The incident happened suddenly, leaving everyone momentarily stunned and unsure of what to do. Fortunately, as a medic, Aik was able to step in at a critical moment. Seeing Aoling Er collapsed, he rushed over to provide aid.
Li Qiweng and others nearby quickly helped Aoling Er to her feet, but her face was ashen, her brows furrowed, and beads of sweat streamed down her face like pearls on a broken string.
"Reiko, what's wrong?" Li Qiweng asked, reaching out to check Aoling Er's breath. He could still feel a faint pulse, but her eyes were tightly shut, and her expression twisted in what seemed to be sheer terror.
Aik arrived just in time and, upon seeing Aoling Er's condition, felt at a loss. After all, his expertise lay in surgery, and Aoling Er showed no visible injuries; she had simply fainted unexpectedly.
"Does she have any medical history?" Aik asked the group anxiously. As a medic, he understood the importance of gathering detailed information about the patient as quickly as possible.
Everyone was at a loss for words, exchanging glances without knowing what to say. Aoling Er had previously been a staff member from Kenya assigned to the Lion City Research Institute, and Lin Yi was also unaware of her condition.
Just when Aik felt helpless, Aoling Er suddenly reached out a hand to push him away while mumbling incoherently. Although taken aback by her "attack," Aik quickly regained his balance and continued to observe her condition. However, it was strange; she flailed her arms and spoke nonsensically while keeping her eyes shut tight.
"Quickly, get her to the hospital!" Lin Yi shouted as he rushed over. He sensed that something was seriously wrong but couldn't pinpoint what it was.
"What about the proposal ceremony?" Jiao Jiao exclaimed with bloodshot eyes, staring at Lin Yi. She had spent the entire night preparing for Lin Yi and Li Qiweng's proposal ceremony, and now that it seemed to be coming to fruition, an unexpected crisis had arisen.
"I'll take Reiko to the hospital; the proposal can continue. Reiko looks like she needs immediate examination," Jones volunteered to escort Reiko to the hospital.
"I'll go with Jones; I can help keep an eye on her!" Aik quickly added.
Lin Yi glanced at Li Qiweng, who looked back at him with hopeful eyes. Although he felt guilty about the situation, he nodded in agreement for them to take Reiko to the hospital.
In a flurry of activity, they helped Reiko into the car. Just as she settled into her seat, she suddenly cried out loudly: "Hurry up! Just go!" Tears streamed down her cheeks.
The unfolding events took everyone by surprise; clearly, Reiko's condition was serious. Aik drove while Jones tended to Reiko in the back seat. South Corsica Island wasn't very large; there was a hospital right off the main road, so they didn't have to worry about getting lost.
The proposal ceremony continued but with an odd atmosphere. Lin Yi felt awkward; encountering such an incident during his first proposal left him unsure of where to vent his frustration. Everyone had worked hard for an entire night just for this Valentine's Day proposal, so despite the circumstances, they tried their best to maintain a joyful atmosphere.
With everyone's support, Li Qiweng finally made her way over to Lin Yi. He smiled as he took her hand and led her next to a hot air balloon. Lin Yi decided that he would propose in the hot air balloon; he hoped that in that moment, they would be undisturbed by anyone else—the world would belong solely to them.
The Hot Air Balloon was slowly released by the crowd. This new type of Hot Air Balloon could be controlled intelligently, making it easy to land later. When the Hot Air Balloon reached thirty meters in the air, it stopped rising. Lin Yi knelt on one knee and pulled out the ring he had bought yesterday, opening it in front of Li Qiweng.
The coolness of the high altitude contrasted with the sparkling brilliance of the ring, reflecting the clarity of their hearts at that moment. Everything outside felt illusory; only the two of them truly existed in this space.

Suddenly, Li Qiweng's eyes widened in horror as she stared intently behind Lin Yi, her expression shifting to one of sheer terror. Lin Yi was puzzled by what could cause such panic; after all, she wouldn’t even react this way in front of a Zombie Army.
Just as Lin Yi was about to ask what was wrong, he felt a powerful strike aimed at his chest from Li Qiweng. His words were abruptly cut off as he felt his body lift off the ground.
In that instant, a whirlwind of thoughts flooded Lin Yi's mind; the most desperate ones even made him wish for death. But as he began to fall, he saw the truth—though he wished he hadn’t.
A massive tentacle, resembling a giant vine, suddenly wrapped around the Hot Air Balloon floating in mid-air. The tentacle then yanked violently, pulling the entire basket down. Lin Yi desperately turned his head to see the basket being dragged away by the enormous appendage, his eyes turning crimson with despair.
"Wen!" A piercing scream echoed across the beach, reminiscent of a cuckoo's mournful cry that stabbed into everyone's hearts like a sharp needle.
Before Lin Yi could fall, the basket had already been pulled down to the surface of the sea. He watched helplessly as that white shape vanished from his sight.
At that moment, monstrous waves surged on the sea as a colossal creature crawled onto the shore. Its massive tentacles flailed wildly, seemingly intent on destroying anyone who dared to obstruct it.
All this happened in an instant; what had been a lively and joyous proposal scene transformed into a hellish nightmare. Fortunately, members of the Blood Envoy Mercenary Corps were seasoned veterans of various crises. As danger struck, they quickly distanced themselves from harm. Meanwhile, Lin Yi was stabilized mid-fall by Douglas using terrifying Psychic Power and swiftly moved to safety. The six dolphins that had just appeared for the wedding met their end when that gigantic tentacle suddenly emerged from the sea.
"Is that a Giant Squid?" Even Bai, who had drifted at sea for over ten years, was rendered speechless by such an enormous creature.
"Old Bai, I only know one thing: whatever it is, if we don’t run now, we’ll just be waiting to die!" Flower Cannon grabbed the dazed Bai and hurried toward higher ground. The Giant Squid was ultimately a creature of the water; no matter how powerful it was, it couldn’t reach land to harm them.
Lin Yi was finally saved from the brink of death by Douglas’s desperate efforts. However, the once spirited Lin Yi now wore a blank expression; though not a zombie, he was no different from one.
"There's no time, Witerson II, let's carry the boss!" Douglas knew that Lin Yi was no different from a corpse at that moment, and he didn't expect him to have any fighting strength left.
The only bus was parked by the roadside, still hundreds of meters away from the beach. However, the Giant Squid's tentacles were too long, and the scenes they had set up were shattered. Many people had nearly been ensnared by the tentacles several times. Fortunately, everyone was agile enough to narrowly escape danger, but this was not a long-term solution.
At that moment, Tony felt like a mouse being chased by a cat. He had just been closest to the beach, and now he was soaked through. The massive tentacles swept over his head continuously, threatening to entangle him at any moment. Tony ran desperately, hoping to catch up with the group. No one could help him now; no one would bring weapons to their boss's wedding, especially in what was supposed to be a safe place.
Suddenly, Tony felt darkness above him, an overwhelming sensation crashing down on him. His legs had already turned to jelly, and he collapsed to the ground, kicking desperately but only kicking up some sand without moving an inch. Almost in tears, Tony screamed, helplessly watching death approach.
He closed his eyes, not wanting to see the writhing suckers of the tentacle. Just when he thought he was about to die, a slender shadow suddenly jumped beside him, and the tentacle did not land on his head. Gathering his courage, Tony opened his eyes wide as an unbelievable scene unfolded before him.
A tall figure in a suit was tightly gripping the thick tentacle with both hands, rendering it immobile. Tony didn't have time to marvel; he hurriedly shouted a thank you and scrambled upward. He knew that everything else paled in comparison to life itself.
The others who had climbed to higher ground were also stunned by the sight of that frail figure on the beach. How could such a massive Giant Squid be held back by just one person? It took immense strength to do that.
The Giant Squid realized that one of its tentacles was firmly grasped by a tiny human. It thrashed desperately, trying to retract its tentacle but soon found it futile. The Giant Squid had no choice but to change tactics and attack the figure with another tentacle. However, that figure was too agile; several attempts missed their target.
"Get back to the training camp!" Witerson II and the others watching the "show" suddenly felt someone speaking nearby when they were interrupted by a rush of hot wind. A round figure dashed toward the Giant Squid at an incredible speed.
On the beach, two figures stood side by side. The tall figure grabbed a striking tentacle while the round figure lunged at the moment the Giant Squid's tentacle was controlled. Then an extremely bizarre scene occurred: that smooth tentacle suddenly ignited fiercely from its tip!
