Li Qiweng rubbed her temples, looking troubled. After a moment, she sighed and said, "My father is different from before; I feel he has ambition."
"It's normal for a man to have ambition; I have ambition too!" Lin Yi thought to himself that Li Qiweng was worrying too much. After all, how could Li Xianzong become president without a bit of ambition?

"Hello, I am Official Abu, responsible for receiving you all. Please take care!" said the Official who introduced himself as Abu while extending his hand covered in dirt.
Lin Yi extended his hand for a symbolic handshake and replied straightforwardly, "Lin Yi!"
This is not Lin Yi's arrogance; it’s just that this Official seemed to have not brushed his teeth in a long time, with a mouth full of yellow teeth emitting a foul, sour odor that was extremely unpleasant.
“Mr. Lin Yi, as a responsible official, I must introduce you to the situation here!” The Official then appeared to be lost in memories as he began his narration.
“It was about three years ago when my wife was about to give birth, and I was preparing to go find a doctor. After walking just a few steps, I saw a beggar squatting by the roadside, seemingly doing nothing.
As a responsible official, I certainly had to check on this person. To my surprise, when I got closer, I discovered that the beggar was actually eating meat!
Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to spit on your face.” Abu was a bit agitated and reached out to wipe Lin Yi's face with his hand, but he was stopped and gestured for Abu to continue.
Meanwhile, Lin Yi used the rain outside to wash away the saliva from his face, his expression becoming extremely stiff.

And those teeth—wow! They looked like they were polished from fine steel and were gleaming!
I was terrified at that moment, but I am a responsible official! I immediately started shouting and picked up a stone, smashing it at that Zombie, which made it flee! I don’t know how I found such courage back then, but three days later when I woke up, my wife had given birth to a big baby!”
“You fainted?” Lin Yi finally understood; it turned out this guy had been scared senseless by the Zombie.
"This could be the case, but it's not certain. I might have been knocked out by some means used by the Zombie! However, when I woke up, I just continued working. It was then that I realized that in just a short span of three days, the Zombie Virus had already spread to most parts of this island, and the situation on the neighboring island was also quite grim!" Abu felt a bit awkward but managed to maintain his composure.
Lin Yi signaled for the intelligence team accompanying him to immediately conduct an on-site investigation and establish the most basic information foundation.
"Then let me take you to our temporary Defense Center; there will be more detailed information waiting for you there!" Abu grinned, though his expression was somewhat strange. However, Lin Yi was only focused on resolving the Zombie issue quickly so he could return to Lion City!
Under Abu's guidance, Lin Yi led over a thousand soldiers in armored vehicles toward the temporary Defense Center located several kilometers away. It was only at this point that Lin Yi learned that the area truly controlled by the local government was a thirty-kilometer radius centered around the airport. The situation had suddenly become extremely severe; it seemed that the resurgence of Zombies this time was not going to be simple.
Upon arriving at the so-called Defense Center, Lin Yi understood why Congress had only approved him bringing a thousand troops. This pitiful Defense Center had even fewer total troops than Lin Yi did, and their weapons were incredibly rudimentary, with some primitive hunting rifles dating back hundreds of years! However, he was somewhat surprised by their combat power; both of the highest-ranking commanders here possessed Three-Star combat capabilities! Even so, against the tide of Zombies surging in, this level of strength truly meant little.
Lin Yi couldn't help but admire them; it was indeed no easy feat to hold a position with such weapons!
When these people saw the "elite" that Lin Yi brought, their previously pale faces regained some confidence. In just three days, nearly all of Zhiming Dingyi Island had fallen; there was no reason for them not to panic.

After careful analysis, Lin Yi felt a sense of worry; he discovered that at least two Eight-Star Combat Power Zombies were hiding among them!
