Lin Yi was shaken. This was his first real encounter with a Zombie of Ten-Star Combat Power! The force he had just felt was definitely beyond the level of high Nine-Star Combat Power! A distant voice erupted, the metallic resonance causing the surrounding rain to tremble, transforming it into a series of quivering lines.
Lin Yi felt a surge of intense tingling in his hand. In that moment, his entire arm seemed to belong to someone else. Zhao Pei staggered back two steps from Lin Yi's sudden strike, nearly dropping the spear he held!
"Indeed, our arch-nemesis! With an Eight Star Level combat power, you can unleash nearly Ten Star Level strength!" Zhao Pei laughed heartily, his movements unaffected as he charged toward Lin Yi.
Meanwhile, David continued to call for help. Lin Yi felt a surge of urgency but found himself powerless to assist.
Just as Lin Yi's arm regained some sense of feeling, Zhao Pei's spear lunged forward, poised to pierce Lin Yi's skull.
Suddenly, a strange scene unfolded. An invisible wave seemed to emanate from Lin Yi's brow, continuously obstructing the dark spear. For a moment, the spear could not break through this unseen barrier.
In the next instant, the spear suddenly surged with force and stabbed forward. But soon, everyone realized that it had merely struck a phantom!
The real Lin Yi was positioned right behind Zhao Pei. With a fierce expression, he raised his single blade and swung downward with lethal intent. He was ready to cleave Zhao Pei in two!

The sound of metal scraping echoed as Lin Yi's strike failed to slice through Zhao Pei's body; instead, it glided down his head, sparking a long trail of fire!
"How is this possible!" Lin Yi thought he must be seeing things; this crystalline Silver Soul Battle Blade had never failed to cut through a Zombie's body before!
"Do you think Ten Star Level is merely an enhancement of strength? Ten Star Level signifies immortality; how could it be easily harmed?"
Zhao Pei slowly turned his head, his hollow gaze fixed on Lin Yi, devoid of any emotion! A sense of dread surged within Lin Yi as he realized the gravity of the situation!
At that moment, Lin Yi's feet pressed against the muddy ground, and he used the momentum to retreat a few steps before shouting, "Hei, now's your chance!"
Immediately, a dazzling blue light erupted from beneath Lin Yi's feet, propelling him into the air!
"You think you're the only one who can fly?" Just as Lin Yi accelerated in his War God Suit, a calm voice echoed in his ears.
Then Lin Yi saw Zhao Pei, who had somehow positioned himself right in front of him. No matter how he changed his trajectory, he couldn't shake off Zhao Pei's figure.
"It's only been two minutes; why are you in such a hurry?" Zhao Pei's form flickered unpredictably, making it difficult for Lin Yi to lock onto him accurately.
"I know you're stronger than I am, but if you don't kill me, don't stop me from leaving!" A fierce glint flashed in Lin Yi's eyes. He was well aware of Zhao Pei's strength, but he truly didn't understand why Zhao Pei was acting this way.
"Hahaha, old friend, I'm doing this for your own good. We're all just pawns in someone else's game; why are you so anxious?"
Lin Yi looked at Zhao Pei, feeling a mix of emotions. The old Zhao Pei was quiet and often just a listener. Now, his personality seemed to have changed significantly, even becoming somewhat arrogant.
"Hei, activate maximum speed!" Lin Yi decided not to hold back any longer and prepared to leave!
In the next moment, a nearly white flame suddenly erupted from beneath Lin Yi's feet, indicating that the temperature of the fire had reached a terrifying level.

A sharp sound sliced through the air as Lin Yi shot upwards like an arrow. In the blink of an eye, he vanished from sight, leaving only the piercing sound echoing in the sky!
Zhao Pei watched as Lin Yi left without any sign of panic. Instead, he floated calmly in mid-air, completely still.
"Sir, it... he seems to have stopped chasing us!" Black's detection ability was unable to accurately estimate the strength of a Zombie like Zhao Pei, let alone track his movements!
"Helmet cover!" Lin Yi felt the surrounding winds growing fiercer, the air becoming unusually thin, and the temperature dropping to a terrifying level!
Suddenly, a dazzling lightning bolt illuminated the sky, followed by a thunderous roar that shook the ground. In the blink of an eye, Lin Yi found himself at the cloud layer!
All around him, flashes of lightning flickered, and even the air was filled with fine sparks of electricity. Lin Yi felt as if he had plunged into an ocean of lightning, trapped with no way to advance or retreat!
"Sir, the energy here is too chaotic; Black can't hold on for long!"
Lin Yi heard Black's warning. This was a place where lightning energy rampaged; even the high-tech War God Suit felt fear in the face of nature's might.
"You run pretty fast, but do you think I would let you go so easily?"
Just as Lin Yi was preparing to retreat from the storm zone, a soft sigh echoed in his ear. Zhao Pei had actually used Psychic Power to transmit his words directly to Lin Yi!
In such high altitudes, transmitting through air was nearly impossible. Although Psychic Power was an intangible energy, its transmission could still be disrupted. The clarity of Zhao Pei's voice indicated that his control over Psychic Power had reached a terrifying level!
At that moment, Lin Yi's communicator crackled with static, and David's blurred face appeared. However, the chaotic energy in the storm zone interfered with the communicator's normal operation, and not a single word from David came through.
But Lin Yi could see clearly that behind David loomed an endless horde of Zombies, and their position was on the brink of collapse!
"Black, we're taking a risk!" Lin Yi shouted and leaped upward, diving straight into the clouds!
Zhao Pei's eyelid twitched. Though powerful, he instinctively feared lightning!
Without hesitation, Zhao Pei gritted his teeth and dove headfirst into the clouds. Just as he entered the misty depths, a thread-like energy swiftly approached, wrapping around him.
Zhao Pei's heart raced, and with a violent shudder, he managed to redirect that energy back into the clouds. However, he soon realized that his prized Psychic Power was severely disrupted within this cloud cover.
At that moment, he found himself unable to track Lin Yi's whereabouts, plunging him into a passive state.
Suddenly, Zhao Pei felt a chill run down his spine as a dangerous aura closed in! He quickly turned around to see two miniature missiles just a few meters away from him!
"Explode!" Zhao Pei shouted, unleashing his Psychic Power in a surge that detonated the nearby missile!
As soon as his voice faded, a swirling mass of black energy enveloped him completely.
The power of the miniature missiles was indeed formidable, but against Zhao Pei, who had long prepared his defenses, they merely blasted away the surrounding black energy.
The violent explosion scattered the dark clouds around him, revealing Zhao Pei's figure completely.
At that moment, Zhao Pei suddenly sensed an overwhelming pressure descending upon him. For the first time since reaching Star Level Ten, he felt the threat of death looming over him!
