"Since we've been discovered, let's just eliminate Sima Chuan and then report the situation to Lady Nayi," said the Shadow Leader to the other Shadow Mech Soldiers.
The Shadow Mech Soldiers nodded in agreement and charged toward Sima Chuan and Qiong. The Mechanical Guards, thinking the Shadow Legion was trying to escape, launched an attack. However, their strikes were futile against the Shadow Legion; wherever the Shadow Legion passed, the Mechanical Guards were swept aside.
Aitak furrowed his brow and muttered to himself, "What kind of Mechanical Soldiers are these? How did they end up here?"
Though Aitak was speaking to himself, Markett provided an answer: "They are Nai's Shadow Legion."
"Shadow Legion?" Aitak's frown deepened.
"What?" Luo Mengqi and Yiling suddenly sensed something was off. Looking at the two directions where the Shadow Legion was charging, they spotted two silver figures.
"Sima Chuan."
"Qiong."
Luo Mengqi and Yiling transformed simultaneously and flew toward Sima Chuan and Qiong.
"What is happening?" Aitak and the others watched in astonishment.
"Don't worry, Star Master. These are Mechanical Warriors," Markett explained from the side.
"Mechanical Warriors? You mean these are Mechanical Warriors created by Markett the Sage?" Aitak asked excitedly.
"Yes."
"Then where is Markett the Sage now?" Aitak was eager to know about Markett's whereabouts.
"He will naturally appear when the time comes," Markett teased.

Luo Mengqi landed beside Sima Chuan, helping him up as she asked, "Are you okay? Is anything wrong?"
"Cough cough... I'm fine, just a bit shaken. They are too fierce," Sima Chuan replied as he stood up, his words coming out in fragments.
"Can you still fight?" Luo Mengqi swung her sword.
Sima Chuan also drew his sword, slashing it once, a powerful aura emanating from him as he regained his composure.
Luo Mengqi sensed the change in Sima Chuan and asked, "Your recovery ability has improved?"
"Yes." Sima Chuan gripped his sword and aimed for the neck of Shadow Leader, while Number Three Shadow Mech lunged at him with a knife.
Luo Mengqi jumped up behind Sima Chuan and kicked Number Three far away. However, before she could steady herself, Number Four's cannon fire was already upon them. Sima Chuan was also in a tough spot, constantly attacked by Shadow Leader and Mouse Five, with no chance to catch his breath.
Qiong and Yiling were also at a disadvantage under the siege led by One, along with Two, Seven, Eight, and Nine, even in the air.
Markett watched anxiously from the side; he hadn't expected Nai's Shadow Legion to be modified to this extent.
Adela and Betis looked on in astonishment and worry, having just learned that the Akapa form of the Mechanical Warrior was actually Sima Chuan's transformation. They were also somewhat pleased, as they hadn't anticipated Sima Chuan to be this formidable.
The battle continued as Sima Chuan and Qiong clashed together, while the Mechanical Guard retreated to stand before Aitak and the others.
Sima Chuan and his companions were covered in wounds but quickly recovered again. They remained locked in a stalemate with the Shadow Legion. Exhaustion weighed heavily on them; they truly felt tired—both physically and mentally. The Shadow Legion was unlike any other Mechanical Soldier; it was stronger than previous Mechanical Legions.
Assessing the situation, Sima Chuan suddenly swung his sword down hard, forcing one Shadow Mech Soldier back a few steps. Another Shadow Mech Soldier charged forward and slashed at Sima Chuan's abdomen. He staggered back two steps and collided with Qiong.
The two exchanged nods. Sima Chuan gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, pointing the tip upward, and shouted, "Icebound for a thousand miles."
A wave of intense cold radiated outward from Sima Chuan. Aitak and his group shivered from the chill, while the Mechanical Guard sensed danger and immediately shielded them.
The Shadow Legion felt the threat and quickly retreated but could not escape being frozen. Luo Mengqi and Yiling saw that things were nearly resolved and stepped aside to rest, watching what would unfold below.
Qiong moved to Sima Chuan's right side, disassembling and reassembling in an instant, transforming into a giant sword. Sima Chuan grasped the hilt and swung; those frozen Shadow Mech Soldiers did not shatter as expected but merely split symbolically in half. However, when he reached Shadow Leader, a loud clang echoed—Shadow Leader remained unharmed.
Shadow Leader slowly turned around, eyes glowing red with an exaggerated smile curling at the corners of his mouth.
"Sima Chuan, is this all the power you have? You're still too weak." With that, Shadow Leader transformed his hand into a blade and slashed at Sima Chuan's chest. A deep gash appeared on Sima Chuan's chest accompanied by sparks flying off. Qiong immediately struck down at Shadow Leader; however, he dodged effortlessly, leaving behind an afterimage as he appeared behind Sima Chuan. With wide eyes, Sima Chuan leaped forward while Qiong changed direction to stab at Shadow Leader's eyes.
Shadow Leader leaped into the air, one hand transforming into a cannon that fired continuously towards Sima Chuan. Suddenly, Shadow Leader halted his assault as a fiery red sword, engulfed in flames, struck his back. Wincing in pain, Shadow Leader turned to look at Luo Mengqi, the red glow in his eyes flickering momentarily. Before he could launch a counterattack, a massive sword pierced through his chest. At that moment, Yiling summoned all her strength and kicked towards Shadow Leader's chin.
Shadow Leader began to fly sideways, and just then, Sima Chuan concentrated his power into the Mystic Sword, gripping the hilt with one hand and flashing in front of Shadow Leader. In the midst of Shadow Leader's incredulous gaze, he slashed deeply across his neck.
As they watched Shadow Leader fall to the ground, everyone let out a sigh of relief. However, no one noticed the even more intense red glow that flashed in Shadow Leader's eyes.
Once Sima Chuan and the others returned to their original forms, they walked towards Aitak, while the Mechanical Guard surrounded them.
Aitak waved his hand. "Let them through!"
After the Mechanical Guard stepped aside, as soon as Sima Chuan took a step forward, a sense of danger enveloped him. He turned around to see a shadow rushing towards him. Instantly transforming, Sima Chuan was still a moment too late; Shadow Leader’s attack interrupted his transformation, and he felt the immense force from Shadow Leader’s foot as it crashed into the Star Maiden Palace.
The Shadow Mech Soldiers began to rise one by one. Luo Mengqi, along with Qiong and Yiling, transformed and charged in.
"Stop them!" commanded Aitak, and all the Mechanical Guard positioned themselves in front of Shadow Leader. Glancing back, Shadow Leader saw Nine rushing forward together, sweeping away a large number of the Mechanical Guard. Seizing the opportunity, he dashed into the Star Maiden Palace, wielding a sword. Upon spotting Sima Chuan, he instantly appeared before him, disregarding Luo Mengqi and Qiong, and lunged at Sima Chuan.
At that moment, severely injured and unable to transform into his Akapa form, Sima Chuan lay on the ground watching as Shadow Leader’s Shadow Sword descended. However, neither Luo Mengqi nor her companions would allow anything to happen to him; forgetting to stop the descent of the Shadow Sword, she leaped onto Sima Chuan. Qiong and Yiling, using all their strength, struck fiercely at Shadow Leader, but still, the sword found its mark beneath Luo Mengqi's shoulder blade.
"Mengqi!" shouted Sima Chuan, an icy chill enveloping him as he instantly transformed into his Akapa form.
