"I wanted to break up with Xiao Xuanxuan at that time, but her attitude was resolute; she refused to end things. That convinced me; so I followed his instructions and used words to attack Xiao Xuanxuan until she couldn't take it anymore and committed suicide."
Junfeng Wang covered his face with his hands again as tears streamed through his fingers. "I didn't want this to happen; however, I couldn't control my ugly inner self. Even after Xiao Xuanxuan died and her father never came looking for me when I felt guilty about not apologizing to him—he still blamed Xiao Xuanxuan for betraying me—despite her suicide being her own choice. Looking at his gray hair made me feel utterly ashamed. That's pretty much everything I've kept hidden."
At this moment, Mu Xuanche took out the picture from his pocket and asked, "Is this it?"
Hearing this, Junfeng Wang wiped his tears and looked up at the picture in Mu Xuanche's hand in shock. "How did you get this? It’s the one I personally hung up!"
Mu Xuanche snorted coldly and said sternly, "Do you know what the true purpose of this picture is? Combined with all the demands that man made of you, your lifespan and fortune will be gradually taken away by him until you die without even knowing why!"
Junfeng Wang stood frozen in disbelief as his lips trembled. "This... how is that possible?"
Mu Xuanche's voice remained cold. "The fact is, you can't deny it. Haven't you noticed how increasingly unlucky you've become?"
Junfeng Wang fell silent.
It turned out that the world was indeed filled with treachery; perhaps the only one who had genuinely cared for him from the beginning was Xiao Xuanxuan. Ironically, he had always thought that Xiao Xuanxuan treated him poorly.

He pulled out a card from his pocket. "I sold my company; it was worth only sixty million at market value. This card has fifty million on it, and I hope you can accept it as a token of my gratitude."
I looked at Mu Xuanche and Bai Qiling in confusion. We had never charged this much before; I was hesitant to accept it…
Mu Xuanche asked, "Why did you sell your company?"

"Oh? Then how old is the 'person' you mentioned?"
"At most, no more than thirty."
"So young?" I exclaimed in surprise.
Mu Xuanche interjected, "Who knows how much longer he has extended his life using these images? It's only natural that he doesn't look old."
