Hearing Froeman's words, Lin Yi raised an eyebrow and curiously asked, "Do they really think they can catch me?"
Lin Yi was familiar with only a few mercenary groups, and he silently hoped that it wouldn't be those two teams; otherwise, it would be difficult to act.
"They don't think they can catch you, but they know your temperament! The ones coming this time are the Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group and your Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps!" Lin Yi paused for a moment before nodding. The two of them walked from the dim back room into the courtyard, which had suddenly filled with several people. Leading them was a strikingly beautiful woman—Renesmee. Behind her stood four others: Nicolas and the now-grown girl Tina, along with two similar-looking individuals—the illusionist twin brothers Lashar and Roots. These three vampires who were once mere children had now matured; Tina's freckles had vanished, her round face framed by large black eyes like black gemstones, her brown hair tied high in a youthful style.
As for the twin brothers, Lashar and Roots now appeared somewhat eerie, both possessing gray eyes. Their faces were elongated and pale as paper, giving off a chilling aura.
The twins were quite taciturn, mostly listening to Renesmee without communicating much with Lin Yi. This time, the five of them were following Lin Yi under Renesmee's and Nicolas's lead.
Nicolas had been in a depressed state since his wings were torn off. However, Renesmee's attitude toward him had improved significantly. Lin Yi felt that their relationship was nearing a turning point. Yet at this moment, Nicolas had lost the most iconic aspect of their Holy Clan identity, so Lin Yi refrained from saying too much.
Just after Renesmee's group appeared, several more individuals emerged from the shadows. Lin Yi instinctively sensed their presence and was shocked to discover that there were two young experts at the Eight-Star Level among them. The other two were slightly older but also reached the Seven-Star Level.
"These four are my old subordinates and brothers," Froeman said while pointing at the newly appeared men. "Although we've been hunted down all this time, we managed to enhance our strength using Potential Unleasher potions bought on the black market. However, due to our poor foundation, we might never advance further in our lives."
Froeman looked at Lin Yi with a hint of envy as he spoke. As the only Nine-Star Level individual here with such an extraordinary Bestow Unique Ability, Lin Yi was someone every Star-Level Combat Power member aspired to be!
Lin Yi nodded at them. When he first brought Renesmee and Nicolas to Mombasa, they happened upon Froeman while he was being chased!

"General, I think we need to withdraw from Nairobi!" One of Froeman's older subordinates stepped forward with prominent cheekbones and spoke in a low voice.
The man still referred to Froeman as "General," indicating his loyalty to him.
"Oku, we've been operating in Nairobi for years. If we pull out now, we'll be like blind men in the outside world!" Although Nairobi could be considered Deman's Base Camp, Froeman was already familiar with the area. Following the principle of "darkness under the lamp," he had been repeatedly driven out of Nairobi but always found a way to sneak back and hide.
This was one of the reasons Froeman had survived for so many years; Deman could never have imagined that most of the time, Froeman was hiding right under his nose.
A man referred to as Oku by Froeman flashed a pained expression and said, "They are going all out this time. The brother responsible for relaying messages must have already sacrificed himself, and the other contacts have also gone silent. I suspect they have been captured by the enemy!"
Upon hearing Oku's words, Froeman's expression shifted between hope and despair. If they managed to escape this time, it might be impossible for them to return.
"General, I’ve caused you trouble this time," Lin Yi said with a hint of regret on his face. If they couldn't escape now, it would truly be a disservice to them.
Froeman raised his hand to stop Lin Yi from continuing and said, "Even if you hadn't come, he wouldn't spare me now that he has gained so much power. If we join forces now, we might just find a glimmer of hope!"

As soon as they stepped outside, they moved like a gust of wind, following Froeman swiftly in one direction. The people around barely felt a strong breeze pass by and noticed nothing else.
They ran at full speed for several dozen seconds before arriving at a large garbage transfer station. Froeman seemed completely familiar with the scene and quickly darted behind a pile of garbage, revealing a long wall ahead. The wall was somewhat dilapidated and covered with heaps of trash.
Then Froeman began rummaging through the garbage without caring about the foul smell.
"Up—" It seemed he had found something; Froeman shouted softly and pulled something buried in the trash up.
Without any visible effort from Froeman, a massive metal manhole cover was lifted and tossed aside.
"Let's go! This sewer leads directly to a river outside the city; we just need to rush out!" Froeman shook off the garbage in his hands and signaled his subordinates to jump down.
Oku immediately jumped down without hesitation, followed by two young men. Lin Yi glanced at Nicolas and the others before leading the way down.
Once everyone had jumped down, Froeman followed suit. However, his Psychic Power was too weak to manipulate the heavy manhole cover effectively.
Lin Yi merely narrowed his eyes and covered the manhole with the lid before controlling several thousand kilograms of trash to press down on top of it.
The entire sewer was engulfed in darkness, with only the sound of water flowing echoing through the air. Lin Yi suddenly felt a wave of anxiety wash over him, but he still followed Consciousness and ran towards the exit alongside Froeman.
According to Froeman's description, this sewer stretched for hundreds of kilometers. Even at their speed, it would take several minutes to escape. Although they could move quickly in short bursts, they couldn't maintain that speed indefinitely.
As they sprinted through the long tunnel, the only sounds were the intense sonic booms of their footsteps and the occasional clatter of falling debris.
With their silent running, they soon approached the exit. Lin Yi, with his keen hearing, could even make out the sound of flowing water outside through the massive gate. This sewer was essentially a collection point for all rainwater, which was pumped out into the river via a drainage system.
The exit Froeman referred to was a wide pipe connected to that drainage system. At that moment, the pipe was still dry, and Oku skillfully began to dismantle the large maple leaf covering the pump.
Just then, not far from the drainage system, the wall suddenly shook violently. A large section of it collapsed with a thunderous crash, and bright beams of light flooded into the dim sewer.
"Everyone inside, raise your hands! Otherwise, we will open fire!" A booming voice rang out, followed by a cacophony of footsteps approaching rapidly.
In an instant, a large number of fully armed elite soldiers gathered in what had once been a spacious sewer.
"This is bad; they were lying in wait for us!"
Froeman's face turned pale. He never expected that they would be ambushed like this; their movements had been discovered, and now they had walked right into a trap!
