Yinshan Yang Family was established a thousand years ago. A millennium ago, the Yang Family Ancestor stumbled upon half of a book. After mastering its contents, he faced no rivals and ultimately founded the hidden family at Yin Mountain, which has thrived for a thousand years. 0

Throughout the generations, the Yang Family Head has been searching for the other half of the book. According to ancestral teachings, the second half contains forbidden techniques that could allow one to reverse the path against immortals. During the Dark Turmoil Period, a member of the Supreme Yang Family discovered clues about the second half of the book within the first half, suggesting that it might be the Book of Time. 0

The art of time manipulation is known as the foremost forbidden technique throughout history. Anyone who masters it can be hunted down, and the most likely location for the second half of the book is Rear Kunlun. 0

The Yaochi Sacred Land divides Kunlun into Former Kunlun and Rear Kunlun. Without eliminating Yaochi, one cannot enter Rear Kunlun to search for clues about the second half of the book. One major reason why the Old Scholar sought to eliminate Yaochi was indeed related to this book. However, with the vastness of Kunlun, searching proved extremely difficult. The Old Scholar searched for two years without finding any trace, ultimately leading to a dead end. 0

"Do you know any clues about the second half of the Yang Family book?" I asked. 0

The Old Scholar replied, "The second half is hidden within Kunlun. Back in my day, I pinpointed its location in the northwest corner of Kunlun based on clues. However, after opening a sealed Ancient Cave, I found that its mechanisms had been tampered with, as if someone had taken something from there. Over all those years, aside from Song Qianqiu, I haven't seen anyone master the Time Forbidden Technique. So I didn't investigate further." 0

Guo Daozhen said, "You need to hand over the first half of the book now." 0

The Old Scholar squinted his eyes, hesitating for a moment before pulling out a handkerchief filled with golden inscriptions from his pocket. Guo Daozhen took the golden handkerchief into his hands and examined it for a while, his brow furrowing as confusion spread across his face. 0

The Old Scholar remarked, "Not everyone can learn from this book." 0

Guo Daozhen handed me the first half of the book. As soon as it touched my hands, my body instinctively activated the Martial Dao Classic, deciphering its contents. The golden handkerchief emitted a radiant glow as countless characters flew out and floated in mid-air. The characters shimmered like waves of water, illuminating the secret chamber brightly. 0

Then, these characters methodically merged into my body, causing the golden handkerchief to lose its luster. 0

"Is there going to be a problem?" Zhou Manman asked with some concern. 0

I shook my head, confusion appearing in my eyes as my form suddenly began to blur. 0

"You dare to harm others even when death is imminent!" Guo Daozhen shouted angrily, slamming his palm towards the Old Scholar. 0

"Old Guo," I interrupted Guo Daozhen, feeling a wave of dizziness wash over me. "I believe the content of this book is somewhat similar to a certain Cultivation Method I learned. Perhaps I inadvertently glimpsed the latter half while stealing knowledge from various Dao Jing during my studies of the Martial Dao Classic." 0

As soon as I finished speaking, I suddenly vanished from the Secret Cave. 0

"Yang Hao!" Zhou Manman and Guo Daozhen called out my name, their brows furrowed in concern. 0

At this moment, my strength had not yet recovered, and my body was weak. I could hardly withstand the burden of the Spatial Dao Technique's transfer. In reality, I had not left; I stood exactly where I had been moments before. It was just that no one in the secret chamber could see me—not even myself. 0

This feeling was terrifying, akin to a soul dissipating after death. If a remnant soul retained even a trace of consciousness from its former life, it would be unable to see or touch itself, like dust floating in the air, eternally drifting through the world. 0

"What have you done to him?" Zhou Manman’s face revealed a murderous intent as she struck the Old Scholar, sending him flying against the wall with her powerful Dao Qi. 0

The Old Scholar said, "What he saw just now was indeed a book. The Cultivation Method varies from person to person. The Yang Family Ancestor saw the Great Void Technique; during the Dark Turmoil Period, my grandfather saw the Prophecy Technique; my father saw the Transcendent Hand; I saw One Qi Transforming into Three Purities; Yang Xuanzong saw Transform Reality into Illusion; Yang Sanqian saw Blowing Immortal Technique. Each person sees something different. Yang Hao is exceptionally talented; viewing the book through the Martial Dao Classic will inevitably lead to unusual occurrences. It is not my intention to harm him!" 0

Zhou Manman withdrew her Dao Qi, and the Old Scholar slid down from the wall. She asked, "What should we do now? How can we bring him back?" 0

The Old Scholar replied, "If the Great Zhou Compass were intact, I could locate his position. But now that it is damaged, we can only rely on him. Before he disappeared, he felt that the content of the book resembled a certain Cultivation Method he learned. It is very likely that he has mastered the latter half of the book but does not know how to apply it. Now that he has learned the entire book but lacks sufficient Dao Qi within him, he must have fallen into Time-Space Turbulence." 0

"Time-Space Turbulence?" Zhou Manman asked in confusion. 0

The Old Scholar explained, "Time-Space Turbulence exists between the past and future. This is an ancient prophecy; those who have not studied time techniques will not understand its specifics. Yang Hao now possesses the ability to shuttle through time and space. If he sees something and wishes to change the past or future, he will remain trapped in that time and space forever. Altering history will inevitably cause Time-Space Turbulence; perhaps by then we will not even remember such a person existed. The world may be destroyed because of it." 0

Zhou Manman looked at Guo Daozhen, who was at a loss for what to do. A murderous intent flashed across his face as he glanced at the Snake Goddess and the Old Scholar. Yunxi said, "Let's spare them this time. Yang Hao has disappeared, so we should return to Qingliang Mountain first." 0

Guo Daozhen hesitated for a moment before putting away the broken Great Zhou Compass. He then approached the Old Scholar and coldly said, "Hand over the Book of Life and Death." 0

Seeing Guo Daozhen's fierce demeanor, the Old Scholar pointed towards a tree stump. Guo Daozhen used his Dao Qi to shake the stump, revealing a black brocade box hidden inside. The brown brocade box split open under the influence of Dao Qi, and a black book enveloped in runes floated in the air. Guo Daozhen took the Book of Life and Death into his sleeve and temporarily sealed it with Dao Qi. He glanced at the Old Scholar and said, "I'll let you go this time. The Yang Family was destroyed because of you, and now you're all alone. Take care of yourself." 0

With that, Guo Daozhen left the Yang Family's Underground Palace with Zhou Manman. 0

I watched as Zhou Manman and Guo Daozhen departed. The Snake Goddess chuckled softly, removed her tentacles, and leaned against the wall as she walked out of the Underground Palace. 0

I also exited the Underground Palace. The bright light forced me to close my eyes; I felt dizzy, and when I opened my eyes again, I found myself in an Ancient Village. 0

My form gradually became visible, transparent and blurry like a spirit. I saw many giant beasts attacking this Ancient Village. The villagers fought back with crude weapons against the beasts, but it was like striking a stone with an egg; they were slaughtered by the giants. 0

One villager managed to escape into the deep mountains after losing many comrades. Time passed like frames of film flipping by; the villagers lived in fear and suffering. I stood there for just a moment but felt as if I witnessed their entire lives: a boy grew from babbling to marrying and having children, battling monsters, only to grow old as giant beasts attacked their homeland. He was abandoned by his family at the village's edge; he looked up at me with confusion on his face and asked who I was. 0

"Can you see me?" I asked. 0

The old man wiped his tears and was about to speak when a rushing beast knocked him to the ground. He looked at me for help, but as I took a step forward, I recalled the Old Scholar's words: if I saw something and wanted to change the past or future, I would be trapped in that time forever. This was clearly an era dominated by beasts, existing in ancient times—not my own era. I shook my head helplessly as I watched him be torn apart by the monster. 0

In the mountain village, many villagers were slaughtered by beasts when suddenly a deafening roar echoed through the air. All the beasts halted their movements and turned towards a certain direction before rushing off; there came a tremendous flash of sword light. 0

I stepped forward towards where the sword light originated. A young man wielding a long sword cleaved a snow-white Fox Demon in two. The Fox Demon had six tails behind it, clearly indicating it was a skilled spirit fox. The young man took its inner core in hand and crushed it violently; its inner core shattered into Demon Spirit energy that nourished the surrounding area. All the beasts that had rushed over prostrated themselves before him. With a snort, he swept his sword across, killing every beast in sight. 0

"This doesn't seem like sword energy. It's an ancient technique of Qi manipulation, similar to Refiner?" I said. 0

The villagers around me worshipped the young man, chanting a name, Li Er. 0

"Are you Laozi Li Er?" I asked in confusion. 0

Upon hearing my voice, Li Er turned to look at me, his eyes filled with deep bewilderment. Then, he manipulated his Qi and vanished amidst the villagers' chants. 0

Thousands of years ago, Laozi Li Er wielded a sword, sweeping away the beasts and slaying the Refiner who controlled human forces. In his later years, he founded the Daoist Sect. So, was I in the era of Laozi Li Er? 0

I wandered through this age, witnessing the struggles and proliferation of various tribes during the Pre-Qin period. Until I arrived at a familiar mountain, Qingliang Mountain. 0

At that time, there was no temple on Qingliang Mountain, only a massive willow tree that towered a hundred feet high, revered as a divine tree. Beneath Qingliang Mountain knelt thousands of people. Under the willow tree, an old man said, "Since I founded Daoism and swept away the beasts, for decades now, the Daoist Sect has risen with numerous sects. My disciple Yang Sanqian must remember my words and pass down the teachings for the sake of all living beings." 0

"The disciple will faithfully follow the teachings of Dao Sovereign Ancestor," everyone below responded in unison. 0

I landed beneath the giant willow tree. Li Er looked at me with a puzzled expression and said, "Young man, I feel like I've seen you somewhere before." 0

I bowed to Li Er, and time and space shifted, bringing me to hover above a wealthy household. A servant was crying over a woman's body; she had already passed away. The servant wept heart-wrenchingly and said, "Mother, I will avenge you! I swear it!" 0

I didn't understand why I was here. As I watched this servant, I saw his growth from childhood to adolescence and then to middle age. He killed countless righteous masters and evil cult leaders along his path. He called himself a demon. After being severely injured in a challenge against the contemporary Dao Sovereign, he attempted to comprehend the Dao by scattering his Three Souls and Seven Spirits across ten thousand realms to grasp the Three Thousand Avenues. Ultimately, he died in regret; before his death, he witnessed the contemporary Dao Sovereign transcend tribulation and ascend amidst the Nine Thunder Tribulation's cleansing, his soul shattered as he displayed an expression of Rabbit Dies, Fox Feels Sad. 0

In this flow of time and space, I observed hundreds of renowned Daoist masters throughout history. Among them were extraordinary talents striving for breakthroughs in understanding the Dao. Yet they all met tragic ends—either their Nascent Soul withered away or they were torn apart by lightning tribulations. There was even one master practicing Blood Demon Technique who simultaneously sought enlightenment; he broke through physical limitations with his Dao Body and surpassed the strength of the contemporary Dao Sovereign but ultimately perished under the Nine Thunder Tribulation as well. 0

I even saw the Serpent Cult's Serpent God, the Mud Buddha from Nanhai Guanyin Monastery, the White-Browed Ancestor of Emei Mountain, and Zhang Sanfeng, the Founding Ancestor of Wudang. 0

These individuals were unparalleled powerhouses who shone brilliantly throughout the annals of history. I would be by their side at both their births and deaths. 0

As time moved to the Dark Turmoil Period, I witnessed the young Yu Xuanliang listening to a play in The Pear Garden of the capital. In the elegant box above, there sat a middle-aged man with an ethereal demeanor. 0

I appeared beside the middle-aged man and respectfully asked, "Are you Dao Sovereign Wu Zhenqing?" 0

Wu Zhenqing looked at me, a hint of surprise crossing his face. He turned to glance at the two unaware guards outside the door and said, "For thousands of years, there have been rumors that every unparalleled powerhouse would meet a young person who exists between the past and future. Over the years, I have longed to see you, and I never expected you would finally appear." 0

I replied, "Wu Zhenren truly deserves to be called an Unparalleled Daoist Master; you are aware of these secrets. I have come for a short time and wish to ask you a few questions." 0

"Feel free," Wu Zhenqing said. 0

I continued, "In the future world, there is a demon lord who possesses the Immortal Dao Fruit. Do you know how to destroy the Immortal Dao Fruit?" 0

"The Immortal Dao Fruit?" Wu Zhenqing asked in confusion. "The Immortal Dao Fruit was unique to the Immortal Sovereign many years ago. In his era, no one could kill it; with just a drop of blood, it could be reborn. It is said that the Immortal Dao Fruit is the hardest substance in existence, and the Daoist Sect's first divine artifact throughout history, the Sun-Shooting Divine Bow, should be able to destroy it." 0
