Upon hearing Lin Yi's intention to leave immediately, Nicolas hurriedly advised against it. He felt that the current situation was too dangerous and that Lin Yi's plan was not well thought out.

Renesmee walked over gracefully, her lovely face carrying a hint of charm. Lin Yi noticed something different about her but couldn't pinpoint what had changed.
Lin Yi sighed; the only thing keeping him going was the truth. Renesmee and the others were not human after all; it was normal for them to choose avoidance in such matters. Froeman and the others had been hunted for years; they probably had long since given up hope.
But Lin Yi was not willing to give up. Even though the road ahead was fraught with danger, he knew that avoiding it would only make things worse. So why not face it head-on?

A soft sound resonated through the surrounding waters, and soon a colorful world appeared in this desolate sea. It was evident that this rift was far more stable than the one Lin Yi had torn open before.
Without hesitation, Lin Yi dove into that entrance, and then the entire space vanished. At that moment, the submarine continued its descent, and the surface of the sea quickly returned to calm. The fish that had just dispersed returned to their original places as if no one had ever appeared here.
Lin Yi felt a buzzing in his mind as the scenery around him rapidly shifted. He soon found himself in a brightly lit bustling area—the Paris Defense Zone!
The air was thick with the scent of strong perfume; even Lin Yi could sense the alluring undertones within it. He took a deep breath and gently exhaled, his eyes reflecting a hint of fascination with this fragrance.
Lin Yi appeared in a dark corner where no one noticed his sudden arrival. After adjusting his mood, he turned and stepped out from the shadows.
However, strangely enough, as Lin Yi's appearance gradually came into view in the light, his features changed at an astonishing speed—soon transforming into a tall man with high cheekbones and a sharp chin!
This was Lin Yi's first attempt to change his appearance by manipulating the distribution of muscles within his body. However, such a transformation required a significant amount of energy to support it. Lin Yi's current appearance was common on the streets, making it impossible for him to reveal himself openly.
According to the intelligence Lin Yi had gathered, Ying Sa and her Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group were stationed in Paris. Lin Yi was already quite familiar with Ying Sa's aura, but he couldn't use his Psychic Power to check at the moment; he could only choose to head to their base and try his luck.
By coincidence, the location where Ying Sa and her group were stationed was the same temporary shelter established for refugees during the Zombie Crisis. The events that had transpired there felt like they had happened just yesterday, yet many things had changed since then.
Lin Yi moved like a shadow, completely undetectable to those around him. Even the surveillance cameras only caught a fleeting glimpse of a phantom; if one didn't look closely, they would never notice Lin Yi's presence.
Minutes later, Lin Yi arrived at the outskirts of the base. The buildings here were identical to military structures, surrounded by high walls and guarded by personnel. Powerful searchlights continuously scanned the area, and the alarm systems operated without pause.
Lin Yi squinted as he surveyed his surroundings and soon realized that his information was incorrect. Such a large base could not possibly house only one Mercenary Squad! Among the patrolling soldiers, Lin Yi detected something unusual; there were not only mercenaries but also military personnel present!
A sense of unease crept into Lin Yi's mind, but with no turning back now, he had to proceed. Leaving now would be easy, but finding Ying Sa again in the future would not be so simple.
For safety's sake, Lin Yi had refrained from using his energy until now. At this moment, however, he could no longer afford to hesitate; he quietly extended his Psychic Power!
Lin Yi was no stranger to Ying Sa and quickly located her presence! However, he also sensed another powerful aura nearby—someone familiar yet unrecognizable.
In an instant, Lin Yi blurred and slipped past the guards' defenses, shooting straight toward Ying Sa's location. He deftly avoided alarms and security personnel along the way; for someone with such mastery over Spatial Ability as him, evading detection was relatively easy.
Within moments, Lin Yi found himself less than fifty meters away from Ying Sa! Yet he couldn't approach her directly just yet; after all, there was still someone else with her!
But when Lin Yi caught sight of that man, his heart skipped a beat! The familiar aura he had sensed belonged to Will! Now adorned with a shining star insignia on his shoulder, it was clear that this young man had been promoted to Major General! Observing Will’s aura revealed its depth and solidity; evidently, his strength had surged in recent years, reaching at least the pinnacle of Nine Star Level!
From a distance, Will and Ying Sa were engaged in intimate conversation; several times Will even patted Ying Sa's shoulder affectionately, and she showed no sign of displeasure.
For some reason, an unexpected pang of bitterness surged within Lin Yi, causing his own aura to inadvertently leak out.
"Who is it?"
Lin Yi's aura had just revealed a hint of itself when a sharp voice rang out, belonging to Ying Sa! With her Ten-Star Combat Power, she was extremely sensitive to any movement around her.
