"Help me, man!" A young Blue-Eyed Man inside the Golden Sports Car looked at Lin Yi and Beatrice with a face full of panic, not even considering how the two had suddenly appeared in this place in the middle of the night. 0

Lin Yi glanced at the man, nodded, and then raised his knife to slash at the approaching Giant Zombie! 0

"Swish!" Lin Yi had already optimized his state, and at that moment, his actions reached their peak. The Giant Zombie that would have taken several rounds to kill was struck down in one swift blow by Lin Yi's lightning-fast movements. 0

As the head of the Giant Zombie rolled and turned on the ground, Lin Yi was already charging toward another Giant Zombie. He had quickly assessed that while there were many Zombies on the Highway, most of them were ordinary types. This made it feel like a walk in the park for Lin Yi; ordinary Zombies didn't even have time to approach him before being cleaved in half. 0

At this moment, Lin Yi felt a pent-up rage in his chest, stemming from his inability to unleash himself fully until now. Although his Mercenary team's combat power was impressive, he had always held back, considering the safety of his teammates. This time, he suggested going out with Beatrice to slay Zombies as a way to vent his frustrations. 0

"Thud! Thud! Thud!" 0

Lin Yi's wrist danced lightly as the Silver Soul shimmered like a massive silver ribbon. However, for the Zombies, these silver ribbons were their worst nightmare; wherever they passed, Zombie heads fell like watermelons hitting the ground. 0

From a distance, Lin Yi resembled a dancer moving gracefully through a forest, wielding silver ribbons as he navigated through the horde of Zombies. Perhaps due to practice making perfect, Lin Yi felt that Silver Soul was becoming increasingly attuned to his body; using it felt as natural as extending his fingers. He could even sense the blade slicing through a Zombie's neck. 0

As Lin Yi plunged into the heart of the Zombie horde, he had already killed over a hundred Zombies in just a matter of seconds. Jian was no longer merely shocked; she had previously been skeptical when her subordinate told her about Lin Yi's prowess. After all, she had never witnessed him wielding five blades to turn Zombie Beasts into a shower of blood. 0

But now it seemed undeniable that Lin Yi's combat ability had reached a terrifying level—perhaps rivaling that of her former superior Bruh. Strong individuals have always attracted followers throughout history, and at this moment, Lin Yi might not have realized that someone had silently resolved to follow him as he displayed his might. 0

"Hah!" Jian was also a formidable woman; after letting out a loud shout, she charged into the Zombie horde with a sharp blade in hand. However, her blade was quite slender—only about an inch wide. Yet in Jian's hands, this narrow blade unleashed tremendous power; around her, there were sounds of air being sliced apart as those Zombies were no match for her. 0

"Old Black, don’t embarrass me or the Golden Mercenary Corps!" Although Beatrice referred to Old Black as merely Five-Star level combat power, he could barely keep up with her speed. At this moment when Lin Yi had just rushed out, Beatrice also took a moment to remind Old Black. 0

Old Black was truly dark, blending into the shadows beneath the dim streetlights in his black Combat Suit, almost lacking any presence. However, upon hearing Beatrice's words, he charged into the horde of Zombies. Strangely, as soon as Old Black entered the throng, it seemed as if he vanished. Yet, with each flash of black steel, a Zombie's head would fall to the ground. A closer look revealed that Old Black remained mostly hidden in the darkness, striking ruthlessly with precise slashes aimed directly at the Zombies' necks, showing no hesitation. After each strike, he swiftly moved on to his next target. Though he couldn't match Lin Yi's ferocious killing speed, he still left ordinary people in awe. 0

Beatrice was naturally not any slower than Lin Yi. Before Old Black even reached the Zombies, she had already positioned herself behind Lin Yi. Watching Lin Yi wielding dual blades and effortlessly slaying ten Zombies in one round astonished her. But since she had boasted earlier, Beatrice was not one to take things lightly. 0

Under the dim yellow light of the streetlamp, Beatrice let out a loud shout, and a bizarre scene unfolded. The originally average-height Beatrice suddenly surged in size; within mere seconds, she had expanded significantly. Remarkably, her specially designed Combat Suit did not tear; instead, Beatrice now stood nearly two meters tall, her arms as thick as an average person's thighs. She appeared inflated and radiated an overwhelming aura that suggested she could shake the earth with her fury. 0

In the next moment, Beatrice drew her elbows close and then lunged forward like a Soaring Dragon, delivering a powerful punch to the Zombies lunging at her from both sides. 0

"Bang! Bang!" The explosive sounds rang out simultaneously as two Zombie heads shattered like broken glass balls. However, this display of strength was still far from matching Lin Yi's efficiency; even Old Black surpassed her in speed. 0

But then came an exhilarating sight: although the shattered Zombie heads were in pieces, they shot backward in a straight line due to the immense force. The impact caused several Zombies behind them to be struck down—seven or eight were directly obliterated by flying skull fragments, while dozens more were left missing limbs or half their faces. 0

Although Beatrice's strike did not have the same immediate effect as Lin Yi's, it was actually slightly more powerful. Her seemingly ordinary punches unleashed an invisible force upon impact with the Zombie heads that magnified their destructive power; instead of scattering outward, most of the debris shot forward. Consequently, those fragments became lethal projectiles under Beatrice's tremendous strength. 0

Lin Yi felt a surge of violent energy erupt around him and nearly fled in panic. But upon realizing it was Beatrice, he calmed down slightly; however, her transformed appearance was terrifyingly fierce. He witnessed her single blow take down eight Zombies and severely injure several others—an achievement beyond his capabilities. In the next moment, Beatrice charged into the horde of Zombies; those unfortunate enough to be caught by her were crushed underfoot without a chance for survival. With both hands and feet working together, she had already eliminated as many Zombies as Lin Yi did with his single strike but could also incapacitate dozens more with each attack. 0

Among strong individuals, it was all about determination. Although Lin Yi had only recently become a leader, he instinctively wanted to surpass other Mercenaries. 0

"Let's do this!" Lin Yi gritted his teeth and decided to use his Psychic Power to control Silver Soul for faster strikes. Even though his speed was impressive, it could never match the lightning-fast movements of Silver Soul under psychic control. However, Lin Yi felt dizzy from continuously depleting his Psychic Power; although he had recovered somewhat, there was still a lingering sensation of lightheadedness in his mind. 0

With blades in hand, Lin Yi resolved to take down a few more Zombies! 0

"Swish!" Lin Yi swung both blades at an approaching Zombie; while decapitating them would be quicker, he found splitting one from head to toe gave him an exhilarating sense of speed. 0

With a single slash, Lin Yi raised an eyebrow and blinked rapidly, doubting his own eyes. Just moments ago, he had thought he had cleaved two Zombies in half, but it turned out he had taken down a total of nine! What was going on? Was he seeing things? 0

There was no time for hesitation on the battlefield. Although Lin Yi had just killed nine Zombies in one go, more were quickly surging toward him. He had to swing his blade again, but this time he was more cautious. He channeled his Psychic Power into the Silver Soul. 0

As he struck down, Lin Yi distinctly felt an invisible yet sharp force emanating from the tip of his blade. This force possessed a cutting edge akin to that of the Silver Soul itself, slicing through the approaching Zombies and cleaving them in half. 0

What was this? Where did this invisible power come from? While Lin Yi felt elated, he still couldn't comprehend when this power had manifested. 0

“Hahaha!” In the midst of a horde of Zombies, Lin Yi couldn't afford to ponder too much. He wildly swung his dual blades, each strike resulting in seven or eight Zombies being split apart. However, the time it took to kill them was significantly less than when he had taken down ten Zombies earlier. His killing speed had more than doubled, reaching over twenty kills in no time. 0

Watching the invisible force continuously eliminate the Zombies, Lin Yi couldn't help but feel a surge of joy. This invisible weapon emitted from the Silver Soul could be aptly named Blade Qi! 0

In his triumph, Lin Yi paid no mind to Beatrice's increasingly grim expression. With Blade Qi at work, a wide area around him quickly cleared of Zombies. They didn't even need him to get close; they were simply cut down from afar. Initially intending to vent his frustrations by slaughtering some foes, he never expected such unexpected gains. 0

However, Lin Yi soon realized that the power within him was depleting at an alarming rate. If this continued, it wouldn't be long before he exhausted all his strength. 0
