The power of a single palm was terrifying!
Not only was Lin Yi shocked, but even Li Qiweng, who had witnessed many strong individuals, gasped in surprise, her lips parting slightly, a hint of panic flashing in her eyes.
Then, as if she had come to her senses, Li Qiweng's figure blurred, and her arms wrapped around Lin Yi's neck. In her hand, an Ice Blade gleamed ominously.
"Leave immediately, or I will kill him!" Li Qiweng's voice roared like a demon from hell, sending a bone-chilling sensation through Lin Yi.
"Sir!"
The newly formed Black and Red were still savoring the shock of the power they had just experienced when they suddenly saw the person they were meant to protect being taken hostage by another mistress. Even with their high intelligence, it was hard for them to accept this situation.
At least in Black and Red's hearts, the bond between the two was very strong. But now Li Qiweng actually wanted to kill Lin Yi; this did not align with their previous memories.
"Wen, do you remember our first meeting?"
To everyone's surprise, Lin Yi casually asked Li Qiweng about their past memories. Wasn't it too late to reminisce about sweet times now?
"I remember. Back then, your uncle and aunt brought you over to play. You fought me for the Barbie doll, and I ended up beating you up!" Li Qiweng replied, a hint of warmth appearing on her face, even a trace of a smile lingering.
Lin Yi nodded as if lost in thought and continued, "Maybe from that moment on, I was afraid of you. I tried my best to go along with whatever you wanted.
But later on, my mom said that once I married you, you'd have to listen to me. So back then, I kept an eye on you, though I was mostly scared. You hit me too hard the first time; it left me traumatized."
At this point, Lin Yi chuckled lightly. His courage had grown over time; however, as he spent more time with Li Qiweng, he gradually changed. Throughout this process, he began to see Li Qiweng as the most important person in his life.
"So now?" Li Qiweng quickly returned to reality, pressing the blade closer to Lin Yi's neck.
"Now, perhaps this is the last time you'll bully me..."
Just as Lin Yi finished speaking, Li Qiweng felt him suddenly lunge toward the blade. Although her reaction speed was quick enough, at such close range, in the blink of an eye, the Energy Blade pierced into Lin Yi's neck.
"Szzzz—"
The blade cut directly into Lin Yi's carotid artery. Completely drained of energy at that moment, Lin Yi was just an ordinary person; blood gushed out uncontrollably. His face turned pale at an alarming rate. It seemed as if he had been frozen in an instant; his complexion darkened to a ghastly hue.
"Yi—"
Li Qiweng, realizing what was happening, suddenly panicked. She had always wanted to kill Lin Yi, but when he truly lay dying before her, she felt an inexplicable pain in her heart as if it were being torn apart.
A single crystalline tear fell onto the sandy ground, and Li Qiweng's expression was strange—half in agony, half indifferent. Even Black and Red could sense the complexity of her emotions.
"Sir—"
Gorilla's buzzing voice rang out. It hadn’t expected Lin Yi’s final choice would be suicide. Watching its master die before its eyes filled it with rage, and it glared ferociously at Wang Xing.
"What are you doing? This was his choice to end his life; it has nothing to do with me!" Wang Xing felt the intense killing intent emanating from Gorilla and, despite his usual confidence, felt a twinge of fear.
"Die!"
A cold voice echoed, followed by a massive shadow shooting toward Wang Xing. The tremendous impact made the entire gray space tremble.
Li Qiweng, overwhelmed with complex emotions, held Lin Yi tightly, feeling an unprecedented pain. She couldn’t understand why she was crying; she should have been happy about his death, yet it felt as if she had lost her soul, unable to muster any spirit.
"No... no... you can't die..."
Tears streamed uncontrollably down Li Qiweng's face, falling onto Lin Yi's features. The crystalline tears washed away the dirt on his face, and for a moment, she seemed to see the Lin Yi from her memories again.
In the next instant, faint blue ripples suddenly radiated from Li Qiweng’s body—her energy waves. These waves seemed to have a mind of their own as they continuously seeped into Lin Yi’s body.
At that moment, a miraculous scene unfolded: the horrifying gash on Lin Yi's neck began to heal at a visible speed.
Lin Yi's once waxy skin slowly regained vitality; his previously emaciated form appeared to swell with life as it became plump and radiant. Even his severed arm began to grow flesh rapidly under Li Qiweng's energy infusion. In the blink of an eye, a delicate arm resembling that of an infant had regrown.
However, Lin Yi still showed no signs of coming back to life. Although his complexion had turned rosy and he looked as if he were merely sleeping, there was not a hint of breath.
Li Qiweng was frantic, pouring her energy desperately into Lin Yi’s body while her own face rapidly paled.
The battle between Gorilla and Wang Xing had reached a stalemate; Wang Xing continuously replenished his energy thanks to the advantages of his gray world. Although Gorilla was powerful, it had yet to find an opportunity for a decisive blow.
At this moment, Wang Xing's heart was racing with tension. No one understood better than him the murderous intent Li Qiweng held towards Lin Yi. He was also acutely aware of Li Qiweng's combat power; if he teamed up with Gorilla, they could easily overpower him.
"Let's do this!"
Wang Xing shouted, and immediately, energy radiated from his body at an astonishing speed. However, this energy began to condense, forming a massive Humanoid Monster.
Then, a flicker of malevolence crossed Wang Xing's brow as a drop of bright red blood suddenly appeared before him. In the blink of an eye, it seemed to pulse with life, expanding and contracting rhythmically until it transformed into a dark red hue.
"Go—"
With a light command from Wang Xing, the dark red blood surged into the gray Humanoid Monster, causing its aura to spike dramatically. Meanwhile, Wang Xing's own presence began to wane. Strangely, his body became translucent, as if fading away entirely, until he vanished completely.
Gorilla witnessed this phenomenon and realized that his opponent was fighting for his life. He summoned a massive war hammer into his hands.
"Roar—"
Gorilla let out a thunderous roar and charged at the Humanoid Monster. In response, the Humanoid Monster bellowed angrily and brandished a spear, preparing for a direct confrontation.
On the side, Li Qiweng held Lin Yi in his arms but was oblivious to the chaos unfolding around them. His face was etched with pain as he focused solely on Lin Yi, hoping she would survive.
Due to excessive energy expenditure, Li Qiweng's breath had become extremely weak.
"Poof—"
Finally unable to suppress the drain of energy any longer, Li Qiweng coughed up blood that splattered onto Lin Yi's face. Soon after, he could no longer hold on; his legs buckled beneath him and he collapsed.
Suddenly, in the previously silent gray space, a surge of vibrant life erupted forth. From the barren ground tiles, green grass sprouted at an observable rate, interspersed with various unnamed wildflowers. The once desolate atmosphere now felt like a refreshing spring breeze, transforming it into a paradise.
At that moment, the blood from Li Qiweng that stained Lin Yi's face rapidly seeped into his body. Even the tears that had fallen upon him were absorbed completely.
Lin Yi's skin, once marred by dirt, became crystal clear at an astonishing pace. An infinite vitality radiated from within him as streams of miraculous energy washed over him like the purest water source in existence, cleansing him of every last trace of deathly aura.
Such a significant disturbance did not go unnoticed by others. The two colossal beings locked in battle in the void momentarily froze in place.
"No, this is impossible!"
The Humanoid Monster, the embodiment of Wang Xing, was the first to sense the changes in the space around it. It felt that the entire environment was no longer under its control; at least, those vibrant flowers and plants were not something it could create. An indescribable panic clung to its mind like a persistent shadow.
In the next moment, taking advantage of Gorilla's momentary distraction, the Humanoid Monster suddenly twisted its body and broke free from Gorilla's grasp.
"Roar—"
Seeing its opponent escape from its hold, Gorilla's massive form spun at an incredible angle. In the next instant, its arm surged forward and grabbed the Humanoid Monster by the thigh.
"Let go of me!"
The Humanoid Monster shouted, using Gorilla's pull to spin around and throw a punch at Gorilla's face.
Suddenly, Gorilla's visage seemed to dissolve, transforming into a pancake-like shape. The Humanoid Monster's fist struck what felt like a pool of water, most of its force dissipating upon impact.
At that moment, a powerful aura surged from the ground, and the previously enraged Humanoid Monster felt as if it were being suppressed by some invisible force, freezing in place.
A formidable presence enveloped it, reminiscent of an unparalleled king. Instantly, a fear that originated from the depths of its soul swept over the Humanoid Monster. It struggled to turn its head and look down at the ground, knowing that this terrifying sensation came from the man who had already died.
