Lin Yi habitually released his mental energy. After consulting Douglas a few times in private, he was becoming increasingly adept at using it. Through his mental perception, Lin Yi quickly discovered that a group of Zombies was approaching from a hundred meters away, and they were all ordinary Zombies. He couldn't pinpoint the exact number at the moment, but he was sure it wasn't too many; otherwise, the overwhelming aura would have been enough for him to sense. 0

The speed of Bullet Head was undeniable. Just as Lin Yi detected the group of Zombies, the convoy had already closed in on them. The outside world was filled with the sounds of growls and roars, just waiting for a command to turn the approaching Zombies into a pile of dismembered limbs. 0

Suddenly, Lone Wolf turned to Lin Yi with a bloodthirsty grin and said, "How about we go out and compete to see who can kill more Zombies?" 0

Lin Yi was taken aback at first, then surprisedly asked, "Just the two of us?" 0

Lone Wolf nodded. "I'm not one to team up with just anyone. I've heard some rumors about your combat abilities, so I want to see if they're true." 0

"Sure!" Lin Yi was about to decline when he caught a glimpse of Ying Sa out of the corner of his eye, and it felt as if something had pricked his heart, igniting an uncontrollable impulse. 0

"Haha, good! I admire that fearless spirit!" Lone Wolf laughed a few times before issuing a command through the vehicle's video system, "Defensive Formation!" This operation was still under Lone Wolf's command since half of the team belonged to him. 0

Dozens of Bulletproof Transport Vehicles quickly adjusted their formation. The vehicles equipped with artillery were responsible for defending against the outer Zombies while the remaining vehicles stopped within their protective circle and deployed low-flying drones for early warning. Although it was their first collaboration, under Lone Wolf's continuous commands, they didn't appear flustered. 0

When everything was ready, the Zombies finally encountered the convoy. Lin Yi confidently stepped out of the convoy with two Silver Souls in hand, followed closely by Lone Wolf. 0

The air outside carried a hint of tension; the dry air filled his nostrils like choking smoke, making his throat itch slightly. Lin Yi swallowed hard and glanced at Lone Wolf. Lone Wolf's gear was even simpler than Lin Yi's—just a knife about one meter long, with a handle that took up nearly a third of its length. 0

Lone Wolf gripped the knife tightly and made a chopping motion forward as if testing its balance. Lin Yi's physical abilities had been enhanced to an astonishing level, so he could feel the terrifying power emanating from Lone Wolf's blade as he tested it. 0

Suddenly, Lone Wolf transformed into a blur and sprinted ahead at an incredible speed that pushed the limits of human observation. 0

Lin Yi sighed inwardly; this Lone Wolf didn't seem like an ordinary person—his speed had reached such extremes. In the next moment, Lin Yi also became a blur, closely following behind. 0

The familiar bloodthirsty frenzy surged back into Lin Yi's body instantly. The decaying Zombies before him no longer seemed so terrifying. At this moment, all Lin Yi wanted to do was kill—eradicate all evil! 0

"Kill!" Although Lin Yi's speed was impressive, it still couldn't match the swiftness of the Silver Soul controlled by his mental power. 0

With a thunderous shout, the two Silver Soul blades behind him shot out like two dragons emerging from the river, accompanied by a sharp metallic screech that echoed through the air, hinting at a sonic boom. 0

"Whoosh!" The two Silver Souls surged forward with unmatched momentum toward the nearest Zombie, their speed surpassing that of the already advancing Lone Wolf. 0

"Slice!" 0

"Swish!" 0

"Swish!" 0

After three sounds of blades clashing with flesh and bone, the three Zombies at the front had their heads severed cleanly. 0

Lone Wolf, who had just arrived, felt a flash of intensity in his eyes. With a flick of his wrist, a dazzling arc of light appeared before him as he wielded his knife. He was taken aback by the opponent's technique; this method of killing was something he had never seen before. However, having navigated the line between life and death for years, he quickly regained his composure. 0

In the next moment, Lone Wolf's long knife surged forward, slicing through an approaching Zombie with precision. 0

"Thud!" The seemingly casual strike from Lone Wolf cleaved the Zombie in half at the head. Its still-rotting insides splattered across the dusty ground, releasing a foul stench that permeated the air. 0

Lin Yi happened to witness this scene, but for him, achieving such feats was all too easy. 0

"Whoosh!" The two flying Silver Souls were summoned back by Lin Yi. While using mental power to slay these A-Type Zombies was indeed swift, nothing compared to the satisfaction of killing up close with his own hands. 0

Seeing Lin Yi had arrived, Lone Wolf wasted no time. He spun like a top around the nearby Zombies. As he moved away from them, several heads rolled to the ground, tumbling in disarray. 0

“Puff puff puff!” Like the most monotonous symphony, Lin Yi felt the light flickering at the corner of his eye, and then those withered black claws of the Zombies trying to devour flesh were severed by Lone Wolf's blade. 0

“Kill!” Lin Yi hesitated no longer, moving like a fish in the sea, agilely weaving through the Zombies. The two Silver Souls in his hands became instruments of death; with each swing, a row of Zombies had their heads severed! Yet this speed was still not fast enough; their goal was to eliminate these Zombies using only their own strength without needing the convoy's assistance. 0

At that moment, the Zombies appeared like lambs waiting for slaughter, allowing the two to massacre them without any resistance. If these Zombies had awareness, they would feel fear, as they could barely see their enemies while witnessing their companions' heads falling one after another. 0

Lin Yi and Lone Wolf resembled gods of war, surrounded by Zombies yet moving as if in an uninhabited realm. With just three strikes, they rendered the Zombies completely defenseless. In less than a minute, they had already wiped out nearly two hundred Zombies; such efficiency would be hard to achieve even with modern weaponry. 0

“Can we go any faster?” Lone Wolf’s once neat clothes were now stained with repulsive fluids, a chaotic mix of black and white. With his somewhat ferocious expression, he looked more like a true Bloodthirsty Zombie. 0

“Afraid you can't keep up!” Lin Yi replied, and with that, both Silver Souls flew from his hands. The silver blades cut through the air with a dazzling brilliance; in the next moment, all the Zombies' heads fell to the ground where the light passed. 0

In just a breath's time, twenty Zombie heads dropped. The next moment, Lin Yi transformed into a blur chasing after the spinning Silver Souls. 0

“Puff!” With both blades in hand, Lin Yi created a dazzling curtain of blade shadows; nearby Zombies rushing in were shredded like paper caught in an engine, instantly turning into a spray of blood and flesh. 0

This speed was still not fast enough. While Lin Yi wielded his blades mercilessly, his mental energy was also at work, forcefully tossing all approaching Zombies into the air. When these Zombies landed among their own kind, they were essentially reduced to unrecognizable heaps. 0

“Ha!” Lone Wolf shouted as he moved with an uncanny gait; it seemed as if he was surrounded by a mist that obscured his form. But wherever he passed, those Zombies fell lifelessly to the ground, leaving a clear path behind him. 0

…… 0

Brice was terrified; from the corner of his eye, he saw Joseph who had lost more than half of his neck and felt as if his entire body was about to spiral out of control. 0

“Ah!” A wave of flames suddenly surged forth. Brice instinctively raised his blade and thrust it into the air. The next moment, he felt his blade collide violently with something heavy. Gaining courage to look up, he found that his strike had perfectly blocked the massive hand of a B-Type Zombie coming down on him. 0

"Roar!" The Giant Zombie let out a furious roar upon missing its strike, raising its massive hand again, attempting to crush the boy with the big head into a pulp. 0

"Thud!" As Brice saw the Zombie's giant palm coming down to squash him, he felt an intense heat, even hotter than the flames surrounding the Zombie, rush past him from above. In the next moment, the raging Zombie suddenly fell silent, its enormous body swaying before it lunged directly at Brice. 0

"Ah!" Brice shouted and quickly retreated a few steps. 0

"Bang!" The Zombie crashed to the ground, flames erupting even more fiercely from its body, the acrid smell of burning flesh filling the air and making it hard to breathe. At that moment, several elderly women emerged from the shadows, each wielding a fire extinguisher, spraying it onto the still-burning Zombie. 0

The first wave of Zombie attacks was temporarily halted thanks to their collective effort, and casualties were not too severe. Of course, in such situations, casualties often meant death. The Zombie Virus spread too rapidly and was constantly mutating, making large-scale production of an effective serum impossible. 0

The boy exhaled deeply as he looked at Joseph, who had just been joking with him but was now lying on the ground with his neck nearly bitten off. A wave of sorrow washed over him. Suddenly, as if struck by a thought, he panicked and ran toward Joseph with his knife drawn. 0

"Roar!" Before he could reach Joseph, a familiar yet terrifying roar erupted from Joseph's already lifeless mouth. 0

A horrifying scene unfolded as Joseph—who had been dead—swiftly stood up. However, with most of his neck bitten away, he could barely hold up his head, which hung limply forward as if it might fall off at any moment. 0

Brice instinctively stepped back a few paces, but the now-corpse Joseph craved flesh and blood. It lunged toward Brice in an unnatural manner. Its head bobbed precariously on its chest as if desperately trying to lift itself to devour Brice. 0

"Roar!" A faint growl emanated from Joseph's chest as he lunged forward like a predatory beast ready to feast on Brice. 0
