid monsters rushing over to stumble and fall.
Lin Yi's eyes glimmered with joy as psychic power surged forth like a tidal wave. But in an instant, his smiling face stiffened; he realized that the invisible barrier still existed. However, beneath it, a bottomless pit had appeared in the sandy ground.
"How could this be..." Lin Yi said in disbelief. Back when he only had Nine-Star Combat Power, he was able to create a breach in Dracula's Dark Space through the fusion of several energies. Yet now, having grown so much stronger and mastering even more elemental powers, he could not break through this space.
"Not bad; you actually managed to injure me. But let’s end this game here!"
A furious roar echoed throughout the space; it was Steve's voice, who had remained hidden until now. In the next moment, Lin Yi saw countless yellowish humanoid behemoths rapidly converging toward one point.
In just a moment, the Humanoid Behemoth coalesced into a figure over three meters tall, a "Steve," though this "Steve" still retained a yellowish hue.
Lin Yi felt the aura emanating from it, and his heart sank to the depths. They had already expended too much energy, yet their opponent remained so powerful.
"Lin Yi, get out of the way!"
Zhao Pei, who had been standing aside, suddenly showed a resolute expression and pushed Lin Yi aside. Lin Yi sensed something was wrong and was about to reach out to grab Zhao Pei when Zhao Pei's figure vanished.

In the dim light, Lin Yi seemed to see the enormous "Steve" dissipate, and in the next moment, he felt the oppressive force around him vanish. He reconnected with the external space.
The vast white light shone like the brightest sun, continuously radiating its warmth. It took a long time for that white light to finally fade away.
When Lin Yi opened his eyes again, he discovered a massive opening below him, resembling a crater formed by a colossal meteorite impact. However, Lin Yi could not see the meteorite; the opening was created by the energy that overflowed from Zhao Pei after his self-detonation within Steve's space. The sheer force of that released energy had carved out such a large hole, highlighting just how immense Zhao Pei's explosive power had been.
In the aftermath of the explosion, wisps of white mist rose into the air. It was only then that Lin Yi realized he was above a mountain range. Looking around, he deduced that this must be the Albis Mountain Range, though it had completely transformed.
They had entered Steve's space while still at Paris Fortress, but now they found themselves at the peak of this majestic mountain range!
The ancient Ice Layer began to melt, flowing down toward the valley below. This sudden change in terrain would have significant implications for human society. Without hesitation, Lin Yi released enough ice crystals to refreeze the melting snowwater.
Breathing in the crisp air, Lin Yi felt increasingly distressed. After finally reuniting with Zhao Pei, he had lost him in mere moments—self-destructing to save him. The sense of loss overwhelmed Lin Yi; it felt as if his heart had been hollowed out.
Guilt, sorrow, regret, and anger intertwined within him, leaving no room for any joy of rebirth.
