"It truly is a god-like existence..."
Froeman murmured to himself as he gazed at the immense force. As a soldier, his yearning for power was something that ordinary people could hardly comprehend. Especially for someone like Froeman, who had been hunted for years; if he possessed such formidable strength, he would certainly have the leverage to negotiate with others.
Meanwhile, in a remote oval-shaped building far from Australia, terrified screams echoed one after another.

On the surveillance screen, a powerful energy surged from the ground, targeting the cluster of Base Laser Cannons in space! These Laser Cannons had been repositioned in a short time to deliver the most lethal strike possible. However, those who had deployed this group of Base Laser Cannons perhaps did not anticipate that their once invincible weapons were now facing a life-and-death crisis.
"There are only three seconds left to react!"
A young man with a pale face quickly calculated the flight speed of that immense energy and slumped despairingly into his chair.
Each Base Laser Cannon was a massive artificial satellite weighing several tons. Although they traveled at high speeds, three seconds was simply not enough time for them to respond. Moreover, dozens of such behemoths were gathered around, and three seconds was barely enough to initiate their commands!
Three seconds—short, yet incredibly long. The pale-faced young man stared at the energy traces on the screen, step by step witnessing the destruction of the Base Laser Cannon.
What was destined to happen eventually did. As the young man felt his heart rise to his throat, that overwhelming force finally swept through the entire Base Laser Cannon group.
On the screen, it looked as if flowers were exploding, with flames bursting forth in a chaotic display. Yet everyone present felt as if they had swallowed a fly, overwhelmed with discomfort. They were all responsible for this Base Laser Cannon group, and on their very first mission, they had failed utterly!
The explosion on the screen was silent, but the blooming "fireworks" deeply wounded each person's heart.
"The Third Base Group is finished!" As they watched the flames erupting on the screen, everyone's spirits sank to rock bottom. This represented absolute power, and now the entire Base Laser Cannon group had been destroyed!

At that moment, in a tall building far from the Third Base Group, a tall and sturdy man stood before a floor-to-ceiling window, gazing down at the dense crowd below. A hint of fatigue crossed his face.
Regardless of others' feelings, Lin Yi was indeed in shock. He had encountered Ten-Star Combat Power before; aside from more peculiar abilities, it lacked the overwhelming strength exhibited by Wang Kai!

Lin Yi paused for a moment before responding, "I'm really having trouble understanding what's going on. How did we suddenly go straight to a base laser cannon strike?"
Wang Kai wore a half-smile as he replied, "I know you're still doubting me, but if I truly wanted to kill you, that last strike would have been enough to obliterate all of you. Even with your Spatial Ability, do you think you could escape under my energy lock?"
"Koala Uncle, the moment we learned about your situation, we didn't hesitate to bring our family's elite forces to find you. This is no joke."
Wang Zijun widened her eyes as she looked at Lin Yi. At that moment, she truly resembled a young woman, rather than the iron-willed Captain who led the Thousand Mercenary Corps to victory and secured third place in the Mercenary King competition.
"Boss, how about we..."
Renesmee glanced at everyone, her eyes betraying a hint of sadness. Her nature was calm, and she had never liked this kind of life. Yet, she was someone who understood the importance of gratitude. Out of appreciation for Lin Yi and a sense of respect for him, she had always followed him with her few remaining tribespeople, even though they frequently faced ambushes.
Although her bounty was not as high as Lin Yi's, she was still one of the most wanted women in history.
Living under such relentless pursuit was undoubtedly painful. Ever since Nicolas was injured, she had increasingly wished for stability. She had felt Wang Kai's strength earlier and believed he was definitely on her side.
Seeing that even someone as cold as Renesmee had spoken up, Lin Yi naturally did not refuse. As for the others, he knew they were all waiting for his opinion.
"With Speaker Wang's strength, I assume you are not just here to gather a few followers. I wonder what role I can play?" Lin Yi understood that there was no free lunch; this man before him would not come to help him without reason. Wang Kai paused for a moment, but quickly laughed heartily, easing the slightly awkward atmosphere that had settled among the crowd.
