"Captain Lin, I promise I will do what I said, but I'm really busy right now and can't talk in detail!" Wang Zijun spoke rapidly, her words flying out like bullets, making it hard for Lin Yi to keep up.
"I just want to ask which airport I should land at!" The Sky Giant, a marvel of human engineering, was more than twice the size of past passenger planes. Naturally, it required a sufficiently large airport to land.
"Airport? What airport?" Wang Zijun asked in confusion.
"What do you mean? Did you think I came by boat? I arrived on a Giant Transporter Transmitter; of course, I need to find an airport to dock!" Lin Yi felt exasperated; Wang Zijun's handling of matters was utterly unreliable!
"Oh~~ I almost forgot to mention, right now Australia is swarming with zombies, so I'm not sure which airport is safe." Wang Zijun replied carelessly, completely ignoring Lin Yi's rising anger.
"Then where should I land?" The Giant Transporter was not cheap; any damage would make Lin Yi feel distressed.
"Just find any place to land!"

"Australia map!" Lin Yi shouted. The Intelligent System on the Giant Transporter quickly projected a three-dimensional map that hovered before him.
Lin Yi's fingers clicked rapidly in the void. The three-dimensional map displayed intermittently. However, whether looking from south to north or from north to south, Lin Yi still couldn't find a satisfactory location.
"Perhaps we can land in the desert area; it's sparsely populated. Even if there are Zombies, there won't be many," Li Qiweng suggested, pointing to the location in Western Australia while her gaze remained fixed on Lin Yi.
As Lin Yi's fiancée, Li Qiweng naturally supported him wholeheartedly, even if they occasionally bickered or had differing opinions.
"The location is good, but if we're going to hunt Zombies, we'll still have to search for them later! I don't know how reliable the energy supplies in Australia are; we can't take that risk," Lin Yi shook his head immediately. He wished he could land in the desert area, but the disadvantages outweighed the benefits.
"Then doesn't that mean we can only land in densely populated urban areas?" Bai frowned and stood up. He glanced at Jiao Jiao, who was responsible for intelligence work beside him, before returning to her task.
Bai's comment revealed his inner fear of Zombies. If they encountered a large-scale Zombie siege, it would be terrifying for them.
This sentiment echoed the thoughts of most people. Although their strength was far beyond that of ordinary humans, they still subconsciously feared the endless tide of Zombies.
"Not necessarily. If it comes to that, we can spend some Contribution Points and request a detailed Zombie distribution map of Australia from Washington!"
Recently, Washington had significantly improved the resolution and processing speed of their monitoring satellites, allowing them to scan Zombie distributions almost instantaneously. Lin Yi remembered this when he thought of the latest results Jiao Jiao had provided regarding combating Zombies.
"But is there enough time now? We don't have the authority to contact the Washington operations center; it's not something people like us can just reach out to!" Jiao Jiao interjected, fully aware of the communication protocols.
"What about the Mercenary Alliance headquarters? Jiao Jiao, get me Cook; I believe he has a way!" Lin Yi looked at the aircraft that had already covered half the distance; they would soon enter Australian airspace!
"Good idea! I'll contact Chairman Cook right away!" Jiao Jiao whistled and quickly tapped on her device. In no time, she established a connection.
"Lin Steward! It's been months since we last spoke; what brings you to contact me now?" Cook's mood was excellent as the European Theater continued to achieve victory after victory.
"Chairman Cook, we're about to head into the Australia War Zone, but we're unclear about the situation there. I hope the Alliance can provide us with a high-definition Zombie distribution map!" Lin Yi spoke rapidly without any hesitation.
"As far as I know, the best high-definition maps are with Washington; we'll need to contact them," Cook replied hesitantly. They couldn't just reach out whenever they wanted.
"I know, so I ask the Alliance to help. As for the costs, I believe I can still bear them!" Lin Yi noticed Cook's hesitation and understood that the situation was complicated.
"Alright, I'll take charge and contact them for you this time. However, let's forget about the expenses; consider this a benefit for your promotion!" Cook sighed, clearly aware that this matter was quite tricky.
"Promotion? What do you mean?" Lin Yi was taken aback, still trying to grasp what was happening.
"Hahaha, Lin Steward, you're about to be promoted to Vice Chairman! Although it's just as the Fifth Speaker, you'll be the youngest Vice Chairman in the history of the Mercenary Alliance!" Cook's voice boomed like thunder, even through the communicator, it was enough to make one's eardrums ache.
"I'm going to be Vice Chairman?" Lin Yi had heard about it from Wang Zijun but thought it was just a rumor; he never expected it to be true!
"Yes, the voting results from all major battle zones have come in and are currently under final review. As long as they don't change their minds, your position as Vice Chairman is almost guaranteed!" Cook's voice took on a more serious tone. "Thanks to Speaker Wang from Australia for her strong support; otherwise, your position as Fifth Speaker wouldn't be so secure!"
Hearing this, Lin Yi felt a surge of gratitude towards Wang Zijun; he hadn't expected her words would come true so quickly.
"I owe my current position entirely to everyone's help. I won't say much more; everything will depend on my performance!" Lin Yi looked around at the members present, feeling a wave of emotions. Who would have thought he would reach such a status?
"Then I won't disturb you any longer. I'll contact Washington right away to get you a high-definition map!" Cook said before immediately hanging up the communicator.
In less than five minutes, Lin Yi received a high-definition map showing the distribution of Zombies. According to the map, there were indeed large concentrations of Zombies in Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney. Additionally, there were numerous marine biohazards surrounding these areas, posing a significant threat to the entire Eastern African Coastline.
Lin Yi and the others studied the map carefully and ultimately decided on Kosiasku Mountain as their destination. The terrain there was elevated, making it unnecessary for Zombies to occupy that area in the short term.
After adjusting the navigation system, the transport aircraft sped up slightly, with the fuselage trembling faintly. Lin Yi urged everyone to take this time to rest well in preparation for the imminent battle.
Half an hour later, an ear-piercing alarm suddenly blared from the transport aircraft—an alert indicating an enemy attack!
"Bad news, Lin Yi! There are large numbers of Undead Birds outside trying to surround us!" Pachy, who was now piloting Sky Giant, was the first to notice the situation.
"Don't worry about them; just push through!" Lin Yi assessed the situation. The Transmitter had already passed through the stratosphere and descended to an altitude of ten thousand meters.
"No, these are not ordinary Undead Birds!" Pachy frowned, realizing that one of the Undead Birds was almost matching the speed of the Transmitter. Such speed was beyond what a normal Undead Bird could achieve!
"In that case, fire at full power!" Lin Yi's figure flickered as he moved directly to the cockpit, where a Holographic Screen allowed for a comprehensive view of the real-time situation outside.
Pachy nodded and immediately began activating Weapon Miracle! The screen erupted with beams of crimson light, shooting towards the nearby swarm of Undead Birds!
But at that moment, a strange scene unfolded; several large Undead Birds suddenly vanished from the surveillance feed.
In the brief moment Lin Yi was stunned, the Undead Birds had already flown several kilometers and were about to collide with the Transmitter!
"Dodge now!" Lin Yi shouted, wishing he could take control of the Transmitter himself!
Pachy's skills were no less impressive. Just as Lin Yi's words fell, he swiftly maneuvered the Transmitter to change direction! Lin Yi saw a massive winged shadow zip past on the screen.
"Whoa—" Lin Yi sighed in relief; they had managed to evade it!
Suddenly, the entire craft seemed to collide with something, shaking violently! The cabin was filled with blaring alarms, the piercing sound jarring everyone's nerves.
"Not good! The engine has ingested foreign objects!" Pachy glanced at the real-time fault display and shouted.
