Will looked unexpectedly at the somewhat ugly man in front of him. He felt a mix of dissatisfaction and helplessness, as the fleeting tenderness on Ying Sa's face caused him pain—a tenderness that only exists between lovers.
Suddenly, Will's eyes widened, and he blurted out instinctively, "Lin Yi!"
"It's been a long time, Mr. Will!"
A hoarse voice came from the ugly man's mouth, sounding as if two rough stones were grinding against each other in his ears.
"What... are you doing here?" Ying Sa asked first, her eyes filled with hope, which quickly faded into disappointment.
"I'm here to find you!"
Lin Yi's appearance returned to its original state, and his voice adjusted with his emotions, becoming normal again.
At this moment, Lin Yi's gaze was solely fixed on Ying Sa, completely ignoring Will beside him. Ying Sa seemed ready to retreat but then appeared to make a decision as she locked eyes with Lin Yi.
"Lin Yi, leave immediately. I can pretend I didn't see anything. Otherwise, I think it will be very difficult for you to walk out of this military camp!"
Will's expression suddenly changed as he looked at Lin Yi and spoke slowly. Just moments ago, he had concealed his aura like an ordinary person, but now he was radiating his Nine-Star Combat Power.
Lin Yi sensed a hint of danger in the air but couldn't pinpoint it. Every Nine-Star Level combatant possesses a unique Bestow Unique Ability, and since Will hadn't unleashed it yet, Lin Yi naturally couldn't detect it.

Ying Sa paused for a moment but nodded, signaling Lin Yi to continue. Will, on the other hand, appeared conflicted. His gaze was somewhat unfocused, yet he showed no signs of loosening his watch on Lin Yi.
"Even though they proved that I carry the Zombie Virus, that doesn't mean their claims are true! Along the way, I've noticed many strange phenomena. For instance, there has been a resurgence of large-scale Zombies in Australia. And Albert has turned out to be a traitor!
Most of the Zombies have already been eliminated. However, there are so-called militia groups everywhere claiming to eradicate Zombies. They stir up trouble wherever they go! They don't even know how many people they've killed, yet they have faced no punishment. This situation is very suspicious!
Logically, the Zombies should have mostly been wiped out by now. Yet the Quarantine Walls in various regions have only become more fortified and towering; from a distance, they look like a massive Cage!
Moreover, the last time multiple heads of state were imprisoned for treason, it didn't cause any unrest at all. That's very abnormal! So I believe this is a conspiracy, one that has been meticulously planned out!
But I also know that some people have learned certain things, like Kofi. After his death, he warned me to pay attention to the person with identity number 1. According to my findings, the person with identity number 1 is always the head of state; they all share the same number. But now many of them are in trouble, so I suspect these individuals are either victims or traitors!
I don't know how much Kofi truly understood about the situation, but it seems he was right. The evil force behind this is just too deeply hidden; I can't find any clues at all. That's why I hope you can help!"
Lin Yi poured out his suspicions in one breath, but these were also things he had experienced firsthand. From the very beginning, everything felt strange; it seemed as if his capture had been planned long ago. After all, Lin Yi hadn't undergone any blood tests prior—how could it be definitively proven that he was a Zombie?
"You've said so much just to argue that you're not a Zombie, but even if that's true, it doesn't change your fate as one!"
Will sneered after hearing Lin Yi's words, his expression oddly twisted.
Ying Sa looked pained but spoke slowly and deliberately: "The testing video was broadcast worldwide; there was no chance for forgery. And there were so many people present at the scene—the test results must be genuine!"
"Fine, let's assume for a moment that I am a Zombie. But I don't harm anyone; I even help humanity eliminate Zombies. Do you still want to kill me?"
"Hahaha, that's quite amusing! Zombies need to consume human flesh and blood as energy to survive. Can you guarantee that you'll never harm anyone for your entire life? Can you sacrifice yourself to save others?
Besides, who knows if your assistance in exterminating Zombies isn't part of a larger conspiracy? Those who are not of my kind must have different intentions! You are a Zombie; therefore, you must die!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, a fierce expression suddenly flashed across Will's face, and in the next moment, a blue light surged from his body!
Lin Yi had been focusing all his attention on Ying Sa, completely unprepared for Will's sudden attack. He didn't even have time to defend himself!
In the blink of an eye, a blue arc of electricity shot through the air, followed by a crackling sound as it struck Lin Yi directly. In that instant, an indescribable tingling sensation spread throughout his body, quickly followed by a tearing pain that engulfed every part of him. Lin Yi felt as if his very soul had been jolted out by this powerful current, leaving him dizzy.

Will took a few steps back, astonished as he looked at Lin Yi. He had long known about Lin Yi's strength through various channels. Thus, he had prepared for this moment, seizing the opportunity to strike with lightning while Lin Yi was off guard!
However, Will did not expect that his strongest attack would not achieve the desired effect. Lin Yi's body was charred all over; the tight-fitting shirt on his upper body had been blasted into charred fragments clinging to his muscular frame. One could faintly see the raw red flesh beneath the scorched skin, but it was slowly beginning to heal.
The powerful current triggered the surrounding alarm systems, and piercing sirens echoed throughout the camp. Several strong presences were rapidly approaching, while ordinary Star Level guards began searching for anomalies.
"Are you... okay?" Ying Sa had initially wanted to capture Lin Yi, but upon seeing him charred and battered by the electricity, her heart softened unexpectedly. Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke.
Lin Yi forced a smile and replied with some effort, "I'm fine. Knowing you care about me makes it impossible for me to be in trouble."
Just as he finished speaking, several strong presences arrived in quick succession. They were inside the military camp; once they detected something unusual, they would swiftly pinpoint the location of the incident!
Hearing Lin Yi's response, Ying Sa's eyes filled with tears. Her previously bright and watery eyes now overflowed with tears that uncontrollably dripped down her delicate skin.
Lin Yi struggled to stand upright, realizing that the three newcomers were all at the Nine Star Level. Despite his severe injuries, he still saw a glimmer of hope for escape.
"Ying Sa, you and I are both Zombies. Fine, I’ll be a Zombie! But I am a Zombie who doesn’t do evil deeds. Are you really unwilling to let me go? Must it be a fight to the death?"
Lin Yi adjusted his posture and continued addressing Ying Sa. He was already locked onto by several people; tearing through space to escape was impossible unless Ying Sa chose not to attack. Otherwise, he had no chance of fleeing!
"Hahaha, a mere Zombie daring to talk about good and evil—how utterly ridiculous!" laughed a Hook-Nosed Man who had just arrived, his snake-like eyes fixed intently on Lin Yi.
Seeing Ying Sa still crying there softened Lin Yi's heart, but he knew he had to act immediately. In the next moment, Lin Yi's figure suddenly shifted and vanished from sight!
The Hook-Nosed Man felt an intense sense of danger enveloping him, yet he couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from!
"Heart!"
Will, who had been closely watching Lin Yi, shouted out. His strength surpassed that of the others, and he vaguely sensed Lin Yi's trajectory.
As soon as he spoke, the Hook-Nosed Man suddenly felt a searing heat at the back of his head! A sharp pain and burning sensation surged into his mind, but soon after, he lost consciousness and collapsed dead on the ground!
From the moment the Hook-Nosed Man appeared until his death, less than ten seconds had passed! At that moment, there was a massive gash on the back of his head, surrounded by charred flesh. Even the exposed brainstem had flickering flames dancing upon it! The brain matter oozing out met those flames and instantly erupted in thick white smoke, quickly turning to ash.
