The assault of the Feather Dragon Dance was incredibly swift, its explosive force crashing down like an unstoppable tide. Although it was merely a physical attack, each strike carried a lethal intent, instantly colliding with the opponent and generating an overwhelming reaction. 0

Without a doubt, two sharp fangs alone could not withstand the full force of the attack. After completing a series of fierce moves akin to a hurricane, the Queen Bee was instantly torn to shreds. The two fangs hung in mid-air, forming an interlocking defensive posture, but consciousness had long since faded. 0

Though the battle had ended, others were still unclear about the outcome, believing that silence merely signified a temporary pause before continuing the fight. Clearly, they thought so. Suspended in mid-air, Freyr gasped for breath as he released himself from the Gene Chain state. He had truly reached his Ultimate form. Once he revealed himself, he half-knelt on the ground, trembling violently as he awaited his body to recover. 0

The situation gave off an impression of impending defeat, prompting many to lift their heads and scan their surroundings. Weapons were immediately raised. Seeing everyone’s reaction, Freyr quickly raised his hand and shook his head, saying, “No, don’t move. That creature has already been dealt with. Let’s calm down and clear the area.” After he spoke, everyone became vigilant; this kind of situation was indeed quite complex. It took a while before someone finally exclaimed in surprise, followed by a second and third person reacting as well. They approached Freyr and gently helped him up. 0

Ross looked around nervously before continuing, “Did you really take care of it? I thought you were defeated just now. That thing was formidable; I felt a hurricane-like impact—was that caused by it or you? When did you become this strong? Such incredible force!” 0

“It’s nothing much. If you continue training like this, you’ll eventually become just as strong,” Freyr replied. “In other circumstances, no one seems capable of handling such a monster at this level. That ancient carnivorous bee must be an unevolved form of modern bees. This is the graveyard of Tyrannosaurus; when I entered this area earlier, I noticed many skeletons with fatal wounds inflicted by such monsters. So there should be more than one type of bee here. We need to be cautious. However, that one we just faced was somewhat special; I suspect it was the most powerful Queen Bee among them. Its tentacles were sharp as scythes and could rival my Alchemical Weapon without losing any edge—it must have survived for a long time as the king among bees. The others likely either didn’t have enough time to grow or haven’t reached that level yet; speed can only be attained through time and experience. That’s my speculation. How are things on your end?” Freyr asked immediately. 0

Ross shook his head and replied, “Well, actually not much happened—we’re all unscathed. You seem to have exhausted more energy than us; let me eliminate any lingering scents and take a short break.” 0

Upon hearing this, others nodded in agreement. “In this situation, it’s not impossible to rest now; if we encounter another problem, we might not be able to handle it,” Ross said while reflecting on what had just transpired—his expression showed signs of shock that went beyond mere visual astonishment; it seemed he was rendered speechless by surprise. It appeared rare for someone at their age to achieve such feats. 0

If evaluated by team level, they still seemed like a growing team with a long way ahead of them. However, when comparing strength directly, Ross felt that they were not far from becoming true powerhouses. 0

This was likely why the President held them in such high regard; without him alone, it was hard to see how this team could develop significantly in the future. But with him included, their potential for future development seemed vastly greater—at least in terms of success probability. 0

If calculated this way, then perhaps their previous plans should have been more strategically laid out. Ross understood how to make team operations more reasonable; until now, they had relied solely on individual strength to navigate challenges—a configuration typical of a single-core team. Ultimately, if the strongest member encountered issues, how would the remaining members react? Would they resist desperately only to face mutual destruction in the end? 0

In reality, the most important thing was to ensure that he maintained his physical strength, continuing to embody the qualities of a leader in future missions. Others did not necessarily need to improve rapidly, but they had to become more motivated with each passing day. If they could return safely to the association this time, they needed to seize the opportunity to strengthen their developmental direction and achieve a qualitative change in their personal abilities. 0

After walking for a while, Ross turned back and continued setting up the tent. He arranged some highly potent Induction Powder around the area, intending to use its scent to lure predatory beasts away. 0

There was nothing suspicious about this place, but the Induction Powder emitted a scent that was incredibly appealing to living creatures. Some had a meaty aroma, while others carried the fragrance of herbivores, and there were even some unique scents. This was also the Avoiding Dangerous Prey Bait they had exchanged for, which was very expensive and could not be bought in bulk. Right now, they needed rest more than anything else; even two hours would suffice. As long as they could recharge their energy, they could think of ways to get out of here. 0

By the time they returned, everything in the tent was arranged. They had dug a large pit in the sand and covered it with some Camouflage material—essentially sand that blended into the surrounding terrain. From a distance, it still looked like an unbroken landscape, without any noticeable changes. However, any creatures passing by would likely perceive it as normal. Here, they could rest and eat something; at other times, they wouldn’t dare do so for fear that the scent would attract other Predators. 0

"I've set everything up," Ross said. "You all should be ready too. Now we need to rest; no one is on guard duty this time. Everyone must get enough sleep. When you wake up, we’ll figure out how to get out of here. I don’t know how much farther we have to go, but whether you feel sleepy or not, you all need to sleep." 0

Though everyone understood the importance of this directive instinctively, they each found a spot to settle down and sleep. 0
