The blonde woman had a pair of soft, white curves that were prominently displayed, hinting at even more tantalizing sights beneath. Her simple casual outfit sparked endless imagination.
The barmaid looked at the beautiful woman before her and felt as if she had developed a fondness for her. This suburban tavern usually attracted familiar faces, but it was the first time she had seen such an enchanting figure.
Fortunately, being somewhat worldly, the barmaid adjusted her emotions slightly, straightened her back, and gracefully approached with a smile. "Welcome to the Blue Tavern. How may I assist you?"
"A glass of Marsala Wine, please!"
The blonde woman's voice was pleasant; though not melodious, it flowed like a babbling brook, bringing a refreshing sensation.
The barmaid paused for a moment before nodding and quickly darting to the wine cabinet to prepare a glass of Marsala for the lovely guest.
Finally encountering such a beautiful customer piqued the barmaid's curiosity. However, she noticed that the blonde woman did not choose a sunlit spot but instead headed toward a corner—the darkest area of the tavern.
The barmaid frowned. She clearly saw the blonde woman smiling, but it was directed at a scruffy man in the shadows. Oddly enough, this man had been the first to arrive and the last to leave for nearly half a month, always drinking alone but never appearing drunk.
He resembled a wild man from an untouched forest, completely unaware of personal hygiene. His odor grew increasingly unbearable, prompting complaints from other patrons. Yet each time he waved his hand and bought everyone drinks, most chose to forgive him despite their grievances about his smell.
