The boat quickly docked, and this was my first time going through official channels.
As the saying goes, "once is enough." I hoped that after this trip to the Cult of Spirits, I wouldn't have to return again.
Mu Yancheng, now using Mu Xuanche's face, seemed to be quite popular in the Cult of Spirits. Everyone who saw him bowed their heads and called him Xuan Wang.
I really didn't understand what tricks he had pulled here to make everyone obey him so readily.
If Jin Ping was foolish, then the Spirit Sect Leader should logically be a shrewd person. How could he trust an opponent so easily?

Finally, after their flirtation ended, Jin Ping noticed me standing to the side.

She maintained a calm demeanor with her head slightly lowered, but in my heart, I had cursed Jin Ping a thousand times. How dare this Demoness call me ugly!

He kept inching closer to me, and I repeatedly reminded myself to hold back. If it got too unbearable, I would slap him on the head.
"Okay, what's next? Hurry up and tell me," I said, trying to steer the conversation away from this topic.
"You came looking for someone, right? Then I'll just take you around here. If you're lucky enough to run into them, that would be great. If not, there's nothing we can do," he replied nonchalantly.
His casual attitude was infuriating, but what could I do? I had no choice but to follow him around.
After wandering around three or four times without seeing the person I was looking for, I seriously suspected that Mu Yancheng was behind this.
I pointed upwards and asked if he could take me up there.
He looked at me in shock. "Sister-in-law, are you out of your mind? That's the territory of the Spirit Sect Leader! Are you trying to get yourself killed?"
But I remembered that Chuchen had seen Mingyue right outside the Spirit Sect Leader's room. Since I was here, I had to go up and take a look no matter what.
I insisted on going up, but Mu Yancheng was unwilling to accompany me. He said that the place above was not where I should go, and he didn't want to follow me up there to meet my demise.
Before leaving, Mu Xuanche had left me a way out. If Mu Yancheng refused my request, I was to show him the Bone Whistle hanging around my neck.
