However, a connection formed between them, and after two or three exchanges, they surprisingly matched each other's speed. In their fierce confrontation, neither side gained the upper hand. At this moment, Freyr had reached his personal maximum speed; against an ordinary opponent, they would have already been overwhelmed and left with injuries all over. 0

Unbeknownst to him, several slashes had opened gaps in his soft armor. If he were merely flesh and blood, he would have sustained light wounds by now. Fortunately, although his inner clothing had been torn, his skin remained unscathed. 0

"You really keep up with my speed well," Freyr said with a smile. 0

The Red Skeleton across from him tilted its head and looked over. As their gazes met, Freyr snapped back to attention. 0

"Continue!" 0

Just then, he sensed two more forces approaching within his perception range—more Red Skeletons were unable to resist the urge to attack him, each wielding a Bone Knife aimed at him. 0

"Don't get too caught up in the thrill of killing; you'll get hurt like that! Let me assist you!" Ross called out for the first time. Immediately after, he raised his bow and shot. 0

The arrows felt as if they were fired like lasers, infused with considerable power. One of the descending Red Skeletons was struck directly in the forehead; its skull cracked open along the seams, and gradually, its lower half crumbled to the ground like dry bones. 0

"Indeed, the head is their weak point! I should have realized that sooner—aim for the head; that's where they're vulnerable," Ross shouted. 0

Three more skeletons glanced at him, their descent now unavoidable. 0

A series of gunfire erupted from one of the weapons, filling the air with a storm of bullets. The sound of cracking bones echoed loudly. 0

Roars accompanied the cacophony as a multitude of bones rained down from above. The speed of the Destroyer's bullets reached an unprecedented level, while the Red Skeletons on the ground began to stir. 0

One skeleton turned and slashed upward with its shoulder. Freyr dodged a swift attack that was impossible to block. The bone knife clattered to the ground as a fissure split open in the earth beneath him, crackling with lightning and spreading toward his feet. The ground trembled violently. 0

This force was truly chaotic. As the ground split apart, Freyr jumped to avoid imminent danger. He then launched into a downward strike with his Dual Daggers, crossing them as they descended. 0

The Spirit Fire of the Red Skeleton flickered violently as it gripped the Bone Knife in reverse. Once again, it executed that powerful shoulder-swinging slash. This stance required significant arm strength in reality, utilizing a chain reaction of muscles throughout the body to unleash maximum Ultimate capability in a single strike. 0

It was likely that few swordsmen dared to fight so desperately, and the Red Skeleton certainly did not appear to be a particularly muscular creature. Well, it couldn't even be called a creature in the traditional sense; let’s just refer to it as an Undead being. 0

Such an Undead being likely possessed infinite stamina and capability. Humans, being prone to fatigue, would find themselves gradually worn down by the Undead, much like how a Python tortures its prey slowly until the victim gives up struggling, allowing the Python to swallow it whole. 0

When did such hunting techniques become applicable to killing techniques? Freyr spat blood in frustration, the crimson liquid splattering deep into the eye sockets of the Red Skeleton, causing it to howl in pain. At the same time, smoke began to rise from the blood-stained area, prompting the Red Skeleton to take a step back. Their mutual attacks had once again reached a stalemate. 0

"Another tie, huh? How about this?" 0

A grin spread across Freyr's face as his invisible domain expanded once more. The Time Bond doubled its amplification, enhancing his speed significantly. However, at that moment, a sharp attack was already swinging toward his face. 0

"What an unexpected ambush!" Freyr chuckled as he stepped back, their movements seeming to freeze in time. 0

The blade sliced through the air like a fierce whirlwind, producing a series of sharp sounds akin to impacts against a protective shield—crisp and clear. If this continued, surely his opponent would falter first. 0

Sure enough, as he unleashed his full power again under the drive of Gene Chain's Second Stage, he transformed into a muscular demon. This force was undoubtedly sufficient; few beings possessed both speed and precise, powerful strikes. 0

This time, standing before him was a Red Skeleton imbued with vital energy. That layer of energy wavered uncertainly. After a round of emptying their energies on the battlefield, only three Red Skeletons remained upright alongside Freyr, who was moving at near-normal speed. The other two were infused with the energy of artifact refiners. 0

With two levels of attacks occurring simultaneously, even though they were infused with vital energy, their density was not particularly thick. Thus, when struck by the knife, it felt like cutting through cotton. While some force could be resisted, if this continued for too long, that cotton would eventually be sliced apart. 0

The cotton could not absorb all of the knife's attacking force indefinitely; even if it had some effect, it would only be temporary. The Red Skeleton displayed signs of exhaustion similar to a human and even exhibited visible breathing patterns. 0

"Leave it to me!" 0

"Swish swish swish!" 0

The sound of bullets firing erupted from the other side, and countless rounds were unleashed in an instant, all aimed at the tumultuous Red Skeleton. The gathered energy coalesced for a moment, and shards of metal flew through the air. 0

However, it seemed that the aura was weakening with each shot. Gradually, the Red Skeleton began to retreat, then flipped its hand, revealing another skeleton right in front of it, riddled with bullets. Several joints cracked open first, and then the Red Skeleton's head was struck and shattered. 0

"Roar!!!!" 0

As the roar echoed, a sharp blade of light shot up from the ground, sweeping through like a sonic wave. 0

Freyr's figure suddenly descended, perfectly positioned in front of the incoming attack. His speed was remarkable; he quickly discerned the techniques mixed within that sonic wave. Indeed, it was a combination of over a hundred sword techniques, and their overall power was still quite formidable. Anyone struck by them would likely be left with no unscathed skin. 0

However, for Freyr, this was hardly a concern. If it came down to speed, he could still slightly counter this attack with his rapid offensive moves, so he felt no sense of impending doom. 0

"One strike, two strikes, three strikes!!!" 0

As he silently chanted in his mind, he pursued the elusive blades of light with relentless determination. The attack of the Aterkan Longsword came to an abrupt halt like a violent storm. 0

The wave of sound was dissipated into nothingness as Freyr neutralized the attack and slowly stood on solid ground. Two Red Skeletons faced him from either side. 0
