"This Burrower is quite extraordinary," they thought, feeling a sudden urge to retreat. 0

It seemed that the Burrower, having witnessed its tribe being systematically eliminated, was filled with a strong desire for revenge. The swelling power was continuously displayed on its muscular frame, a force so unusual that even Freyr could not believe he could ever attain such a state. 0

Perhaps this was the kind of strength that humanity possessed back then. Maybe modern humans had lost the passion driven by the law of the jungle; although wisdom had replaced brute strength, leading to evolution. 0

However, the Burrower had maintained its original way of life. They had become a divergent branch, where power replaced much of their wisdom. Yet, this did not mean that the Burrower lacked intelligence; it was possible that within their tribe there existed a strategist who orchestrated their plans. 0

In Burrower culture, they revered the aesthetics of violence but held great respect for the wise Burrowers known as Same Kind. If there were such a wise prophet within their tribe, it would surely be a tremendous honor. 0

When one tribe attacked another, it was likely for territory, food, or women. The most probable reason was to covet the military strength of the opposing side. Considering these factors, life for the Burrower was not as idyllic as one might imagine. 0

Their existence revolved around combat and hunting, which explained their wild strength. The Gauss Sniper Rifle fired again with a sharp crack as the Caveman Chief dodged the bullet and charged straight toward a concealed position. 0

He aimed directly at Relock, then swung his Wooden Stick down forcefully onto the ground, causing it to tremble with a resounding noise. 0

Relock had no time to evade; suddenly, three or four sharp stones rose beside him and surrounded him completely. The stones imprisoned him like a cell, rendering him unable to lift his weapon. The structure of the Sniper Rifle, resembling a long gun with a scope, allowed for kills from miles away. While many soldiers possessed the traits of a Sharpshooter, true snipers were rare gems among them. Fortunately for Relock, he had been trained as a sniper, but now his only usable skill was blocked; he couldn't even lift his rifle, and the stones pinned him down so tightly that he struggled to move at all. His chest was painfully compressed, and soon after, the Sniper Rifle slipped from his grasp. 0

The stones hovered three or four meters above ground; even from this position, retrieving his gun seemed impossible—he could barely move at all. 0

Meanwhile, others on the other side were frightened; Parker became the second target hunted. Although his Gauss Pistol was powerful and difficult to evade, when it struck the Caveman Chief, it only penetrated a few centimeters into his flesh. The density of those muscles was akin to diamond hardness; it was hard to imagine what kind of weapon could inflict damage upon him. 0

The bullet seemed to have only penetrated a few centimeters. He moved with the agility of a leopard, then struck with the ferocity of a lion, grabbing Parker and throwing him over his head, slamming him hard onto the ground. His forehead hit the earth, and although he did not die, it was clear that his features twisted in pain, indicating he had likely lost consciousness. 0

In just a moment, within a span of ten seconds, Parker was pinned to the ground. 0

This explosive speed was truly terrifying. The Caveman Chief turned to look again, swinging his arms as he charged toward Xiong Tai. Xiong Tai had already unleashed the power of Immense Strength, and the two began exchanging blows in a fierce contest. One of Burrower's eyes flushed red, his muscles appearing even more powerful. 0

Then came another counterattack; their hands locked together. This time, Xiong Tai's Immense Strength began to be suppressed. It seemed that Xiong Tai's strength had reached an Ultimate level. Once again, they found themselves in a stalemate. Xiong Tai's Gene Lock was suddenly released; although his rank wasn't very high, it was still a cooperative activation. On the other hand, it was evident that aside from Gene Chain, there were no additional attributes enhancing his opponent's abilities. The combination of Immense Strength and Gene Lock left Burrower with no opportunities to exploit. 0

"Attack quickly! Don't give him a chance! I can barely hold this guy down!" Xiong Tai cried out in a strange tone of distress. His arm appeared nearly swollen, yet it seemed he still had Burrower firmly in his grip, likely utilizing the ability known as Restraint. 0

Restraint was a self-imposed command to complete a task, accompanied by a curse that dictated dire consequences if one failed—possibly death. The stronger the curse level, the greater the power it bestowed. It seemed that Xiong Tai's strength was being channeled into this aspect. 0

At that moment, Loros grabbed a Feather from behind and removed the Strong Bow from his shoulder. The Feather bore an Alchemical arrowhead; even powerful creatures could not survive under such mysterious forces. A human struck by this arrow would likely have their soul shattered—ghosts would struggle to endure it. 0

"Once you draw the bow, there's no turning back! Hold him tight!" Loros shouted. Xiong Tai nodded immediately and turned his head away. 0

A strong spiral Airflow suddenly erupted. The sharp golden Feather transformed into a laser that shot forward, targeting Xiong Tai's throat. It pierced through and vanished without a trace. 0

Burrower's grip suddenly loosened as he trembled backward, his muscles stiffening before he knelt on the ground. Xiong Tai let out a deep sigh of relief and kicked Burrower's head away. He felt that this creature possessed some intelligence; however, compared to humans—advanced mammals with higher intellect—Burrower was merely an inferior being relying solely on brute force. 0

Yet the strength displayed could indeed be described as Divine Power. He squeezed his swollen arm tightly; several finger marks were imprinted on it. The intensity of this force was truly terrifying. Soon after, he freed himself from the side effects of Gene Lock, drenched in sweat with a thick layer of cold perspiration on his back. 0

On the other side, stones fell as if they had lost their enchantment. Relock tumbled to the ground, shouldering his gun while gasping for breath deeply. Meanwhile, Parker lay on the ground until others helped him up; he pressed hard on his chest several times before eventually awakening with heavy breaths. 0

It seemed that in his dream, he was also battling such a monster, his face turning a shade of blue and purple, possibly due to the nightmare. The side effects of that fainting spell were indeed quite severe. 0
