The overall score of the Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group always remained one level higher than Lin Yi's, even after they had slain ten Nine-Star Combat Power Zombies. However, it was still to no avail.
Lin Yi and his team had nearly exhausted all their energy to successfully take down those ten Nine-Star Combat Power Zombies! Now, Lin Yi had no trouble dealing with a few of them, but the other members—Li Qiweng, Sean, and Roman—could barely handle one each. It was impossible for them to rely solely on their strength to achieve the kills.
In the blink of an eye, only the final round of the Annual Mercenary King Competition remained, yet the overall score of the Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps was still lower than that of the Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group! However, thanks to Lin Yi and his team's desperate pursuit, their scores were now almost neck and neck. Yet, the Blood Envoy continued to hunt High-Level Zombies globally, always managing to obtain first-hand intelligence.
Jiao Jiao and her team had utilized nearly all available resources to gather information on High-Level Zombies. Jiao Jiao herself looked exhausted, her eyes bloodshot and her body noticeably thinner, as if a gust of wind could knock her over. Charlie was also tirelessly collecting intelligence, but unfortunately, Zombies had become conscious enough to realize that they couldn't match humans in using electronic devices and had abandoned electronic communication.
Later, Charlie used his hacking skills to secretly infiltrate Washington's intelligence system but nearly got blown to bits by Washington's Precision Strike Operation. If it hadn't been for Lin Yi being present at that moment, using his immense Psychic Power to alter the missile's trajectory, Charlie would likely have met his end.
Although Washington had significant objections, they did not want to disrupt the cooperative understanding between mercenaries and regular military forces. Moreover, Charlie's father was still the rotating Chairman of the Global Security Conference, which naturally led to a resolution.
Hai, Renesmee, and Lulu possessed massive destructive capabilities and also exerted themselves to kill Zombies. However, despite their formidable combat strength, it proved ineffective against High-Level Zombies.
The other male members were equally unwilling to back down; wherever there were Zombies, they charged in without hesitation, vowing not to turn back until every last one was eliminated!

Their main focus in the fourth quarter was killing in the Pacific Theater; however, there were far more mercenary groups in Asia than they had anticipated. Even entire underground forces had secretly formed alliances with a trend towards challenging the Mercenary Alliance.
While the Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps was indeed powerful, even strong dragons cannot overpower local snakes. The local armed hunters specializing in Zombie extermination held the latest information and cooperated closely with local governments! Naturally, these governments trusted their own people more; while they appeared respectful towards Lin Yi as an outsider on the surface, things were quite different behind closed doors.
Ultimately, Lin Yi became enraged by this situation. The Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps had originally been responsible for hunting High-Level Zombies but announced a three-day break! After three days passed, many mercenary groups suffered bloody retaliation from High-Level Zombies and were nearly wiped out!
Left with no choice, several defense zones requested Lin Yi's assistance. Having achieved his goals, Lin Yi saw no reason to hold grudges over such matters; he directly charged into Java Island—the most Zombie-infested area—and slaughtered millions of Zombies! The entire island ran red with blood; corpses piled high and a foul stench permeated nearby islands. This act shocked all of Southeast Asia; some began referring to Lin Yi as "Hell's Son"!
However, Lin Yi no longer cared about such negative labels; he knew he could not please everyone. Given the current circumstances, why not indulge in vengeance?
In the days that followed, Blood Envoy's operations became much smoother and their scores skyrocketed as they left second place far behind! Consequently, a saying spread throughout the mercenary world: where there is Blood Envoy, there is no business for other mercenaries! Of course, this was under the condition that Blood Envoy did not encounter the Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group. Some hopeful individuals even anticipated a peak showdown between these two mercenary factions and placed bets on it!
As Lin Yi secured first place in the Pacific Theater with absolute results, the fourth quarter of the Mercenary King competition came to an end. Yet still, like a deeply embedded virus, the Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group continued to provoke every member of the Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps.
At this final moment, Lin Yi and all the members were finally approved to assist Washington in exterminating the Zombies. Previously, Washington had not allowed large Mercenary groups to enter the North American Theater, viewing it as an armed invasion.
However, while Washington was indeed powerful, the combat strength of the Zombies here was also extremely formidable, with reports of Ten-Star Level super combat power Zombies frequently emerging! Many areas with weak defenses were breached, and even Washington's strongest Armed Forces found themselves somewhat stretched.

Among those who did reach Eight-Star Level were Lin Yi, Li Qiweng, Sean, Roman, and Pachy—who could unleash Eight-Star Combat Power with the War God Suit—along with Bai and the ever-silent Jian.
Once the team was organized, Lin Yi and his seven companions immediately entered their designated area in Florida! According to real-time updates from the positioning satellites, they swiftly eliminated ten Nine-Star Combat Power Zombies within just a few hours, finally catching up in points with the Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group!
The crucial question remained: could Lin Yi successfully slay that Ten-Star Combat Power Zombie? However, after scouring Florida for several hours without finding it, despite multiple satellite updates on its location, it seemed to have vanished just as they arrived.
Time ticked away, and when the final Death Knell rang out at dawn, Lin Yi's team finally gave up! Just then, news came from Jiao Jiao's side that the Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group had successfully slain a Ten-Star Combat Power Zombie!

The place was bustling with voices; today marked the award ceremony for the Mercenary King competition and recognition for those who made significant contributions during this Zombie disaster.
Lin Yi stood alone beneath the famous sculpture of intertwined guns, silent. Although final results had not yet been announced, there was no doubt that the Bloodthirsty Mercenary Group held first place. He was regarded as the Uncrowned King and Chairman Lin, basking in her glory as he stood beside that woman.
Second place in the Mercenary King competition did not carry nearly as much honor as first place. Lin Yi felt discontent but still attended; he wasn't sure why he came.
With only five minutes left before the conference began, Lin Yi hurried inside to find Li Qiweng anxiously waiting for him. This time, alongside their names on their seats were their respective numbers. It was Lin Yi's first time seeing his name alongside number 418 displayed in the Security Conference Hall.
