As Lin Yi prepared to tear through space and escape, disregarding his injuries, he finally caught sight of the girl who had become even more charming than two years ago. It turned out that four years had passed, and the once youthful girl had developed a more feminine allure, her brows now carrying hints of womanly charm.
"Koala Uncle, long time no see!"
A clear voice rang out, followed by six figures descending gracefully. Lin Yi squinted; three of them were familiar faces—Wang Zijun, Alyah, and the stern Adelaide. Lin Yi's mind raced as he pieced together their relationships, though he assumed Wang Zijun would introduce them properly later.
"Chairman Lin, it's an honor to meet you!"
As the six landed, the square-faced middle-aged man extended his hand with a smile to shake Lin Yi's.
"You must be Mr. Wang Kai, the First Speaker of the Pacific Theater!" Although Lin Yi wasn't very familiar with the high-ranking officials of the Mercenary Alliance, he certainly recognized this First Speaker.
"Wang is just a casual person. How could I compare to Chairman Lin? From an ordinary employee to your current position—truly impressive for someone so young!"
Lin Yi smiled awkwardly and replied, "Speaker Wang is too kind. I'm just a despised zombie that everyone wants to avoid; there's nothing impressive about me."

Wang Kai laughed heartily, dispelling the slightly awkward atmosphere with his joviality.

Wang Zijun rarely showed signs of shyness as she playfully blinked her dark grape-like eyes at Lin Yi and stuck out her tongue mischievously.
Lin Yi looked at Wang Kai with a hint of embarrassment and quickly changed the subject, saying, "This must be Speaker Wang's son. May I ask which one you are?"
