Continuing down the path, the surroundings gradually became enveloped in greenery. As far as the eye could see, there were grasses taller than a person, and at a distance of just two meters, they might not even catch a glimpse of each other's figures. Thus, their pace slowed significantly. 0

Not only that, but various Parasite Beasts lingered around them. Some resembled mice, while others hung from the treetops like Sloths. Despite their seemingly adorable appearances, many had met their demise at the hands of these creatures. Relying solely on Dust to fool them was futile; although these beasts could still sense the smell of raw meat, they seemed hesitant to approach. This was likely due to the mushroom cells lingering on the Dust. Once they figured it out, they would no longer be deterred by its powdery threat. 0

After all, those few cells posed no real danger to them. They were Bacteria, meant to be eradicated within this symbiotic system. The only exception was the group of people sprinkled with mushroom powder who somehow managed to reach this place without encountering any casualties along the way. 0

As they stepped out of the grassy area, suddenly, the ground ahead shook violently. Clearly, footsteps were approaching them—an odd individual swaying unsteadily, appearing extremely weak. 0

As one of the Parasite Beasts known as the Dominant Tiger, it had sustained severe injuries. Its claws were worn down and it looked to be in great pain. 0

Everyone saw it; the Dominant Tiger gazed at its prey with a look of disbelief but could not move an inch. The brief pause seemed to have exacerbated its injuries. The structure of life is such that when a desperate being wanders through a desert, it can rely on sheer Willpower to keep moving forward without carrying anything—even going without water—but as soon as a thought of giving up flickers in their mind, they may never find their way out again. It lacked even the courage to stand; this was not merely physical exhaustion but a complete loss of hope for survival. 0

The Dominant Tiger's condition mirrored that despair; its eyes were fixed ahead as if facing an enemy army. Yet what could it do? It appeared gravely injured, with leaves stuck to its forehead—likely a consequence of an encounter with the Plant Army. It should never have attacked the mushroom's Plant Army; perhaps it was simply too hungry. 0

But what difference did that make? Who would fear a prey on the brink of death? That threat was insufficient. When in good health, no one could harm the Dominant Tiger. The six individuals before it would surely be slaughtered one by one if it were at full strength. It felt like a cruel joke that it encountered these hunters now. 0

The sight of the Dominant Tiger was truly pitiful; it had begun to fester and was clearly subjected to brutal torment by the Plant Army. Yet somehow, it had managed to survive against all odds. 0

Freyr acted swiftly; before anyone else could react, he lunged forward with a fierce stab. Following him was Xiong Tai wielding his Wolf Fang Club. The Dominant Tiger's agility allowed it to evade Freyr's lethal strike, but ultimately it succumbed to its own condition. Had its leg not been broken, it might have been able to retaliate against Xiong Tai. 0

Xiong Tai was clearly gathering strength; his powerful impact drove down into the tiger's spine. With a pained cry, the Dominant Tiger collapsed and breathed its last breath—one strike was all it took for this mighty beast to meet its end. Even if left alone afterward, any random mouse encountered on the road would soon claim its life. 0

This fierce tiger truly put up a fight; soon after, its body was tossed into a ring for safekeeping. 0

This time, the harvest should be even better. It is estimated that the Dominant Tiger's Reward Points should be over 100, and they managed to kill one without much effort, which would certainly astonish others when they bring it back. This encounter happened at the mountain peak with a Parasite Beast, whose average strength is only slightly below the Apocalyptic Level. Achieving this is indeed an impressive feat. 0

"Damn it, it took a lot of strength; it's really tough," Xiong Tai gasped, clearly exhausted from the effort. 0

Once he caught his breath, they continued on. They knew this place was very unsafe, but they never expected it to be so grim. The ground was littered with bones, creating a rather eerie atmosphere. 0

Suddenly, they realized just how dangerous this area was and quickly began to run. To escape this place, they had to avoid the encroachment of the Plant Army. If they got entangled, those Parasite Beasts would tear them apart; for humans of their strength level, it would likely mean death. 0

Following the path ahead, they finally reached the end of this second area, where the third section, known as Underworld Road, lay ahead. 0

Mushrooms were located in the center of that mist, but it seemed as if the mist was isolated. The echoes at that boundary were quite pronounced. 0

Then they saw a squirrel-like Parasite Beast enter the mist. Shortly after, a shadow suddenly emerged from within, followed by a horrific scream as muscles were torn apart. 0

It was indeed a terrifying sound. Could they continue forward? The most bizarre aspect of Underworld Road was that thick white mist that refused to dissipate. 0

"What was that shadow?" Parker asked. 0

"Don't worry about what it is; just follow me. No matter what you see or hear, ignore it. One misstep could mean death. Silence is the best solution compared to dying," Ross replied with a smile. 0

"Alright then, let's keep moving," Freyr said as he removed his Oxygen Mask, taking a deep breath to regain clear vision. Walking in that White Mist while wearing an Oxygen Mask was indeed cumbersome; it felt very awkward. Continuing forward seemed like the best course of action. 0

The mist wouldn't disappear on its own, so there was no point in waiting. Rather than waste time, it was better to slow down and take one step at a time. Over time, fatigue was inevitable; in fact, when they took their first step, everyone felt as if they were walking on a tightrope. 0

But it was only slightly thicker than a wire, and their legs couldn't walk parallel; they had to place one foot in front of the other, keeping their heels steady, and they couldn't sway to avoid disturbing others. However, if this was what they called the Underworld Road, it was nothing compared to what they had faced. The people above wouldn't see clearly what lay beneath their feet. If there was a cliff below and they discovered that they were standing on thin ropes, wouldn't that only heighten their fear? 0
