The entire being fell into a state of enlightenment. When the eyes finally opened, the pupils resembled thick layers of frost, breaths coming and going intermittently, as if isolated from the world. This self-realization, this understanding of the environment, was merely a prelude to comprehending the dominion over all things—a step that ordinary people would find exceedingly challenging. 0

Although it began with realization, it ultimately required the acknowledgment of all things and the ability to harmonize with them. The so-called awakening of Ability was nothing more than gaining permission from the universe to form capabilities upon that foundation. In truth, the powers of all things could be categorized into several types. 0

The more powerful the ability, the more time it required for comprehension and exploration. Throughout each person's life, opportunities often linger nearby; yet many fail to open the door to miracles and seize those chances. If one could grasp such an opportunity, they could stride toward success, with the final step of enlightenment serving as the ultimate threshold. 0

Two years prior, Freyr had already begun his training at this last threshold. Unintentionally, he had stumbled into this state of awareness. His sensory perception was at an Ultimate level, allowing him to fully witness a clear golden Aura enveloping Good's body. This Aura was referred to as an Aura Band—a manifestation of Ability. 0

It was precisely due to the existence of the Aura Band that individuals like him could perform feats akin to Ability. 0

Of course, Freyr did not fully understand what constituted Ability; its power felt distant and unattainable. Although he could observe the residual influence emanating from the Aura Band, this situation was unprecedented for him and left him feeling particularly isolated. The dim light urged by his Ultimate senses birthed a magnificent spectacle reminiscent of a microbial ocean. 0

These Auras were interspersed with strange colors—vibrant and diverse—each exuding an aura that demanded solitude, all possessing similarly large, pebble-sized particles of Aura. 0

Strangely enough, no matter how friendly one approached an Aura, it deliberately avoided its brilliance. Yet other circumstances arose; several types of Aura particles simultaneously surrounded his body—not out of aversion but rather a peculiar blend that seemed equally strange. 0

He extended his hand in an attempt to draw one cluster of Aura closer. As the light particles made contact with his skin, they flickered violently before vanishing. Other light particles exhibited similar behavior; a sensation akin to electric shock coursed through his skin—a remarkably subtle feeling. 0

It felt somewhat like an out-of-body experience or as if Yuan Shen were perceiving everything around him. At that moment, numerous starry seas in front of him shifted positions and rapidly approached him like a moving vortex. Before long, he found himself on the verge of being engulfed by its center; strange light particles flickered and extinguished upon touching his skin. 0

With a soft pop~~ 0

The resonant sound of destruction echoed continuously as Freyr at the center experienced a numbing sensation akin to electric shock. He had no idea how long this situation would persist but managed to endure it nonetheless. However, it brought him considerable trouble; two chains outside Gene Lock frequently unraveled, slightly alleviating the direct damage he sustained. 0

But the release of the Gene Chain merely alleviated the pain, and the lingering discomfort only intensified the primal instinct for killing. He had basically learned to endure and control this instinct, but once the injuries from the Gene Chain faded away, his body would weaken again, and those injuries would resurface. 0

"Countless auras will touch your skin if you are willing to embrace them. But that is not the main point; those auras that cannot accept the disparity of your body will self-destruct. The remaining auras are close to you yet will not perish; they are your innate Ability. Try to accept it and communicate sincerely!" Good's voice suddenly resonated in his Ear. 0

At that moment, Good's voice felt like a lifeline, yet he had to persist through the electric-like pain coursing through his body. At the same time, numerous sparkling points of light surged toward him. 0

In the next instant, he felt as if his very soul was trembling, as if his body had become a charged conductor, completely numb to any pain—his entire cranial cavity seemed electrified. 0

Strangely enough, the Aura Bands before him had vanished, leaving the entire space dim and lifeless. The absence of those luminous entities made everything feel so lonely and cold, amplifying his sense of helplessness. These negative emotions erupted within him, leaving only one word to describe his current state: despair. 0

It was an unprecedented despair. When one’s loneliness is magnified to such an extent, it creates an overwhelming urge to seek help from others, yet there was not a single person around. Even if there were, it would be futile; the final threshold of enlightenment had surpassed what his physical body could endure, resulting in his Yuan Shen detaching. 0

"How can there be no one? This is impossible." 0

The first sensation was one of utter astonishment. Looking around, he truly found that every corner was devoid of light. Any Aura that touched his skin began to crumble; if these Aura Bands were not capable of regeneration, it would have been disastrous. Everything stemmed from nature's regenerative system; it wasn't that the system provided him with subpar Aura Bands. Perhaps apart from this thought, his innate ability itself was worthless—so even natural forces acting upon him might not yield significant effects. Was he really so unwilling to compromise that he would rather self-destruct? 0

After searching for a long time and deeply experiencing a sense of loneliness and helplessness, Freya became increasingly anxious. After several more moments passed, he felt a tickle at the back of his neck as a cluster of azure Aura Band particles floated out. Most of the light points exploded, but among them were still thousands left; only one remained, appearing ethereal and insubstantial. 0

At this point, he could no longer afford to hesitate. He quickly reached out to grasp the azure light particle before him. Upon contact, the particle trembled slightly; though it looked insubstantial, it surprisingly had a tangible structure. 0

It brought no sensations; was this light particle truly his intimate Ability? Although he didn’t understand how to utilize it yet, deep within his subconscious instincts lay a vague concept: as long as he uttered its name, it would be akin to forming a binding contract. 0

"What is the name?! Gaia!" As he spoke the name aloud, that azure Aura Band seemed on the verge of vanishing. Instinctively moving slightly as he pronounced it, a powerful energy surged into his chest center, forehead, and just above his navel. 0

The Three-in-One Contract, a pact sealed by fate, manifested as writhing text appearing on the forehead, chest, and navel. This must be the form of the Life-Binding Contract. Once the contract was established, even the Yuan Shen rapidly descended. 0
