A long, hairy arm surged forward while Lin Yi was momentarily distracted, seemingly ready to grasp him. However, at that moment, a bizarre scene unfolded; instead of the claw piercing Lin Yi's chest, the Zombie's arm abruptly halted just a thumb's width away from him. Seizing the opportunity, Lin Yi jumped to a relatively safe position. 0

At that moment, Lin Yi felt a wave of relief wash over him. Thankfully, he had activated his mental power just in time to control the Zombie's arm; otherwise, he would have truly met his end right there. 0

The strange hissing sound intensified, and Lin Yi caught a whiff of something burnt. 0

"I didn't expect you to be so powerful. In just one minute, you've dealt with half of the B-Type Zombies. I suppose I must increase my efforts!" An aged voice echoed through the space once more. 0

"You can't kill me!" Lin Yi retorted, though he felt a tingling sensation coursing through his body, significantly slowing his reaction time. 0

"Hahaha, at least ten Ability Users thought the same way, but they all ended up dead! So you must die too!" The old voice carried an air of undeniable confidence. 0

Lin Yi couldn't help but click his tongue in frustration. Although he was confident in his combat prowess, he was not invincible. If high-powered explosives were to be set off here, he would certainly be injured if not killed. 0

The only option now was to resolve this quickly; otherwise, provoking the opponent further would leave him with no way out. With that thought in mind, Lin Yi accelerated his movements and charged recklessly into the horde of Zombies. 0

With a dull thud, Lin Yi struck a Zombie on the neck with his blade. At that moment, a powerful electric current surged through Silver Soul and swept across Lin Yi's body. The sharp pain and tingling sensation nearly made him cry out. If it weren't for his exceptional willpower, he would have dropped Silver Soul and rolled on the ground in agony. 0

"What an intense current!" Lin Yi knew how strong his body was, but in that instant, he felt as if his soul had left his body due to the shock. 0

The situation became extremely urgent. Although he could eliminate this batch of Zombies given another minute, these Zombies were now charged with powerful electricity; any strike would transfer that current back to him. While Lin Yi wasn't sure how these Zombies had been tampered with, it was clear that the old man had done something to them. They had become massive moving electric rods—anyone who got close would be shocked severely. 0

The Zombie with half its neck severed roared angrily and swung its hairy arm at Lin Yi. Knowing he couldn't use his blade effectively, Lin Yi kicked the Zombie squarely in the head instead. With a loud "bang," he easily knocked off what remained of its head. 0

It was then that Lin Yi realized the burnt smell was coming from his boots; the powerful electric current had nearly destroyed the soles of his military boots. 0

"Damn it, is there no way to live!" Lin Yi couldn't help but curse. If he stayed on the ground any longer, it would be dangerous, but he couldn't really fly. 0

Watching the Giant Zombie pounce toward him, Lin Yi pushed off the ground with his toes and leaped into the air, landing behind a group of Zombies. At this moment, many incapacitated Zombies were already lying on the ground, their wounds charred due to the electric current. Although they were still electrified, it was certainly better than standing directly on the metal floor. Lin Yi quickly kicked the corpses to distribute them evenly across the ground. While it was still dangerous, at least he didn't have to worry about igniting his feet. 0

All of this happened in less than a second. Just as Lin Yi finished his actions, the Zombies turned back and roared at him. Now unable to use his knife, he had no choice but to kick and strike at the Zombies. 0

The two Zombies that rushed to the front were met with a swift kick from Lin Yi, their heads colliding together with a sickening crunch, like two watermelons smashing into each other at high speed. However, this caused Lin Yi's balance to falter; he had to leap into the air and land safely to avoid hitting his head on the ground. This significantly slowed down his killing speed, but there was nothing he could do about it. 0

Lin Yi's mind raced as he realized how dangerous his situation was becoming. Cornered and desperate, an idea suddenly struck him. He needed a moment of respite. Jumping onto a corner while stepping on a Zombie's corpse, Lin Yi quickly removed his canvas jacket and tore it into two pieces, wrapping them around the knife handle to prevent it from conducting electricity for a short time. 0

Without delay, after preparing everything, Lin Yi charged straight into the horde of Zombies with an overwhelming ferocity that seemed ready to crush anything that dared to obstruct him. 0

As he rushed toward the Zombies, Lin Yi's body moved like a speeding train. Those Zombies attempting to approach him were sliced in half with a single stroke of his knife. But this was just the beginning; once Lin Yi found himself surrounded by Zombies again, he inevitably became disoriented by their relentless attacks. 0

With a thud, Lin Yi knelt on one Zombie's chest and swung his knives left and right. The two Silver Souls in his hands danced in a circular motion, instantly severing the legs of the surrounding Zombies. 0

At the moment those Zombies lost their balance and began to fall, Lin Yi thrust his knives downward for leverage and slipped through a gap between two fallen Zombies. In that brief moment, the legs of his pants were singed to ashes by electricity. But it was worth it; he had rendered six Zombies nearly incapable of fighting. 0

Now, out of nearly forty Zombies, less than half remained capable of threatening him—a significant reduction from the initial pressure he faced. However, the crackling sounds in his ears reminded Lin Yi that it was not yet time to relax; there were still many ways for them to kill him. 0

Lin Yi regretted being overly ambitious on this venture that had landed him in such perilous circumstances. Yet those Zombies would not grant him even a moment's respite for contemplation; despite losing half their comrades, their bloodlust and fury seemed undiminished. 0

"Roar!" A deafening roar erupted as all the Zombies charged at Lin Yi once more. They were indeed stronger than the Giant Zombie he had encountered earlier; their speed and power had noticeably increased. Not daring to hesitate, Lin Yi plunged his knives into the backs of two fallen Zombies and lifted them up. With a powerful twist of his waist, he hurled their massive corpses toward the approaching Giant Zombies. 0

"Bang! Bang!" A few muffled sounds echoed as the leading Zombies were knocked down to the ground. Lin Yi immediately leaped forward, planting his foot directly onto the chest of one Zombie, creating a large hole in its torso. Various organs were squeezed out, and writhing green worms crawled out half-dead. Lin Yi suppressed the turmoil in his stomach and bent down, slicing through the necks of two Zombies that hadn't yet had the chance to rise. 0

In just a few seconds, Lin Yi had killed three Zombies. From the moment he started with the first Zombie, he had already dispatched more than half of them in less than two minutes. However, that was still not fast enough; staying in this place for even a second longer increased the danger tenfold. 0

Lin Yi continued to swing his blades, not caring where they struck. He intended to take down each Zombie with a single blow, regardless of whether it severed their life force. 0

With a swift motion, Lin Yi leaped into the air, driving both blades into the tops of two Zombies' heads. At that moment, another Zombie charged straight at him. With his body still suspended in mid-air and unable to regain his footing, he slammed his hands against the hilts of his blades. The knives embedded themselves deep into the Zombies' skulls, their tips protruding from their backs. Using this momentum, Lin Yi twisted his body again and delivered a flurry of kicks to the approaching Zombie's head. Its already deformed skull caved in further and shattered, rendering it lifeless. 0

The slaughter continued unabated; Lin Yi remained vigilant while the remaining Zombies were no match for him. He moved through them with the agility of a fish swimming through water. To an ordinary person's eyes, those terrifying Zombies were mostly devoid of combat effectiveness. 0

"Ha~" Lin Yi exhaled lightly as the thirty-eight Zombies had lost most of their fighting capability under his relentless assault. 0

Just as the last Zombie fell to the ground, a metallic grinding sound came from the corners of the ceiling. Four circular holes about half a meter wide appeared on the previously smooth wall, each revealing a dark gun barrel aimed directly at Lin Yi. 0

"Tap tap tap!" Without any pause, gunfire erupted. Lin Yi cursed under his breath and began to dodge, but with crossfire coming from all four corners, he felt like a clown forced to jump around aimlessly; no matter where he hid, bullets would force him to leap about. 0

Lin Yi sensed their determination to kill him, but he was not one to easily accept defeat. Although he was nearly cornered with no way out, he desperately searched for a solution. Suddenly, he noticed scattered iron cages around him and an idea sparked in his mind. 0
