After Zhao Yang led the villagers back to the village, it was already past noon. Along the way, the villagers praised him endlessly, though they also vaguely understood that the many deaths at the Rice Shop were likely his doing, leaving them both in awe and fear of him. As agreed, Zhao Yang had each household carry back a bag of rice, and after exchanging a few words with his parents, he hurriedly ran towards the back mountain with several pounds of pork from the pot.

"Why did you come so late? What have you been up to?" Sun Wukong asked knowingly.
"Hehe, Master, I suppose you already know without me saying, right? I brought you some freshly cooked pork; it smells delicious. You can eat while we talk."
"Hmph, at such a young age, you've already committed such acts of slaughter. You could have just killed those responsible; why take innocent lives too?"
Zhao Yang sighed and replied, "Master, you don't understand. You're used to being alone; you kill whoever offends you without worrying about others targeting your loved ones. But I have family. If I don't eliminate their entire clan, one day when I'm not around my family, they might suffer."
Sun Wukong listened and found his reasoning sound. He took the pork from Zhao Yang and said while eating, "I suppose you make a good point."
"Hehe, Master, what are you going to teach me today? I can't wait!"
"Hmph, wanting to run before you've even learned anything? Without Old Sun giving you two doses of True Qi, do you think you could kill anyone with your mere Qi Refinement Stage cultivation?"
Zhao Yang quickly smiled and said, "Master, how is your True Qi so powerful? Is there something special about it?"
Sun Wukong replied proudly, "Of course! Do you think the True Qi I give you is ordinary True Qi?"
"What kind of energy is it then?"
"As a cultivator, if you are not clear about the divisions and distinctions within the cultivation world, let me, Old Sun, explain the levels of this realm to you today. There are nine major realms in the cultivation world: Refining Qi, Foundation Establishment, Core Formation, Transcendence, Primordial Infant, Dao Fruit, Mahayana, Transcend Tribulation, and Ascend. Beyond these is immortality. Each realm is further divided into nine stages: the first to third stages are considered early stage, the fourth to sixth stages are mid-stage, and the seventh to ninth stages are late stage. The aptitude of cultivators is extremely important, especially during the early stages of cultivation, as it greatly affects a cultivator's speed of advancement and true combat power. Although your cultivation level is at the third stage of Qi Refinement, if you encounter someone with exceptional aptitude, you would definitely not be their match."
"Why is that, Master? What do you mean by aptitude? Please explain."
"Aptitude refers to the Spiritual Root. Spiritual Roots can be classified into various types such as Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Rain, Thunder, Lightning, Ice, and so on. The differences in Spiritual Roots lead to varying speeds of cultivation and strengths of techniques. For example, someone born with a Single Attribute Spiritual Root has a high affinity for a specific elemental attribute and possesses only one attribute; thus, their cultivation speed is the fastest and their spells are the purest. Such individuals are undoubtedly geniuses. Then there are those with Dual Attribute Spiritual Roots; if their attributes complement each other well, their cultivation speed is also among the fastest. However, since they have to focus on two attributes simultaneously within the same timeframe, they will be slightly slower than those with Single Attribute Spiritual Roots. Next come those with Triple Attribute Spiritual Roots and so on up to Five Spiritual Roots."
"Wait a moment, Master. You just mentioned that Spiritual Roots include Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Rain, Thunder, Lightning, Ice... How can it only go up to Five Spiritual Roots? What about Six Spiritual Roots?"
"There are no Six Spiritual Roots. At least I haven't seen anyone with Six or more Spiritual Roots during my hundreds of years wandering through this cultivation realm. Even if such individuals exist, they would probably just be ordinary people. Having multiple attributes mixed together leads to extremely slow cultivation speeds. "Ahem! Your Spiritual Root was originally supposed to be Three Spiritual Roots. The True Qi within you is called Chaotic Qi; therefore your Spiritual Root should be named Chaotic Root. Zhao Yang was both shocked and delighted upon hearing this. In his previous life while reading novels he often came across the term "chaos." Wasn't Chaotic Root akin to being a body of chaos? It represented the primordial state before heaven and earth were formed. Thinking of this made him smile broadly as he envisioned himself wielding Chaos in his palms to manipulate the sun and moon while standing atop the world as its foremost being. However, he failed to notice that Sun Wukong's eyes glinted mischievously as he chewed on meat.
"Master! Is my Chaotic Root as impressive as that of geniuses with Single Attribute Spiritual Roots?" Zhao Yang asked eagerly.
Sun Wukong replied without hesitation: "Those with Chaotic Roots can suppress anyone with any other type of Spiritual Root when fighting; you can rest assured about that."
"Haha! Then won't I become number one in the world in the future? Master! You truly are my idol, my god, my savior! Am I going to establish my foundation soon and then breeze through Core Formation like it's nothing? Forget it; I'll just Ascend directly!" Zhao Yang thought excitedly while murmuring joyfully.
A large bead of sweat appeared on Sun Wukong's forehead as he thought to himself: "Perhaps I shouldn't tell this kid everything after all. I don't have any Heavenly Materials or Earthly Treasures or thousand-year Holy Medicines right now; I'll just waste some of my own cultivation over these three years to secretly boost him by three or five levels—he can figure out the rest himself later."
"Cough, cough," Sun Wukong cleared his throat and said seriously, "Disciple, listen carefully. This Chaotic Qi, although it is Supreme Chaos Qi, has a unique property. Once it condenses within a cultivator's body, it cannot be taken away by anyone. "I understand, Master. Disciple will work twice as hard," Zhao Yang replied earnestly.
"You understand nothing," Sun Wukong thought to himself. "I don't even know if I can convert Spirit Energy into Chaos True Qi, or how much can actually be converted." Out loud, he said, "Well, as long as you understand. When you reach the Qi Refinement Stage, you'll be able to absorb Spirit Energy from the surrounding environment. Right now, you're not yet a true cultivator, so you can't absorb Spirit Energy from the outside world. However, since you already have Chaotic Qi in your body, Old Sun will start teaching you some skills."
Hearing that Sun Wukong was going to teach him skills made Zhao Yang's heart race with excitement once again; he could clearly hear his own heartbeat.
