"Um, I think we can leave now," Freyr suddenly spoke up. 0

The others eagerly nodded in agreement, feeling that staying in this situation would be pointless. 0

Let's go for a walk, let our emotions settle a bit. It would be better to get outside and see something rather than wallow in sadness here. 0

"Yeah, let's go," Ross urged from the side. Perhaps seeing the earlier scene made him feel a bit sympathetic. He was the first to turn around, ready to press the elevator button. 0

"Hey, I've heard about your situation. Really, I sympathize with you," the old man with a white beard suddenly turned around, his first greeting coming out like this. 0

"No need for that. Let's wait until you can make decisions. We're going to train now. We won't be coming back to the association for a while, so you can rest easy. We'll come back to bother you once President recovers," Freyr said without hesitation. 0

"Oh? Is that so? Then I’ll have to keep an eye on my brother. Don’t worry; from now on, those two guys downstairs won’t stop you anymore. I’ll handle them. Whenever you figure things out, just come find me," the old man continued with a relaxed demeanor, smiling at them. 0

"Sure, we will come back to find you." 0

Freyr nodded, and just then the elevator arrived. 0

They stepped inside, and Freyr gave a slight nod to the old man at the elevator door. The old man waved back at him, and then the elevator doors closed heavily. The elevator quickly descended into the shaft and soon reached the first floor. 0

The two attendants at the entrance clearly had no idea what was going on; they had left quite quickly. Judging by their expressions, they must have been taken aback. 0

Although the attendants had no right to question what they were doing upstairs, it was not outside their responsibilities either. Their main purpose was to prevent unfamiliar individuals from going upstairs, particularly since there had been recent discord within the association. As a department closely trusted by President, they could not stand idly by. 0

These two attendants were carefully selected to protect President from disturbances. Even if there were urgent matters, they had to report immediately to Vice President, who would then personally inform Hilbert and President. The process had clearly added many more steps than before, primarily to ensure that President would not suffer as he had in the past. 0

The heavy footsteps faded away, and the two administrators showed a relieved expression. After those people left, they would have to maintain a state of high tension without moving for quite some time, until late at night when someone would come to replace them. 0

This job was quite desirable; they didn’t have to do much—just help inquire about the upper floors and press the button for them to go up. Once pressed, the elevator would only take them to the corresponding floor. This arrangement had caused dissatisfaction among other residents on that floor, but they were afraid of disturbing the President. As a result, the two administrators often endured unwarranted humiliation and insults, which they had to tolerate. 0

Stepping outside, they were unsure where to go next. Perhaps they had originally planned to return and have a good talk with the President, but seeing the President's pale and fatigued appearance made them realize that adding more pressure would only cause the pillar of their association to collapse. 0

However, this did not faze them. Everyone seemed to be in low spirits upon returning; trying to train now would only exacerbate their injuries, which was not advisable. What they really needed was a good rest. After work, they actually had a long period of time to relax, during which no one would bother them. 0

Maybe this was the best way out. "Let's each arrange our own schedules and then go back to rest. We’ll meet at my place at 8 AM tomorrow morning," Freyr suggested. 0

"Sounds good, but..." Ross trailed off, seemingly with more to say. "How about we go eat first?" It was unexpected for Ross, known as a foodie, to express such a thought. 0

"Uh, just like that?" Freyr replied with a hint of exasperation, smiling slightly. 0

"What else do you want? A spa day?" Ross smirked. 0

"So you used to be this kind of person? I never expected that; I misjudged you," Xiong Tai suddenly chimed in with a mischievous look. 0

"Uh, I was just joking! If I didn't say that, would you think my opinion was wrong? Besides, the atmosphere just now was really off, wasn’t it? Hey, how about we go eat?" Ross shrugged helplessly. 0

"Hey, hey, hey, don’t be mad! We were just joking; you know sometimes we can’t help but speak our minds," Xiong Tai continued. "Come on, guys, we apologize sincerely; it’s really just like that." He leaned over and put his arm around Ross's shoulder while continuing to laugh. 0

"Hehe, alright, I forgive you," Ross suddenly smiled and replied. 0

"Where are we going to eat?" someone asked. 0

"Um, that place looks good." Xiong Tai pointed to a mark on the map. It was a newly opened restaurant in Gourmet City, a place no one had ever tried before. The flavors were unidentifiable, the ingredients scarce, but the taste was exceptional—everything about it was top-notch. 0

Moreover, no one knew when this Gourmet City had sprung up; it felt like it had appeared overnight, giving off an air of mystery and sophistication. 0

Driving there took only half an hour, and soon they arrived at the entrance of the restaurant. 0

At the entrance of Gourmet City stood six doormen dressed in black suits. They looked sharp and well-groomed, their hair slightly curled, each one exuding a handsome charm. Unfortunately, they were all men; if they had been women with such looks, they might have captivated everyone already. 0

"Welcome! How many in your party?" one of the doormen suddenly stepped forward to block their way. 0

"Seven people," someone replied. 0

"No, it's eight," Freyr corrected. Just then, someone rushed up from behind them. This person was lean and appeared to have grown taller; he was a very capable-looking young man who had just arrived. 0

He had been following them all along, and it was surprising how skilled he was at tracking. If Freyr hadn't sensed someone tailing them, they might not have noticed the car that had been following since they left the street. It was clear who it was—Duan Shuai. 0

"Long time no see! Sorry I'm late. You guys won't hold it against me, will you?" Duan Shuai said as he approached. The others stared at him, unsure of who he was. 0
