"Mom, it's that woman. I saw her last night."
Madam Zhou reacted quickly, covering Zhou Ziqing's mouth to prevent her from speaking further.
Soon, both mother and daughter from the Zhou family lowered their heads, and Shangguan Mingyue and I exchanged knowing glances.
It was clear that they had been kept in the dark, and we all stood up in unison.
I turned to Boss Li and said, "We can't help with this. I advise you not to get involved either; otherwise, it could end badly."
Seeing that we were about to leave, Li Kui hurriedly grabbed my arm. I paused and glanced at the Zhou family.

Madam Zhou shouted in an attempt to stop her daughter but was silenced by a look from Zhou Ziqing. "Mom, Dad is more important than anything else. Without him, we have nothing."

In the end, she threatened me with her death. If she loves jumping off buildings so much, then let her jump! Why should I beg her?"
Everyone present fell silent, listening as Madam Zhou recounted this sordid tale.
"My husband works in real estate and inevitably has social engagements, so I can accept that he has a few women on the side. I believe my husband loves me; he wouldn't take any of those outside relationships seriously.
For over a decade, we have lived in peace."
Until that Gu Baor appeared, she not only seduced my husband and tricked him out of money, but she also secretly became pregnant with his child.

Then everyone rushed in, and I looked at Shangguan Mingyue in the same way.
She ordered the others to leave, then entered the room and locked the door behind her.
“Are you still there?” Shangguan Mingyue asked.
“I’m still here.”
“Come out, Gu Baor. We know you’re here.”
I shouted into the air, but was met with chilling laughter.
Ha ha! Ha ha...
A strong wind swept through, and Boss Zhou crawled up from the ground, his face twisted in agony. His hands gripped his own neck tightly, as if he were trying to strangle himself.
Shangguan Mingyue rushed over and pressed a talisman onto Boss Zhou’s forehead.
In an instant, Boss Zhou’s body went limp.
“Mind your own business!”
A sharp female voice flashed past my ear, followed by a fierce wind that cut across my neck, leaving a deep gash.
Blood flowed out, and I reached up to touch the blood on my neck, letting out a cold smile.
I knew Gu Baor wouldn’t dare to attack us because she didn’t know our true capabilities; this was merely a warning.
“Gu Baor, let’s hear your terms.”
"Ha ha, I want the entire Zhou Family to die!"
Gu Baor's voice was sharp, laughing wildly.
Shangguan Mingyue leaned closer and said, "The resentment is too heavy. If you want to negotiate with her, you must defeat her first."
"Alright."
Gu Baor was now hiding, and even with our Yin-Yang Eyes, we couldn't see her.
To force her out, Shangguan Mingyue had used up a stack of talismans in the room.
The smoke was so suffocating that I could barely stand it; how much worse was it for Gu Baor?
"Seeking death!"
A threatening voice echoed as a woman slowly crawled out from the floor.
Her posture was strange, yet her movements were filled with determination.
Her body was twisted, half of her face mangled, looking like someone who had jumped from a building.
Her bones seemed shattered, flat against the ground, with half of her head smashed in. Dried brain matter oozed from her face, and her eyeball dangled outside its blurred socket.
Shaking, she crawled toward us.
The weight of her resentment was overwhelming, causing her Yin Qi to surge and significantly increasing her spiritual power.
With a wave of her hand, a gust of energy rushed toward us. I rolled to the side to evade it.
Without giving us a moment to catch our breath, she charged at us again.
I formed a hand seal and struck towards her head, but she dodged by tilting her head. She came straight for me.
In that critical moment, fortunately, Shangguan Mingyue swung the Peach Wood Sword to block her.
To my surprise, Gu Baor managed to catch the Peach Wood Sword and then evade.
How heavy must this Resentment be? Shangguan Mingyue bit her finger, letting her blood drip onto the Peach Wood Sword before charging forward once more.
I didn’t take out Shiro because I wanted to help Gu Baor find peace, not let her soul scatter.
With Shangguan Mingyue's cooperation, this time my Ghost Suppression Technique landed directly on Gu Baor's head.
"Ah..."
She let out a terrible scream and vanished from the room.
"She ran away."
I signaled for the Zhou Family to come in and helped move Boss Zhou back onto the bed. Looking at Boss Zhou's belly, which resembled someone who had been pregnant for ten months, I felt something was off, but I couldn't pinpoint what it was.
The Zhou Family guided us to the living room, and Shangguan Mingyue asked what I had been thinking about earlier.
I turned to the Zhou Family and asked, "You all know if Gu Baor has ever been pregnant, what happened to her child?"
Madam Zhou replied, "Old Zhou took her to have an abortion. Why do you ask?"
I had left the treasure in the living room. If something happened with the Zhou Family, I wanted him to see it and notify me in time.
The little one suddenly leaped into my arms, a look of sheer terror on his face.
"What’s wrong, dear?"
Everyone around me looked puzzled as I spoke to the air, but Shangguan Mingyue knew what was going on and instructed them not to disturb me.

I quickly instructed him to take me to see his brother, and he led me toward the kitchen.
Crouched beneath the cabinet was a completely naked infant. After one glance at him, I couldn’t bear to look any longer.
I was holding what was perhaps the most horrifying ghost I had ever seen in my life, and it was a baby.
His entire form seemed to be reassembled from souls, with large stitches covering his body. The only two features that resembled anything human were his two pitch-black eyes.
His body appeared to be made of chopped meat, like the kind used for dumplings—finely diced pieces.
The sight was exceptionally unsettling; the corners of his dark eyes were filled with rage, brimming with unjust anger.
Though he was an Infant Spirit, his Resentment was overwhelming. He threatened me with his gaze, but since Bao was hurt, I took him away from the kitchen.
Who could have done such cruel things to a child like this?
I couldn't bring myself to look at the baby again. I stormed into the living room and shouted, "Are there any buns left that you all ate?"
Everyone looked at me in confusion, taken aback by my anger.
Shangguan Mingyue stood up and walked over to me, asking, "What's wrong?"
I was in no mood to answer her. I turned to the Zhou mother and daughter and demanded, "Are there any buns left that Boss Zhou ate?"
Madam Zhou seemed startled by my outburst. After a moment of hesitation, she replied, "Yes, I'll go get them."
I followed Madam Zhou into the kitchen. When she opened the fridge and pulled out the buns, I snatched them from her hands.
I took one of the buns apart and examined it before handing it to Shangguan Mingyue.
She took it suspiciously, brought it close to her nose, then recoiled in horror and shouted, "What the hell? Who the hell is eating human flesh like this?"
