"Crack—"
A crisp sound rang in Lin Yi's ears, and the blade formed from ice crystals in his hand instantly became covered with intricate patterns before it fell to the sandy ground.
Lin Yi was slightly startled, but his movements did not pause for a moment! In the next instant, a flash of white light surged from his hand, and a sharp blade made of ice crystals reformed!
This was not the end. Just as the white light had barely gathered at the tip of the blade, a metallic gleam flashed again, and the nearly transparent blade was suddenly covered with a layer of brass-colored metal!
At that moment, Lin Yi twisted his waist, spinning like a top at high speed.
"Slash—"
Using the force of his spin, Lin Yi's tightly gripped blade sliced through the air like a streak of light, striking with overwhelming momentum toward the neck of the Humanoid Monster.
"Zing—"
A sound of metal scraping against gravel echoed as Lin Yi felt an absence of resistance in his hand; he had already appeared behind the Humanoid Monster.
In the next moment, there was a muffled thud as the massive head of the Humanoid Monster slid off its neck and rolled away for quite a distance.
Lin Yi turned around and looked toward Zhao Pei, who was releasing a surge of black energy that tightly bound the Humanoid Monster!
However, that Humanoid Monster was not so easily dealt with. Although the black energy clung to it like a persistent parasite, continuously corroding its body, the yellow sand beneath its feet kept replenishing its strength.
A flash of golden light appeared as Lin Yi twirled his long knife in an intricate flourish.
Just as Lin Yi prepared to assist Zhao Pei, he suddenly noticed that the headless monster trembled! In an instant, an eerie scene unfolded—the Humanoid Monster blinked and grew another identical head!
In that moment of shock for Lin Yi, the Humanoid Monster condensed a massive blade in its hand and hurled it toward him!
"Clang clang—"
Lin Yi swiftly swung his blade to block the impact from his opponent. Then, using the force of the blow, he retreated several meters away.
“Zhao Pei, these monsters are Immortal Bodies. They can absorb the yellow sand for their own use!”
Lin Yi was in a panic. He narrowly avoided being struck by the opponent's long knife several times. This Humanoid Monster, though massive, was incredibly agile. As Lin Yi dodged and maneuvered, he found himself caught off guard as the creature closed in on him.
“Lin, trap it with energy all over its body. Don’t let it absorb that yellow sand!”
From a distance, Zhao Pei saw Lin Yi’s desperate situation and couldn’t help but remind him, secretly questioning how he had managed to survive this long.
Lin Yi was taken aback. He slapped his forehead; he had always treated this Humanoid Monster like a Zombie, thinking that simply decapitating it would suffice. However, after he had severed its head earlier, it had grown back, and amidst the creature's relentless attacks, Lin Yi had yet to find an opportunity.
Hearing Zhao Pei’s warning, Lin Yi’s eyes suddenly widened. Instantly, dozens of shimmering, nearly transparent Energy Daggers appeared and hovered around him!
“Go—”
The daggers shot forth like meteors trailing fiery tails toward the Humanoid Monster! In reality, the moment Lin Yi reacted, the Energy Daggers had already embedded themselves into the monster's body.
The Humanoid Monster was momentarily stunned by this sudden assault, causing its attack to falter. Lin Yi seized the opportunity and shouted loudly as a chill descended upon the previously dry air.
In the next instant, a thick Ice Layer suddenly formed over the yellowish Humanoid Monster! This Ice Layer cut off the monster's supply of yellow sand, and in the blink of an eye, it was frozen into an Ice Sculpture.
A glint of cold light flashed in Lin Yi’s eyes. Suddenly, the frozen Humanoid Monster began to crack with loud “crackling” sounds as it exploded from within!
The dozens of Ice Crystal Daggers that Lin Yi had inserted into its body moments ago now detonated inside it!
Even though this Humanoid Monster's body was as hard as diamond, it could not withstand the impact of the exploding ice crystals at that moment. In an instant, it shattered into countless ice shards.
However, Lin Yi did not dare to let his guard down. He immediately manipulated the shards to float in mid-air and summoned a surge of white flames that enveloped all the fragments. The temperature of the white flames was extremely high; even the surrounding space seemed to warp slightly due to the intense heat.
In just a few blinks of an eye, those shards transformed into wisps of white smoke and vanished without a trace!
“Roar—”
At that moment, a mournful howl suddenly echoed from Zhao Pei's direction, filled with a mix of fear and unwillingness, growing louder.
Lin Yi turned to look towards Zhao Pei, who had just teleported a Humanoid Monster into the air. It was rapidly dissolving, the swirling black mist corroding its body with an intense and violent force.
"Ha—"
Lin Yi let out a sigh of relief. Thankfully, these Humanoid Monsters were not truly invincible; otherwise, both of them might have met their end here.
After Zhao Pei killed the Humanoid Monster, he quickly approached Lin Yi, but his expression was far from good.
"Old Zhao, what's wrong?" Lin Yi called out, using the nickname he had for Zhao Pei many years ago. Naturally, Zhao Pei referred to him as Linzi.
"I feel something's off. This guy definitely has more tricks up his sleeve!" Zhao Pei's face was slightly flushed; he had expended quite a bit of energy during the recent battle.
Lin Yi glanced around. Aside from the endless yellow sands, there was little else to see. The previously hovering Steve seemed to have vanished without a trace.
"Alright then, let's charge out now; if we die here, there won't even be anyone to collect our bodies!"
The yellow sand landscape appeared eerily calm, as if a storm were brewing. An invisible sense of pressure lingered in the hearts of the two men.
"Thinking about escaping now seems a bit late, doesn't it?"
Just then, a ghostly voice suddenly resonated in the air. They looked up to see none other than the recently vanished Blonde Zombie Steve.
Suddenly, Lin Yi felt a disturbance beneath his feet, as if countless giant Scorpions were about to emerge from the sand.
"Roar—"
"Roar—"
"……"
The echoing roars reverberated throughout the entire Yellow Sand Space, and at that moment, mounds began to rise up from the yellow sands.
In the blink of an eye, a dense swarm of Humanoid Behemoths appeared before the two of them. These Humanoid Behemoths, identical to the previous ones, exuded the aura of Super Tier Warriors.
"How about this? Are these enough to keep you entertained? Hahaha..."
Steve's triumphant laughter filled every corner of this space. At this moment, Lin Yi and Zhao Pei finally understood that those two Humanoid Monsters they had encountered earlier were merely appetizers.
Lin Yi was confident in his ability to slay such a Super Tier Humanoid Monster without much trouble. However, looking at the endless sea of Humanoid Monsters before him, he realized that even if he had ten more of himself, he would still feel utterly powerless.
"Is this really the pinnacle of power on this planet?"
Zhao Pei was now somewhat dazed. He knew that unless a miracle occurred, he was left with only one path—death.
"No matter how strong they are, do we have any choice other than to fight to the end?"
Lin Yi managed a bitter smile. Ever since his strength surpassed the peak of Ten Star Level, it was the first time he felt such helplessness. With such combat power on this planet, it would likely take just a moment to reduce the entire world to ruins!

Zhao Pei, who had been slightly trembling moments ago, suddenly stood tall and straight. In such a situation of overwhelming disparity in power, there was no other option but to fight desperately for survival!

Lin Yi shouted as energy surged violently within him, and soon a Multicolored Longsword formed in his hand!
This was a sword forged from several different elemental energies. Of course, the thick Yellowish energy was not yet present; he had not yet mastered using the newly absorbed Energy Crystal.
Zhao Pei was not to be outdone, as a massive long-handled axe appeared in his hands. The blade of the axe gleamed with a blinding cold light, undoubtedly sharp enough to slice through hair.
"Boom—"
Both of them stomped their feet forward, and a tremendous force surged from beneath them, sending powerful shockwaves ahead. Under the immense pressure, the nearby Humanoid Monsters momentarily lost their balance.
"Now's our chance!"
Lin Yi shouted, and the blade in his hand surged with energy. He slightly bent his body, and a crescent-shaped blade of light shot forth from his long sword.
"Zzzzz—"
The sound of brief friction echoed as dozens of Humanoid Monsters in front of Lin Yi were sliced in half like ripe fruit.
At that moment, Zhao Pei swung his long-handled axe, cleaving through the bodies of the Humanoid Monsters. In an instant, dozens of them were reduced to two halves.
"Prevent them from absorbing the yellow sand underground!"
Lin Yi stomped his foot, and a miraculous scene unfolded. A layer of ice crystals rapidly spread out from beneath Lin Yi's feet toward the front. Zhao Pei was equally relentless; dark mist rose from beneath his feet, covering the ground ahead of him.
