The moment the gunshot rang out from behind, Lin Yi knew he had no time to dodge. In the past, his speed would have been sufficient, but now he was burdened with Ying Sa, and naturally, he couldn't keep up. 0

As Lin Yi felt the bullet approaching his back, every muscle in his body tensed under his consciousness. 0

"Bang!" A muffled sound echoed in Lin Yi's ears, and he felt a pain so intense it made him want to cry radiating from his left shoulder. However, this wasn't the time for him to grit his teeth and shout in pain; at the moment he was hit, he turned around and fired directly at the person who had shot him. 0

A spray of blood erupted as Lin Yi's bullet struck the assailant's head. With his enhanced physical abilities, Lin Yi had become adept at controlling every movement of his body, making his shooting skills sharp and precise. 0

In the next instant, Lin Yi turned and shot at the Camouflage Uniform whose weapon he had just disarmed. 0

"Bang!" Due to the close distance, Lin Yi's bullet hit the opponent squarely in the forehead, splattering brain matter onto him. At this point, other Camouflage Uniforms were quickly closing in; even with three heads and six arms, escaping would be difficult. 0

Ying Sa saw Lin Yi take down another Camouflage Uniform and drop a rifle. Seizing the opportunity, she rolled to grab the rifle and began firing at the approaching enemies. 0

"Bang!" 0

"Bang!" 0

"Bang!" Ying Sa fired three quick shots at a distance, and Lin Yi heard several screams. The mischievous girl who had been wandering with him transformed into a brave sharpshooter in an instant, causing Lin Yi to silently marvel. But they were on a battlefield; there was no room for carelessness. He suppressed the burning pain in his back and continued shooting. 0

Through his mental perception, Lin Yi noticed that at least thirty Camouflage Uniforms were converging on them. Perhaps fearing their tactics were too formidable, they tightened their encirclement and advanced cautiously. 0

"Stay behind me. I'll break through a way for us to escape their encirclement," Lin Yi said confidently despite knowing the situation was precarious. 0

Surrounded by trees with limited visibility, they weren't completely exposed to enemy fire. 0

Ying Sa nodded solemnly. Without hesitation, Lin Yi swiftly jumped to the nearest large tree. He scanned his surroundings, primarily assessing any potential dangers; no one seemed to be aiming at him. 0

Lin Yi waved his hand, signaling Ying Sa to come over. Having fought on the battlefield before, Ying Sa was naturally unafraid. Upon seeing Lin Yi's gesture, she crawled closer without hesitation. 0

Suddenly, a cloud of dust erupted beside Ying Sa; the enemy had already discovered her presence. 0

Lin Yi regretted not bringing the Silver Soul with him. If he had, he could have taken out the enemy from a hundred meters away. Fortunately, his mental acuity seemed to have increased significantly after yesterday's stimulation, allowing him to clearly sense the enemy's position. Without hesitation, Lin Yi fired a shot based on his perception of their location. 0

Ying Sa was quick. Just as Lin Yi finished firing, she had already reached the tree next to him. Although the trees in the forest were large, it was still difficult for two people to hide among them. Seeing Ying Sa approach, Lin Yi immediately jumped to the next tree and raised his weapon to start shooting. 0

Soon, Lin Yi noticed a problem: although he was fast, the enemy was no fool. The encirclement had closed in with almost no gaps left. If he wanted to lead Ying Sa out, he needed to move even faster. 0

Ying Sa followed closely behind and realized that the Camouflage Uniforms were getting closer; she could already see the models of their firearms. It was no exaggeration to say that if they were to fire in unison towards them, they would be finished. 0

"Do you trust me?" Lin Yi asked with determination. 0

Ying Sa looked into Lin Yi's serious eyes with her own dark eyes that sparkled like stars in the night sky and nodded slightly. There was not a trace of distrust in her gaze. 0

Lin Yi felt a strange sensation in his heart but quickly suppressed that unsettling feeling. 0

With a whoosh, Lin Yi's speed surged to an extreme. Every second counted; if he delayed even for a moment, Ying Sa would be in greater danger. 0

In the forest, a shadow flickered in and out of sight. Strangely enough, the assassins in Camouflage Uniforms did not react at all, and their lack of awareness resulted in them being shot in the back of their heads one by one. 0

As gunfire rang out rhythmically, those Camouflage Uniforms finally became conscious that something was wrong. However, they could never have imagined that within just a few dozen seconds, they had already lost at least half of their team members. They had been hired by a mercenary organization to assassinate Lin Yi; while they knew he was strong, they had completely underestimated his combat ability to the point where he could escape and turn around to kill these assassins without any preparation. 0

If it weren't for Ying Sa being trapped in the encirclement, Lin Yi could have left long ago. With his speed, he could have easily burst through a gap and fled without looking back. 0

The number of assassins had dwindled to the point where they no longer posed a threat to Ying Sa. Lin Yi's terrifying combat prowess compelled him to continue his killing spree. In an instant, his already lightning-fast figure blurred and vanished once more. The next moment, the head of a Camouflage Uniformed assassin, who was cautiously advancing, suddenly exploded. Yet, there was no one around to witness it, for Lin Yi had already moved on to eliminate his next target the moment he fired. 0

The leader responsible for the assassination operation was now drenched in cold sweat. He was not involved in the encirclement; instead, he was observing the battle from a distance through binoculars. However, he watched in horror as one subordinate after another fell silently with their heads blown apart. He barely had time to issue a new command before several of his men were dead. 0

"Bang!" The last Camouflage Uniformed assassin was killed in an instant by Lin Yi's bullet, just like his companions, completely unaware of who had taken their lives. 0

A young figure appeared in the leader's high-powered binoculars, instilling a sense of fear within him, as that young voice belonged to the very demon who had been wreaking havoc moments before. In less than a minute, thirty trained killers had been shot dead without even identifying their enemy. 0

Suddenly, the young man turned his head. The leader felt as if he were being watched, like a Bloodthirsty beast gazing at a trembling lamb. He knew this mission had failed; picking up the communicator, he reluctantly stated, "Mission failed." 0

Raising his handgun to his forehead, the leader realized there was no turning back. The mission had failed so completely that even for the sake of those brothers who had lost their lives, he could not survive alone. 0

In the next moment, just as he was about to pull the trigger, a tremendous force struck his wrist, causing him to lose grip and drop the gun to the ground. 0

The leader looked at the young man before him with despair; he understood that he didn't even have the right to take his own life. 0

"Tell me who sent you here, and I won't kill you!" The young man was Lin Yi; he had noticed this leader while eliminating the Camouflage Uniformed assassins. 0

The leader cast a scornful glance at Lin Yi but turned his head away in silence. 0

"Hmph!" Lin Yi swiftly twisted one of the leader's arms until it snapped with a sickening crack. He acted almost instinctively. 0

The leader clearly hadn't anticipated Lin Yi's ruthlessness but gritted his teeth and remained silent. However, intense pain surged through him as sweat poured down his forehead. 0

"Seriously?" Lin Yi scoffed coldly and unhesitatingly dislocated the other arm. 0

If one arm were to be broken by external force, the leader could endure it, but with both arms broken, he could no longer bear it. He nearly howled in agony, his entire body arching as he collapsed to the ground, rolling side to side in an attempt to alleviate the unbearable pain. 0

"Don't even think about keeping your legs!" Lin Yi kicked the writhing leader hard, his eyes devoid of any compassion. 0

"Lon... Lone Wolf..." The leader managed to spit out through gritted teeth. He had no doubt about the young man's words; he knew he was capable of such things. Although he had revealed the mastermind behind everything, he had already resigned himself to death and felt indifferent about it. However, this young man wouldn’t even grant him the chance to end his own life, and he truly wished to stop enduring this torment. 0

"Just kill me!" The words escaped him like a plea, filled with desperation. 0

"I'm not someone who enjoys killing for no reason. I promised you I wouldn't kill you," Lin Yi said before turning and leaving. 0

After a few flashes, Lin Yi arrived at the hiding place of Ying Sa. She was cautiously scanning her surroundings when she suddenly spotted Lin Yi; her expression shifted from shock to joy in an instant. 0

"Let's go; everything is taken care of!" Lin Yi extended his hand, and at that moment, the violent aura around him had vanished. 0

Ying Sa nodded hesitantly. She had been observing the situation outside and noticed that those trying to surround them had all suffered fatal headshots within a minute. The efficiency of those kills was terrifying. 0

"Hehe..." Lin Yi suddenly chuckled, wrapping his arm around Ying Sa's slender waist as they moved like a wisp of smoke through the forest. 0

As soon as Lin Yi and the others appeared in the makeshift camp set up last night, a piercing siren blared in the distance; it seemed the police had received reports of the incident. 0

Lin Yi initially considered going to find the police to explain everything but ultimately decided against it. It wasn't that he didn't trust them; it was just that they wouldn't believe that one person could take down over thirty experienced assassins. 0
