The situation suddenly became exceptionally dire, and helplessly, there seemed to be no power coming to support them at this moment. Lin Yi's Psychic Power had already spread over the territory of two other military camps, where the Zombie Army was not only numerous but also formidable! However, there were powerful Laser Cannons within the camps. Although Lin Yi preferred to enhance his personal combat strength, he had to admit that improving the team's overall power through weaponry was essential.
"I'll handle the Dragon Whale in the middle. Wen and Sean will deal with the one on the left. Roman, you, Pachy, Jian, and Renesmee take on that multi-legged monster!" Lin Yi pointed at the Giant Squid, which was wildly waving its tentacles; he had a particular disdain for such creatures.
At that moment, the Zombie Army wasted no time and began spewing jets of water, instantly collapsing the low Quarantine Wall.
A swarm of marine creatures started crawling over, and the automated weapons responsible for guarding were unable to accurately lock onto these Corrupted Creatures for a moment, causing several rounds of bullets to rain down on empty ground!
Charlie, in charge of monitoring the weapons, quickly adjusted their attack direction. Eventually, all automated weapons concentrated their fire on one spot to eliminate those Corrupted Creatures attempting to charge forward. The remaining Mercenaries were ready and began firing Laser Beams under their respective leaders' guidance!
"Gagagaga—" The Corpseification creatures shrieked sharply, waving limbs of varying lengths in an attempt to break through the layers of defense!
Although the Corpseification creatures were reckless and fearless in battle, under the concentrated firepower, most were reduced to piles of oozing corpses. These Undead Creatures had such low combat effectiveness that they often served merely to exhaust the enemy's weapons and energy rather than pose a real threat. The true decisive battle would only reveal who the ultimate victor was when High-Level Combat Power determined the outcome!
At this moment, Lin Yi, utilizing his War God Suit, had floated into mid-air. However, the Dragon Whale seemed completely unconcerned about him and continued to unleash jets of water to clear a path for its Corrupted Creatures!
Several unsuspecting Mercenaries were struck by debris scattered by the water jets and immediately spat blood as they were knocked back!
Aik led the Medical Team as they continuously moved through the battlefield, transporting injured Mercenaries back to the camp. As for those infected with the Zombie Virus, if there was still hope for them, they would receive immediate Serum injections for rescue. Unfortunately, if those who had undergone Corpseification could not be saved due to insufficient aid, they would have to be dealt with by their companions.
Seeing that the Corpseification Dragon Whale completely ignored his actions, Lin Yi gathered all his strength and struck down with a blade on its back!
Compared to the Dragon Whale's massive body stretching over ten meters long, Lin Yi's blade was less than three meters long. Although it sliced through the Dragon Whale's outer skin, the damage inflicted was minimal.
However, this enraged the Dragon Whale; in its eyes, how could such a tiny human harm it?
A water jet as thick as an adult's thigh shot up from the Dragon Whale's back with incredible speed. Even though Lin Yi sensed danger, he barely managed to dodge just a few steps away!
At that moment, a bizarre scene unfolded; the water jet in mid-air seemed to be controlled by some mysterious force and abruptly changed direction mid-flight!
Though its power diminished after turning, being struck by it still felt unpleasant!
"Sir, hold steady!" As Lin Yi instinctively tried to evade, Black had already reacted. At that moment, a stream of azure energy burst from beneath Lin Yi's feet, propelling him higher just as the water column was about to strike him.
The advantage of the War God Suit was that it granted Lin Yi the ability to multitask, while the Intelligent System assisted him in dealing with crises and resolving them!
After the Dragon Whale had just knocked Lin Yi back, it suddenly opened its mouth wide, revealing rows of sharp teeth that were truly terrifying.
"Sir, based on my analysis, it's going to use the Whale Swallowing Water!" Black's voice echoed in Lin Yi's ear, its knowledge far more comprehensive than Lin Yi's.
"What is that…"
"Roar—" Before Lin Yi could finish his question, the Dragon Whale let out a long howl, and he immediately felt a tremendous energy being released from its massive mouth.
A colossal suction force erupted from the Dragon Whale's mouth, pulling everything on the ground—whether it was rubble or various Corrupted Creatures, even Mercenaries—toward it. Lin Yi felt an overwhelming suction acting on him, rendering his body uncontrollable!
"Be careful! Hold together!" Lin Yi shouted, but it was clearly too late. Many types of Corrupted Creatures were being drawn into the Dragon Whale's mouth.
The Mercenaries quickly withdrew their blades and plunged them into the ground to stabilize themselves. However, this meant that even if they weren't sucked into the Dragon Whale's mouth, they had almost no combat capability left!
The Mercenaries equipped with the War God Suit managed to escape the suction range after several bursts of speed. But those still struggling within were in dire straits; deep gashes had been carved into the ground beneath them!
"What do we do? What do we do?" Lin Yi's mind raced as he realized that within just a few seconds, he had been rendered powerless against this Dragon Whale.
The Dragon Whale continued to devour other bio-organisms, its power surging as its wounds healed rapidly. The damage inflicted by Lin Yi moments ago was nearly invisible now!
In desperation, Lin Yi fired Laser Beams about the thickness of two fingers from his arms and legs toward the Dragon Whale. However, these beams, which could deal fatal blows to ordinary Zombies, seemed like mere tickles to the Dragon Whale!
Having feasted well, the Dragon Whale paid no heed to these attacks and let out another long roar. A massive jet of water shot forth. The dozens of Mercenaries who had been desperately resisting the suction were caught off guard; just as they stood up, they were directly struck by the water column. What appeared to be a soft and feeble spray carried the force of a heavy hammer and instantly sent them reeling back, causing them to vomit blood!
Dozens of Mercenaries were hit in succession, and the momentum of the water column showed no signs of diminishing; it crashed straight through the sturdy military camp gate!
Lin Yi gritted his teeth and, with a sudden movement, darted behind the massive door. With a sweeping kick, he sent the door flying into the air. His kick appeared effortless, yet he felt a tingling sensation in his toes.
"Sir, the defense is breached from within!" Black suddenly interjected, catching Lin Yi off guard.
However, those words sparked a realization in Lin Yi. His expression shifted as blue flames erupted from his feet, propelling him directly toward the gaping maw of the colossal Dragon Whale.
"Yi, what are you doing?" Li Qiweng was the first to notice that Lin Yi was heading in the wrong direction; he was charging straight into the Dragon Whale's mouth, which was akin to walking into a lion's den!
"Don't worry about me!" In the next moment, Lin Yi had already plunged into the Dragon Whale's mouth.
The Dragon's Roar revealed its bewildered eyes. Before it could react, the Dragon Whale shook its head violently in an attempt to throw Lin Yi out!
Having entered, Lin Yi had no intention of leaving easily!
Inside the dark belly of the Dragon Whale, a pungent stench of fish mixed with a unique odor of decay assaulted Lin Yi's nostrils. He held his breath; with his current physical strength, he could go several minutes without breathing without issue.
"Sir, according to calculations, four micro Missiles have enough power to blast a large hole in Lin Yi's belly. At that point, it will lose its ability to shoot jets of water!"
Lin Yi and Black worked seamlessly together; it was difficult to eliminate this giant beast with a single attack in such a short time. Thus, they had to take a risky approach for a decisive strike!
With a series of hissing sounds, four intelligent micro Missiles detached from Lin Yi's War God Suit, their tails spewing orange flames as they shot off in different directions toward the Giant Whale's belly!
In the next moment, Lin Yi turned to escape through the Giant Whale's mouth but was shocked to find that it had closed its jaws at some point!
"Slash!" Under the pressure of the confined space, Lin Yi unleashed a dazzling Blade Qi aimed at the Giant Whale's teeth!
A grinding sound echoed as the Giant Whale's mouth remained tightly shut; not even its teeth showed any signs of damage!
"This is bad! The Giant Whale's teeth are too hard!" A jolt ran through Lin Yi; these Corpseified beasts always had some particularly formidable traits.
"Sir, charge straight out from its head!" Black suggested at that moment, unwilling to perish in the belly of a fish just after regaining its intelligence.
"Alright, Black, help me increase the rotation speed!"
As soon as Lin Yi's voice fell, the two Silver Soul Battle Blades crossed each other, producing a sharp sound of clashing metal.
"Are you ready?" Black's voice rang out.
"Start!"
Immediately, a miraculous scene unfolded. Lin Yi's figure spun around, and the War God Suit emitted a stream of white energy. Lin Yi's body began to rotate at an incredible speed, rising upward like a top!
"Shh—" The tip of Lin Yi's blade made contact with the inner wall of Dragon's Roar's mouth, and it quickly carved out a massive hole nearly a meter in diameter as if it were a meat grinder!
"Roar—" The Giant Whale sensed danger and let out a piercing scream.
At this moment, Lin Yi paid no mind to anything else. The War God Suit operated at full speed, blue flames erupting from his feet as he drilled toward the top of the Giant Whale's head at a terrifying velocity!
For over ten seconds, the Giant Whale continued to shriek in despair.
Then, with a sharp sound, a figure burst forth from the top of the Giant Whale's head!
