Suddenly, Lin Yi leaped forward and crashed directly into the glass wall. The Blade Qi he had gathered slammed against it with force!
The glass wall shook a few times; Lin Yi's slender Blade Qi dissipated, but nothing changed at all.
Outside, Deman watched Lin Yi's struggles with a smile, seemingly enjoying the spectacle. He then explained to the puzzled onlookers, "This cage made of new material cannot be broken even by a Ten-Star Master at full strength. And he is only at Nine Star Level! "Lucy..." Lin Yi called out softly, but no sound escaped his lips.

Lucy leaned against the transparent glass wall, tears streaming down her face, her eyes bloodshot as if she had suffered a great injustice.

But from the very first moment I saw you, I fell hopelessly in love with you. I know it's wrong, but I can't control my feelings. It's foolish, but shouldn't people be allowed to be foolish for love just once?
I knew long ago that they wanted to kill you; in fact, I even joined their ranks.
They told me you were a Giant Zombie, the most evil person! I believed them because they had enough evidence!"
I love you, but I also hate Zombies. Everyone in my family, except for me, was devoured by Zombies!
When they told me who you were, I began to despise you, and eventually, I started to hate you! So when I saw you in reality, I immediately prepared to kill you, no matter the cost!
But now, seeing you on the brink of death, I suddenly feel reluctant. I want to save you, again without considering the consequences.

Lin Yi couldn't hear what Lucy was saying, but he could see the tears streaming down her face—tears that could only come from deep sorrow! Even he was infected by that wave of sadness and couldn't help but shed tears.
However, soon Lin Yi saw two flames erupting from Lucy's hands, instantly covering the invisible glass wall.
But quickly, Lin Yi realized that those two powerful flames had no effect on the glass wall; not even a charred spot appeared.
At that moment, Lucy suddenly smiled, calmly wiping away her tears, and gazed deeply at Lin Yi.
In the next instant, a strange scene unfolded. The flames that had been burning only on Lucy's arms suddenly engulfed her entire body. Then Lucy fell into the Fire Sea, her delicate form surrounded by roaring flames.

Several guards responsible for protecting Deman immediately drew their Laser Guns and aimed at Lucy. But in the next moment, they realized that Lucy seemed to have become an illusion; the Laser Beams passed right through her body without any effect!
Deman's heart sank in shock; even a master at the tenth Star Level would not dare to face the Laser Beam head-on! In that instant, with a wave of his hand, two figures in black appeared before Lucy, their forms flickering as they materialized.
Then, the two black-clad figures moved their hands, unleashing thick waves of dark energy that surged toward Lucy.
In the next moment, a strange scene unfolded. The dark gas seemed to melt away like snow under the blazing sun, rapidly dissipating as it approached Lucy's fiery aura. The powerful black energy could not penetrate her flame's domain!
The two black-clad figures exchanged glances and then snorted coldly. Suddenly, blades emerged from behind them. In an instant, two gleaming knives shot through the air and plunged into Lucy's chest.
However, oddly enough, not a drop of blood flowed from the wounds. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that Lucy's entire body was trembling violently.
“Hahaha... Pfft—” Lucy turned her head and looked at the two expressionless figures nearby, bursting into laughter.
But soon after, she coughed up a mouthful of blood, which burned fiercely as it hit the ground, igniting the earth around her.
“How is this possible?” Deman watched as Lucy teetered on the brink of collapse yet still managed to cling to the glass structure with all her strength.
The glass house was slowly beginning to liquefy, threatening to turn into a puddle at any moment. Capturing Lin Yi would become nearly impossible then. He knew all too well about Lin Yi's incredible Bestow Unique Ability; missing this opportunity would lead to endless troubles.
“Hahaha! I am now entirely an energy entity; physical attacks are nearly ineffective against me!” Lucy wiped the blood from her lips and smiled bitterly at everyone.
At that moment, those present noticed that Lucy's figure was becoming ethereal under the setting sun, as if she truly did not exist.
“If we can't kill you, we can still eliminate that Zombie! Activate the Base Laser Cannon immediately; I want to blast that Zombie into smithereens!”
A fierce look flashed across Deman's face as he issued the command.
Then the Base Weapon began its trajectory adjustment for activation. The United Nations Headquarters served as the nominal highest command center, with Base Weapons always stationed above for protection.
Almost as soon as Deman's words fell, the Base Weapon was successfully activated, and the final energy gathering was complete!
Lucy heard Deman's words, her face showing extreme terror. She was unafraid of energy attacks, but Lin Yi could never withstand the direct assault of the Laser Cannon.
In that moment, Lucy let out a long howl, her entire body radiating intense energy fluctuations.
The next instant, Lin Yi suddenly felt a long-lost sense of comfort wash over him! After nearly reaching his limit, Lin Yi finally breathed in fresh air, as if tasting the sweetest dew of time itself; every limb and bone relaxed completely.
Immediately, Lin Yi sensed several powerful presences around him. The Ten-Star Masters that had been hiding nearby finally revealed themselves.
With the oxygen replenishing him, Lin Yi regained some strength. Coupled with the impact of his Psychic Power, he dashed out of the space confined by the Ten-Star Masters in just a few steps.
"Go all out! Don't give him a chance to escape!"
At that moment, the leader shouted loudly, and Lin Yi felt that oppressive feeling of confinement descend upon him once again! Not only him, but even Lucy was affected by this force of restraint!
"Why are you saving me?" Lin Yi looked at Lucy in confusion. At that moment, she appeared almost like a transparent figure, her body engulfed in flames.
"Because you are my faith; I want to be your most loyal follower!" Lucy said firmly, each word deliberate. But as she finished speaking, her previously solid form began to dissipate, making her look as if she could be blown away at any moment.
