Early the next morning, Zhao Yang and his eleven companions bid farewell to the abbot of Xuanfo Temple and the Four Great Monks before heading toward the Southern Domain Sky-reaching Forest.
This group of eleven included Long Xiao Wu, Song Baliang, Nangong Wuxin, Scholar Xiu, Yu Qingsnow, Liu Rou, Yuan Shu, and three other monks who were close friends of Zhao Yang and Song Baliang. The Beautiful Lady smiled gently and replied, "I heard that Zhao Yang had arrived, so I came out early. My daughter is infatuated with him and has already run off to Zhongzhou, forgetting even her mother. I just wanted to see for myself the most outstanding man in the Five Elements Continent."
Zhao Yang realized from the conversation between the Demon Empress and the Beautiful Lady that the person before him was none other than the Demon Queen, Azure Phoenix, who had returned to her human form. "Zhao Yang pays his respects to the Demon Queen."
The Demon Queen covered her face and laughed, saying, "In the future, we may be family. No need to be so formal."
Zhao Yang nearly choked on her words and blushed slightly as he replied, "Demon Queen, I... I already have a wife."
"Wife?" The Demon Queen's face showed a hint of mischief as she fixed her gaze on Zhao Yang. "You are clearly still a pure yang body, having never been with a woman. How can you claim to have a wife? Do you think my daughter Bai Xi is unworthy of you?"

Zhao Yang then recounted everything that had transpired over the past few months to the Demon Empress—from awakening Ginseng King to encountering Ji Wudao, slaying Sword Saint, uncovering the Zhao Clan Imperial Family's conspiracy, the resurrection of countless Old Monsters from failed Tribulation Periods thousands of years ago, being ambushed at Xuanfo Temple, meeting Yuan Lie and the High Priest at Hundred Birds Night Market, the High Priest's schemes against the demon realm, Herb Immortal's existence in this world, and finally informing her about the invasion of the demon clan that led to the destruction of You Xian Sect and Overlord Sect among the Five Great Sects.
The Demon Empress pondered for a moment and said, "I never expected so many events to unfold. My demon clan has lived in peace for hundreds of years without provoking the human race. Who is that High Priest, and why does he want to target our demon realm?"
Zhao Yang replied, "The High Priest has an extraordinary background. In short, his power is on par with yours, even rivaling the Xuanbing Buddha. Moreover, he is over three thousand years old, making him one of the longest-living beings in the entire Five Elements Continent. No one knows what he truly intends to do."
Upon hearing this, the Demon Queen spoke up, "I have heard that the Xuanbing Buddha is the foundation of the Xuanfo Temple, and no one knows his true age. The High Priest was able to injure the Xuanbing Buddha?"
Zhao Yang nodded and said, "The High Priest's original name is Wu Rong. He was once a servant to the Xuanbing Buddha before he attained enlightenment. He served the Xuanbing Buddha since childhood, but an incident led Wu Rong to betray him, killing countless cultivators to practice the Evil Technique. I don't know what Cultivation Method he is using, but with his cultivation level, ascending to the heavenly realm should be no problem. Yet, he has been evading the Xuanbing Buddha for three thousand years."
The Demon Empress sighed and said, "If my guesses are correct, he has three possible objectives. One is to seek the Spirit of All Demons, which is the soul of the demon mother from the Ancient Immortal period. If he obtains it, he could become truly invincible. The second possibility is that he is searching for the Ancestral Land of the dragon clan to find the treasure of the Ancestor of Ten Thousand Dragons. It is said that this treasure concerns the entire dragon clan's aura; if he acquires it, the consequences would be unimaginable."
"And what about the third possibility?" Zhao Yang pressed.
The Demon Empress looked at Zhao Yang and said, "The third possibility is for you."
