I wasn't in the office when Shangguan Mingyue went in and found it.
Not long after, she burst out, "Yan Xi, there's nothing on the east side, just a wall."
I glanced down at the scattered papers on the ground and lowered my voice to Shangguan Mingyue, saying, "Tear down the wall."
"Sure thing."
I had no idea what Shangguan Mingyue was using to break down the wall; all I knew was that after she went in, there were loud banging sounds coming from inside.
Principal Chen stood beside me with a pained expression, yet he didn't dare step forward to stop her.
"Yan Xi, Yan Xi, I've found something!"
As soon as I heard Shangguan Mingyue's excited voice, I rushed inside.
When I finally stopped, I realized something was off.
Shangguan Mingyue stared at me in shock. "What are you doing in here? Didn't I tell you not to come in?"
"I heard your voice and rushed in. I got too excited and forgot your warning."
"You heard my voice?"
Shangguan Mingyue looked at me in confusion, seemingly not understanding what I meant.
I was also bewildered and said dizzily, "Wasn't it you who called me in? Did you find something?"
"I noticed, but I was just about to go out with you," she said, pointing at the large hole that had been smashed open. Following her gaze, I looked over and when I saw the twisted body of Chen Sang embedded in the wall, I realized I had fallen into a trap.
That voice earlier had been disorienting me, trying to lure me in.
Chen Sang's body lay contorted in the center of the wall, her once delicate face now corroded beyond recognition by the cement.
As I gazed at her lifeless form, tears streamed down my face uncontrollably, my heart aching to the point where I could hardly breathe.
Suddenly, it was as if Chen Sang had come back to life; she stood up and walked towards me.
I wanted to move, but my feet felt glued to the floor, unable to budge.
She approached and reached out to caress my face, wiping away my tears with a gentle touch as she spoke softly to me.
"Don't cry; it hurts me."
My heart softened towards her, and my voice became filled with longing.
"Okay, I won't cry."
"Do you feel pain for me?" she asked.
I nodded.
She continued, "Are you willing to help me take revenge?"
I continued to nod.
She smiled, a particularly joyful smile that brought her face back to life. Her grin widened, revealing all her teeth, the corners of her mouth stretching back toward her ears. Her face cracked like dry cement, with pieces flaking off.
Faced with such a sight, I felt no fear; only a deep sense of sorrow and a flicker of anger remained within me.
Why was this girl in the Blossom Season still subjected to such inhuman torment?
"Alright, since you're willing to take revenge, go kill that old hag and the Scoundrel," I thought in my mind that agreeing was impossible, yet what came out of my mouth was simply, "Okay."
Now, I had only one thought: to kill the family that tormented Chen Sang, to eliminate those Wretches.
Something felt off inside me, but I couldn't shake it off; all I wanted was bloodshed.
Only blood could quell my anger; only blood could honor my inner turmoil.
"Yan Xi, what are you doing?" Shangguan Mingyue grabbed me anxiously, her agitation shooting straight to my head. I shot her a glare filled with rage.
This annoying woman—I reached out and gripped her throat, speaking ominously, "If you don't step aside, I'll make you die."
"Gu Yanxi, have you lost your mind? You're possessed! Wake up!"
"I am Shangguan Mingyue. Can't you recognize me?"
Her words felt like nonsense to me; her voice was so grating that my head was about to explode.
I slapped her hard across the face and cursed, "Shut up, Wretch!"
She seemed stunned by the blow, momentarily lost in shock.
I smirked, shaking her off as I turned to walk away.
However, just a few steps later, someone grabbed my leg.
I turned around in anger and looked down to see Shangguan Mingyue lying on the ground, her arms tightly wrapped around my leg.
She looked up at me with pleading eyes, a hint of pain in her expression.
"Yan Xi, you can't go!"
But all I could think was how annoying this woman was. I kicked my leg, trying to shake her off.
"Wretch, let go of me!"
Yet she clung to my leg stubbornly, refusing to let me move, trying to stop me from leaving.
Frustrated, my face darkened as a murderous intent surged within me. "Fine, since you don't want to let go and are so bothersome, I'll grant you your wish."
I lifted my leg high, an inner voice urging me on, pushing me beyond my own control.
"Quick, kick her down, kill this woman! Once she's dead, no one will stop you from taking your revenge.
Hurry up, kill her!
After you kill her, you can take your revenge without holding back.

"Gu Yanxi," he said, his voice icy cold, sending a shiver down my spine.
I calmed down, looking at him with a hint of grievance.
He placed his hand on my forehead, and a chill seeped into my mind.
My previously restless heart quieted down, and the impulsiveness that had consumed me faded away.
Seeing Shangguan Mingyue on the ground, her face twisted in pain with blood at the corner of her mouth, I couldn't believe I had done this. I dropped to the ground beside her, helping her up as tears instantly blurred my vision.
"I'm sorry, Mingyue,"
She shot me a glare, turned over, and began to curse,
"Damn it, you brute! How can you be so strong? With that kick, I feel like I've lost half my life."
"Get up quickly; I'll take you to the hospital,"
I struggled to help Shangguan Mingyue to her feet and took her to the hospital.
Chen Sang's body had already been found. I instructed Principal Chen to burn it as soon as possible; that would break the formation.
After this incident, Principal Chen had become obedient to my commands. As soon as I mentioned it, he immediately contacted the funeral home and sent Chen Sang to the crematorium.

It was Shangguan Mingyue, walking out with a drip stand, looking utterly aggrieved.
"I'm just a patient, and you all are slaughtering dogs," she complained.
I smiled shyly, "Mingyue, why are you out here instead of resting?"
