The moonlight shone brightly over the hills near the Jiangnan Suburbs, where Song Qianqiu looked down at Taihe Zhenren and sneered, "Keep running." 0

Taihe Zhenren's expression was grim as he asked, "What do you want by resurrecting so many dead? Do you really think you can control the Yin-Yang Realms?" 0

Song Qianqiu replied, "I give you a chance to live, yet you refuse to take it and insist on seeking death while talking too much!" 0

He gestured for the Demon King to kill Taihe Zhenren. The Demon King's Great Halberd swung down, but Taihe Zhenren quickly deflected it. However, he soon realized that the void was bound, with the Ghost Gate Secret Technique's patterns wrapping around his feet. 0

Behind Song Qianqiu, the White-Robed Old Scholar made his move. Taihe Zhenren thought this was bad; he raised a finger to his chest and chanted a spell. A mysterious energy surged from within him as he unleashed Righteous Qi to protect himself. 0

The Great Halberd struck against the Righteous Qi, nearly causing the Demon King's Great Halberd to dull. With a loud crash, the mountaintop collapsed and cracked open. The Demon King's palm was shattered from the impact, and blood trickled from Taihe Zhenren's ears, yet his Righteous Qi remained unharmed. 0

"Interesting," Song Qianqiu said with a hint of intrigue on his face. "What cultivation method is this? It seems much stronger than Wudang's Righteous Qi." 0

"The Old Man won't tell you!" Taihe Zhenren shouted as he slashed out with his sword, sending sword energy slicing through the air. 0

Several people behind Song Qianqiu moved simultaneously to block Taihe Zhenren's sword energy. "You just came back to life; it's not wise for you to act recklessly," Song Qianqiu said. 0

Upon hearing this, they retreated, and Song Qianqiu smiled lightly as he reached for Taihe Zhenren below. 0

Taihe Zhenren leaped up to evade the Demon King's attack from behind and charged toward Song Qianqiu. Sword energy erupted from the tip of his sword as Song Qianqiu spun in midair to dodge it and then pressed a palm against Taihe Zhenren's chest. 0

In a moment of desperation, Taihe Zhenren countered with a palm strike of his own. A surge of Ghostly Energy invaded his body as he pressed two fingers of his left hand against his arm. The Ghostly Energy condensed and shot out from his right fingertips, piercing through Song Qianqiu's shoulder. 0

"In a one-on-one fight, you're still too inexperienced!" Taihe Zhenren declared. 0

Furious, Song Qianqiu spread his arms wide as black Yinwen swirled around him, transforming him into an ominous figure enveloped in dark energy. Taihe Zhenren's expression shifted slightly; this aura resembled that of the Book of Life and Death. Countless streams of Ghostly Energy surged toward him from all directions. He lightly tapped his toes and leaped onto a nearby large tree just as the Demon King's war spear descended upon him. He dodged but was soon ensnared by Ghostly Energy. 0

Struggling against it, Taihe Zhenren felt the ground shake as the Demon King advanced with a horizontal slash of the Great Halberd. "Don't damage his corpse; I still have use for it," Song Qianqiu instructed. 0

Hearing this, the Demon King eased his grip slightly. As Taihe Zhenren saw the Great Halberd coming toward him, he grasped it with one hand. With a powerful throw into the air, a righteous white light emanated from him. 0

"There is righteous energy in the earth!" Taihe Zhenren exclaimed as countless streams of Ghostly Energy rushed at him. In midair, wielding an ancient sword, he slashed downwards. 0

In an explosion of brilliance akin to countless stars, he scattered the incoming Ghostly Energy. 0

"Chaos Manifestation!" Taihe Zhenren swept his sword once more, striking at the approaching Ghost King. The grass and trees on the ground rose up, entangling the Ghost King, while the righteous energy of the mountains and rivers surged into him, causing the Ghost King to roar in fury. 0

"Below are the rivers and mountains, above are the sun and stars!" 0

The water in the river surged upward, the mountains trembled, and the brilliance of the stars shone as bright as day. A dazzling light attached itself to Taihe Zhenren's ancient sword; he was performing the Righteousness Song of the Taihe Sect. It countered all ghostly energies, illuminating everything with everlasting brightness and enduring righteousness! 0

"Enough!" Song Qianqiu roared, an eerie aura rippling from his body, swiftly enveloping Taihe Zhenren from behind. 0

"What is happening?" Taihe Zhenren felt a surge of panic as he sensed his movements slowing to a crawl, frozen in mid-air while the flowing water below was cut off and the starlight above vanished. Everything was frozen in place. 0

Song Qianqiu snorted disdainfully and flicked his finger, breaking Taihe Zhenren's ancient sword. The broken blade shot toward Taihe Zhenren's heart, pulling him out of the Time Barrier's edge. 0

Taihe Zhenren regained his ability to move; he fell from the air toward the mountain below, coughing up blood as the broken sword pierced his lung, rolling down the cliff. 0

"Hmm?" Seeing that Taihe Zhenren had not died, Song Qianqiu displayed a look of confusion. "Could it be that this old man’s heart is on the right side?" 0

Song Qianqiu leaped onto the shoulder of the struggling Ghost King, who wielded a Great Halberd and jumped down the mountain. 0

Taihe Zhenren clutched his chest as Dao Qi flowed into his wound, rapidly healing him. Lying at the foot of the mountain, he watched as the Ghost King and Song Qianqiu approached through the night. Just as the Great Halberd was about to strike him, he pulled a Mountain Talisman from his sleeve. The Talisman ignited, and Taihe Zhenren vanished without a trace. 0

Song Qianqiu's face turned furious as he glared at the Supreme and Sect Leader descending from the mountain. He shouted, "You bunch of useless fools! Why aren’t you devouring Yin Soldiers and draining living people's blood to quickly restore your strength!" 0

Three hours later, Taihe Zhenren crawled out of a nearby stream in an unknown valley. Struggling onto the shore, he lay under the moonlight. His wounds were slowly bleeding, and he recalled that recent moment when death had loomed over him. 0

"Suddenly losing consciousness without sensing anything before being pierced through my heart... If it weren't for my heart being positioned differently than most people’s, I would have been dead by now. What kind of Daoist Arts is this?" Taihe Zhenren coughed up another mouthful of blood, his consciousness fading into darkness. 0

When he awoke on the following morning, sunlight poured down. A robust man descended from the mountain carrying two buckets on a shoulder pole while humming a tune: "The king sent me to patrol the mountains; I bring..." 0

As he hummed along, he spotted an old man lying on a stone by the riverbank and bent down to check Taihe Zhenren's breath. 0

"This old man has formidable power; he could rival my deceased master." The man then filled both buckets with water before turning back to hoist Taihe Zhenren onto his shoulder pole and headed up the mountain. "Ever since my mind cleared up, I've realized I'm truly useless—not only dragging my leader down but also burdening him further. I wonder how they are doing? After waiting a few days for my Iron Bull technique to be perfected, I'll take down those old Immortals one by one." 0

This man was Iron Bull, who had been missing for some time. Months ago, Iron Bull had awakened from Leiyin Temple and learned that Yang Hao had suffered an Injury of the Dao due to enlightenment. He sought information about this injury and consulted several elders at Leiyin Temple regarding its healing methods but found no cure. 0

Iron Bull refused to believe it. He recalled that Mangshan Sect possessed a Cultivation Method called Chemical Martial Arts that could transform all injuries into temporary power stored within oneself. The more severe the injury sustained, the stronger one became; however, Chemical Martial Arts had been sealed within him by his master before passing away. Unable to remember its specific techniques, he decided to seek out Yang Hao but encountered a group of Thieves robbing some villagers along his way. 0

Daoist Catastrophe had affected many mountain dwellers living deep in the mountains, leading to the destruction of vegetation, a lack of Spirit Energy, and barren soil. They had no choice but to find a new place to settle down. Iron Bull protected them along the way, and only upon reaching their destination did he realize that they had arrived at his own Sect hometown, which was Mangshan. 0

Mangshan was perilous and not very large. However, it had excellent feng shui, making it a suitable place for living and working. Once the villagers settled down, Iron Bull, who had gained some insight, felt a sense of nostalgia for the human world, reminiscing about the carefree days spent with his master during their secluded cultivation on the mountain. 0

Iron Bull laid out a mat beside the bed and placed Taihe Zhenren on it. He infused his own Dao Qi into Taihe Zhenren's body to help him untangle his chaotic Meridians, then went to the door to brew medicine. 0

Half an hour later, Taihe Zhenren was awakened by the pungent smell of burnt medicinal soup. Struggling to sit up, he walked outside and saw Iron Bull chopping firewood in the distance. He murmured to himself, "Is this big fool the one who saved me? He’s actually from a Daoist Sect, and at that, a Dao Fruit Realm. Not bad at all." 0

In the distance, Iron Bull hummed a tune while chopping wood. Unable to bear it any longer, Taihe Zhenren shouted, "Hey, big guy! You burned the medicine!" 0

Wiping sweat from his brow, Iron Bull looked over at Taihe Zhenren, quickly tossed aside his axe, and ran toward the medicine pot. 0

In front of the temple, Iron Bull brought down the now-dried-up pot of medicine. Sniffing the acrid smell, he asked Taihe Zhenren, "Why are you awake?" 0

With a pale face, Taihe Zhenren pointed at the pot and said, "I was choked awake by your burnt medicine. Is this what you made for me to drink?" 0
