As I was about to shout again, an old voice interrupted, "Dear girl, can you stop shouting? I'm here, I'm here."

When I reached the beach, I spotted a tall figure busily pacing back and forth in the distance.

Each corpse was suspended by the neck, their eyes tightly shut and faces pale, with blood continuously dripping from their wounds.
When my gaze fell upon Shangguan Zili's body, I noticed that her eyes were still open, just as they had been last night.
She stared at me with wide eyes, seemingly unable to believe that she was no longer alive.
Startled by her gaze, I took a few steps back and tripped over my own feet, falling to the ground.
Turning my head away, I couldn't help but gag.
The tall man noticed and hurried over to ask,
"Yan Xi, are you okay?"
His hand patted my shoulder, and seeing the blood still smeared on his hand made me gag again.
I felt like my stomach was about to empty itself; it was unbearable.
I pushed him away slightly, signaling him to step back a bit.
He seemed to sense something was wrong and took a couple of steps back, looking at me anxiously but not daring to approach. His hands were clasped behind his back, and his brow was furrowed tightly.
"Yan Xi, are you alright? These bodies were ordered by Island Master to be hung up for the Cult of Spirits to see. It's meant to serve as a warning."
Island Master, that pervert, I wasn't surprised at all that he could do something like this.
The sea breeze blew in, carrying a heavy scent of blood.
I couldn't stop retching, dry heaves wracking my body.
Suddenly, I was lifted off the ground, my neck uncomfortably constricted by my clothes.
I turned my head and met Island Master's sharp gaze.
"What do you want, Island Master?" My voice trembled with intensity.
He pressed his lips together, saying nothing as he dragged me forward.
If it were possible, I really wanted to pull down the Mask on his face to see what he truly looked like.
But that was nearly impossible. I flailed my limbs, struggling to break free.
"Smack!"
A loud sound echoed as my Butt received a slap.
It was obvious who had hit me; there was no one else but Island Master.
Seeing the ruthless glint in his eyes, I immediately quieted down, no longer daring to act out.
Island Master continued to hold me as we walked back to the wooden cabin.
He tossed me onto the bed. Fortunately, there was a quilt on the spot where I landed, which cushioned some of the pain.
Otherwise, that would have hurt quite a bit.
Thinking of the Island Master, I immediately turned over and sat up, leaning against the wall, staring intently at him.
He leaned down, his hands propped on the bed, his head inching closer to me.
Finally, he stopped less than five centimeters away from me, his face right in front of mine.
As if entranced, I reached out and placed my hand on his face, wanting to tear off his Mask.
With the Mask gone, his face was revealed.
Initially, a glimmer of hope remained in my heart.
I expected that beneath this face would be Mu Xuanche's face because I could always smell his scent on the Island Master.
Moreover, the various actions of the Island Master made me suspicious. Coupled with the kindness shown to me by the strong man, I increasingly doubted that the Island Master was indeed Mu Xuanche.
However, when I removed the Mask,

He looked at me with a mocking expression. "Are you satisfied now?"

"Island Master, why did you save me?" I finally asked.
The mockery in his deep black eyes grew stronger. "Wasn't it you who came seeking me?"
Yes, I was the one who came to seek help from him.
He turned over and lay down beside me. I initially wanted to speak up and stop him, but then I remembered that he was the master of this place, so I silently closed my mouth.
I couldn't drive him away; surely I could leave on my own.
I turned over and got out of bed, preparing to leave.
"Do you want revenge?"
His voice came from behind me, causing me to halt in my tracks.
I turned back to look at him. "Revenge? What revenge?"
"To be hurt by a man like that, to be bullied by a woman like her—if I were you, even if it meant destroying everything, I wouldn't let them off easily."
Who exactly was the Island Master, and how did he know so much about my situation?
I looked at him suspiciously, wanting to know what he would say next.
But it seemed he guessed my thoughts. He rolled over, got up, and walked out the door.
"Wait,"
I called out, making him stop in his tracks.
"If I want revenge, will you help me?"
He turned back, his dark eyes fixed intently on me, filled with mockery. "That depends on what you're willing to offer. My price isn't low."
Although I knew talking to him was like bargaining with a tiger, I couldn't resist the temptation. The allure of being able to take down Jin Ping was too great for me.
"I don't need you to take action; I hope you can teach me how to take revenge and make me stronger. I believe you have the ability. What conditions do you want? I'm willing to exchange anything."
"What if I want the child inside your belly?"
His words left me speechless. I was momentarily taken aback, completely unprepared for his condition regarding the child I carried.
