The reunion with an old friend always brings a warm sense of nostalgia. Lin Yi never expected to meet Jimmy in such a way, and for a moment, he didn't even realize that the newcomer was Jimmy.
Jimmy had lost quite a bit of weight, likely due to the hardships he endured to improve his strength. What surprised Lin Yi even more was that Jimmy's short leg had healed; he stood before him like a normal person.
"What kind of prosthetic leg did you get?" Lin Yi asked, astonished, pointing at Jimmy's leg.
Jimmy rolled up his pant leg to reveal a dark prosthetic that matched his skin tone. "This is a high-fidelity prosthesis given to me by Mr. Coffey, and it has some remarkable features inside," he said with a mysterious smile, choosing not to elaborate further.
"Let's act during their celebration tonight, but keep it low-key," Kofi presented Lin Yi with another dilemma. He wasn't a god; how could he control such a powerful group of Armed Forces?
"Captain, don't worry too much. They won't be wearing Mechanical Armor to the celebration. Mr. Coffey organized this commendation event to make our actions easier, so they won't suspect that their scheme has been uncovered by him," Jimmy said respectfully from outside the door, his gaze fixed on Kofi.
Lin Yi narrowed his eyes and glanced back at Kofi, who was half-asleep in the rocking chair. A sense of unease crept into his heart. This situation felt off! He had never agreed to help Kofi eliminate the Iron Wolf Brigade, yet now he found himself being led step by step into resolving this traitor's issue!
"But I don't recall agreeing to help you with this problem," Lin Yi said as his Psychic Power began to stir in his mind. He suspected he had unintentionally fallen under the influence of an Ability similar to Jerry's.
Kofi suddenly opened his eyes and stared silently at Lin Yi. Lin Yi stood rigidly in place; he didn't want to be used as cannon fodder again.
"Very well, then let's settle this at Zombie's price!" Kofi suddenly smiled strangely, transforming back into a kindly old man.
"Captain, Mr. Coffey has sacrificed a lot for this country, so please lend a hand. I know your strength is formidable; solving this problem won't take much time," Jimmy interjected anxiously, his eyes betraying a hint of reproach.
"Mr. Coffey, I respect you and hope you can grant us the freedom to express our true thoughts," Jimmy's demeanor suggested he regarded Kofi as almost divine, which naturally displeased Lin Yi.
Kofi nodded and asked, "So what does Mr. Lin mean?"
"I agree, but I reserve the right to change my mind!" Although reluctant to help, Lin Yi sensed that Kofi seemed to rely on him, so he acquiesced. After all, traitors deserved no mercy!
"Everything will follow Captain Lin's orders," Kofi said as he leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes.
Lin Yi understood that Kofi intended to rest and slightly bowed before saying softly, "I'll take my leave now."

Li Qiweng was still waiting outside. When she saw Jimmy, she was momentarily stunned, but then her expression changed to one of disbelief as she hurriedly asked him about his situation.
Seeing that Lin Yi had agreed to this operation, Jimmy felt elated and began to recount how he had spent the past year and more without holding back.
Since Lin Yi's departure, Slo had been able to take good care of Jimmy. However, Slo was also very busy and often had things he couldn't attend to. Then one day, Slo suddenly told Jimmy that he had joined the Iron Wolf Brigade and that his combat power had rapidly increased, breaking through the limits of an ordinary person to reach Star-Level Combat Power. At that moment, Jimmy began to realize another level of human strength; he understood that even ten perfect versions of himself might not be able to match Slo now.
Later, at Jimmy's request, Slo revealed the secret behind his enhanced combat power. By this time, Slo had already joined a combat unit, and after each mission, he would receive a type of drug designed to unlock potential. This drug, combined with training, could significantly boost one's combat abilities in a short period. After continuously taking three doses of this potential-enhancing drug, Slo finally broke through his previous limitations and reached Star-Level combat standards. Although it was just Star-Level, it was a realm that ordinary people could hardly aspire to!
After enduring the torment of his short legs, Jimmy's yearning for power grew even stronger. However, he could only purchase the Potential-Enhancing Drug from the black market. The drugs there mainly came from the military, and not everyone could withstand the pain and intense training that accompanied them. Jimmy nearly exhausted all his resources to continue using the drugs and began training.
Strangely enough, the process of taking the drugs, which should have been very painful, was not so for Jimmy. Moreover, while Slo struggled to improve his strength after reaching Star-Level Combat Power, Jimmy quickly broke through to Two-Star combat power after surpassing Star-Level!
At that moment, Kofi sent someone to find Jimmy and tailored a prosthetic limb suitable for him. For the past few months, Jimmy had been staying close to Kofi and undergoing further training until last night when his actual combat power reached Three-Star! The prosthetic limb he received was no ordinary prosthetic; it enhanced Jimmy's abilities.
As he reached this point in his story, Jimmy paused for effect before shifting the conversation to discuss tonight's operation. Kofi had long had plans for tonight but waited until Lin Yi arrived before implementing them. With Lin Yi's help, they aimed to swiftly eliminate the entire Iron Wolf Brigade. Of course, Lin Yi would primarily be responsible for dealing with several skilled fighters while the remaining personnel would be executed under Jimmy's command from the five-thousand-strong Gendarmerie.
As night fell quickly, Lin Yi decided that he would carry out this operation alone. However, Li Qiweng strongly disagreed. They eventually agreed that Lin Yi would strike first; if there were any survivors left behind, Li Qiweng would take action afterward. Meanwhile, Jimmy would lead the Gendarmerie to execute relevant orders as soon as Lin Yi made his move. Although he still referred to Lin Yi as Captain, it was clear that he had decided to serve Kofi instead. Lin Yi felt a twinge of regret but refrained from saying anything to persuade him otherwise; after all, he wasn't someone truly worth following—just an ordinary person without anyone needing to follow him wholeheartedly.
With a sense of loss lingering in his heart, Lin Yi and Li Qiweng arrived at the Iron Wolf Brigade's base. What should have been a quiet encampment had transformed into a sea of joy; everyone gathered in the training area around bonfires, feasting on rare meat and enjoying bottles of alcohol.
The air was filled with raucous heavy metal music as everyone reveled in a festive atmosphere. Lin Yi even wondered if he had taken a wrong turn until he spotted Paul laughing heartily with several officers while drinking. It was then that Lin Yi confirmed he was indeed in the right place—only now he was a killer who needed to eliminate some of the strongest individuals there. Besides Paul, those officers surrounding him were also targets for tonight's mission.
The officers were merely Two-Star Combat Power level; even though Paul possessed Seven-Star Level strength, Lin Yi wasn't intimidated—he was confident he could take them down within ten seconds.
With unwavering confidence, Lin Yi approached Paul step by step. As he drew closer, an increasingly menacing aura emanated from him, causing those around him to instinctively part ways.
Paul noticed Lin Yi approaching and greeted him with a smile; however, since Lin Yi intended to kill him, there was no way he would respond.
Seconds later, Paul's expression turned ashen as those around them involuntarily halted their activities. Time seemed to freeze for a moment; only Lin Yi continued moving forward step by step.
"Do you surrender or die?" Lin Yi did not use his mental power to control Silver Soul; instead, he slowly drew the Silver Soul blade with one hand. He intended to sever these people's necks with a single strike, leaving no room for error.
"Why not join us?" Paul's face turned even paler. Knowing Lin Yi's strength, he attempted to persuade him.
"Not interested." Lin Yi narrowed his eyes, already prepared to act.
"Isn't ruling the entire world of any interest to you?" Paul's eyes began to redden, his emotions escalating.
"Not interested." Lin Yi's tone had grown cold to the extreme; he did not wish to waste more words on a dying traitor.
"You arrogant fool! Kill him!" Paul waved his hand, signaling the officers to attack, but they remained motionless.
The officers were all Two-Star combatants. Although they seemed incredibly powerful and fast in front of ordinary people, to Lin Yi, they appeared laughable. Their movements were so slow that it looked like they were moving in slow motion; he could sense their impatience.
"Thud! Thud! Thud!" In a flash, Lin Yi moved, and with a bizarre speed, the Silver Soul blade sliced horizontally three times, severing the necks of four individuals. For the final strike, he infused a bit of Blade Qi and directly cut through two more necks.
The officers' faces still bore the furious expressions from before their attack, but in the next moment, four heads fell with a thud from their bodies, rolling on the ground.
"Splatter!" Blood began to spray from the headless corpses like a horrific fountain of blood from hell.
