The Evil Weapon struck like a celestial sword, its blade cutting through all in its path. Even more incomprehensible was the fact that this Evil Weapon could lock onto its enemies, rendering them immobile for a short time. In other words, wherever the Evil Weapon pointed, blood would surely be spilled! 0

The sound of the sword echoed with a ghostly wail as masters from the Mahayana Realm fell, fear evident in everyone's eyes. 0

Miao Guanyin sighed and said, "First, there was the Book of Life and Death, and now an Evil Weapon has been forged. These wicked objects endanger the people and should not exist in this world." 0

Taihe Zhenren added, "It was indeed sudden. If I could test the Evil Weapon with my Righteous Qi, it would bolster our Taihe Sect and restore our prestige!" 0

In the crowd, members of the Yang Family stared at Li Chang'an's corpse in silence. Yang Xuanzong's eyes were filled with rage as he looked at me, his body trembling with anger as he cursed, "Beast! I will make you pay for this!" 0

"If you really have the ability, come and try!" I replied to Yang Xuanzong. 0

Yang Xuanzong stepped forward, his Daoist Robe billowing around him. The Old Scholar blocked his path, narrowing his eyes and saying, "Leave!" 0

"Father, the second son has been killed! This child is already at his last gasp; why not use that technique to wipe them all out?" Yang Xuanzong insisted fiercely. 0

"It is not yet time. Everyone must leave!" The Old Scholar said expressionlessly as a void opened up, allowing him to step inside. 0

The Yang Family had no choice but to retreat. Two of them stepped forward to retrieve Li Chang'an's body but were met with a punch from May Day that shattered their advance. An Elder Yang shouted, "What do you want with that beast's body?" 0

"Who knows what you Yang Family wants it for? Those who know better should leave quickly!" Wudao retorted. 0

The leaders of the Yang Family seethed with hatred but had to leave with their weakened members; the strike from the Evil Weapon had drained most of their strength. 0

Meanwhile, Nangong stood by watching coldly as Yu Youya said, "Master, we should go." 0

Nangong nodded tightly, clenching his fists. He glanced at the blood-red glow of the Evil Weapon in my hand before he and Yu Youya quickly vanished into the morning mist. 0

Miao Shengnan looked embarrassed, nodded at us, and then turned to leave. Wu quickly caught up with Miao Shengnan and exchanged a few words with her. Miao Shengnan nodded and walked away, stepping lightly across the Lake Surface. 0

In the arena, some elders from the Daoist Sect exchanged glances. They had not intended to seize the Divine Weapon; they merely wanted to witness the spectacle of its emergence. However, they never expected to nearly lose their lives in the process. Many approached to offer their congratulations, while others greeted Yang Sanqian. 0

My body trembled, blood trickling from the corner of my mouth. Yunxi supported me and asked, "Are you okay?" 0

I replied, "I'm fine. The Evil Weapon drained all my strength; I'm just a bit exhausted." 0

Jiyao came to my side and used Renewal of Withered Trees to heal my wounds. Just then, remnants of the Yang Family suddenly rushed back through the mist, accompanied by Nangong, Yu Youya, and Miao Shengnan. 0

Guo Daozhen frowned and said, "It seems some familiar faces are coming." 0

The returning group looked terrified, as if they had seen something dreadful. I held the Evil Weapon and stepped forward. In the mist, it seemed I could see a massive mountain surrounding us, encircling the entire lake where the Sword Pavilion stood. 0

As sunlight broke through and the fog dissipated, an enormous White Snake surrounded the Sword Pavilion. Its body was covered in snow-white fur, with sharp long horns protruding from its massive head. Its eyes were enormous with black-yellow pupils that exuded a chilling Evil Energy. 0

"What is this monstrous creature? How can it be so large?" Someone stammered in fear, their legs trembling. Even those at the Nascent Soul Realm had never witnessed such a terrifying sight. 0

"Is it a dragon or a snake? Or perhaps the legendary Bai Yi?" Taihe Zhenren spoke up. 0

There is a record in the Classic of Mountains and Seas about Bai Yi. It is said that after gaining intelligence, the White Serpent shaped itself into a White Snake and named it Bai Yi. Bai Yi possesses dragon-like abilities and is immensely powerful, capable of battling ancient beasts like Kunpeng. 0

Guo Daozhen stepped forward and called out to the White Snake, "Daozhen pays respects to the Snake Goddess." 0

An eerie voice echoed back; it was a woman's voice. Only then did everyone notice a woman dressed in a White Robe standing atop the head of the White Snake. 0

The woman's face was pale, her lips a vivid red like blood. Her brows and eyes slanted upwards, and her pupils were vertical, giving her an incredibly terrifying appearance. 0

The White Snake lowered its head as the woman descended from its serpent form. Her long white hair flowed behind her, billowing in the air as if a strong wind were blowing, giving her an ethereal presence. 0

She walked across the Lake Surface as if it were solid ground, causing the crowd to retreat in fear, unwilling to confront her. The woman remained unfazed, her gaze sweeping over everyone as she approached Guo Daozhen. 0

"Guo, I didn't expect your eyesight to have improved. It seems you have become the dominant figure in the Daoist Sect now?" she asked. 0

Guo Daozhen replied, "Snake Goddess, you flatter me. My status in the Daoist Sect is lowly; I hardly hold any significance." 0

The crowd murmured among themselves; very few had heard of the Snake Goddess. For those who had, it was merely a tale from six or seven hundred years ago. How could this serpent still be alive? 0

The Snake Goddess remarked, "I took a look around. With the Divine Weapon emerging, why haven't I seen the Old Scholar? He hasn't passed away, has he?" 0

Guo Daozhen responded, "In reply to the Snake Goddess, the Old Scholar just fled moments ago." 0

"Oh?" The Snake Goddess chuckled lightly. "To make that old fellow escape means that everyone present here is quite formidable." 0

"However, although the Old Scholar has escaped, his descendants remain. That one over there is his son, Yang Xuanzong," Guo Daozhen pointed towards Yang Xuanzong. 0

Yang Xuanzong's face turned pale with rage; he wished he could kill Guo Daozhen. The Snake Goddess turned her gaze towards him, causing Yang Xuanzong to step back. The members of the Yang Family followed suit, forming incantations with their hands to guard against this sudden appearance of a woman. 0

Yang Xuanzong shot back in retreat with incredible speed. The Snake Goddess smiled slightly at this; from a distance, a massive serpent tail swung toward him. It struck him hard, breaking bones and sending him flying back. 0

Yang Xuanzong's eyes widened as he formed hand seals to cast the Void Technique and escape. The Snake Goddess extended her right hand; a layer of white fur rippled as the void solidified. Yang Xuanzong's Void Technique failed as her long hair ensnared him and dragged him toward her. 0

The Snake Goddess bared her sharp fangs, her eyes glinting with bloodlust. Yang Xuanzong struggled, pulling a blue talisman from his sleeve. As the talisman ignited, he suddenly shriveled up, turning to ash. 0

"Hmm?" The Snake Goddess seemed slightly surprised. "The Daoist Sect's strange techniques are indeed varied. The void was sealed, yet he managed to escape." 0

She turned her gaze toward me, furrowing her brow as she asked, "Injury of the Dao, Yang Hao?" 0

My lips turned pale as I addressed the Snake Goddess, "Yang Hao pays his respects to the Snake Goddess." 0

The Snake Goddess approached me, while Yang Sanqian and Jiyao positioned themselves in front of me. 0

"Do not be nervous," the Snake Goddess said. "I haven't eaten a person in a long time. Yang Hao is someone who released me. If I wanted to kill him, I would have done so long ago. Besides, he has already suffered from the Injury of the Dao; there's no need for me to take action." 0

"Father and Mother, I'm fine," I communicated telepathically to Yang Sanqian and Jiyao, urging them to step aside. 0

The Snake Goddess chuckled lightly as she surveyed me. "Truly a remarkable talent. It hasn't been long since we last met; my injuries have just healed, and you’ve begun to comprehend the Dao. It’s a pity that the Dao is closed off. The human race cannot touch the Dao; reaching the Immortal Path and aspiring for eternal life is no easy feat." 0

I replied, "I was ignorant before and touched upon the Dao. I wonder if the Snake Goddess has any solutions?" 0

The Snake Goddess inhaled sharply, her expression becoming alluring. "When I arrived just now, I sensed a few people here who have lived over a hundred years, but there is one person who has lived for three hundred years. Perhaps that person can heal your Injury of the Dao." 0

"Three hundred years?" Everyone exchanged glances, unsure of who it could be. 0

Some looked toward Taihe Zhenren, who awkwardly smiled and said, "I'm only seventy-four; if you don't believe me, let Guo Daozhen check my bone age. Who could possibly live for three hundred years?" 0

The Snake Goddess replied, "Just because you don't know doesn't mean there isn't such a person. That individual is not here; it seems they are with an old acquaintance full of vigor and have already left this place." 0

"Could it be the Snake Goddess is Yu Xuanliang?" I thought to myself. 0

The emergence of the Divine Weapon was a significant event for the Daoist Sect. Yu Xuanliang had ordered the military to evacuate the Common People in advance, so he and Li Fugui could not possibly ignore the happenings at the Sword Pavilion. However, he did not understand Daoist Arts at all; how could he have lived for so long? 0

Guo Daozhen asked, "I wonder what the Snake Goddess intends to do by coming out this time?" 0

The Snake Goddess replied, "Naturally, I seek revenge against the Old Scholar. I wanted to find the Ming Emperor and Chang Yuchun, but they have already turned to dust; there’s no way to take revenge. It’s truly tragic." 0

A look of sorrow crossed the Snake Goddess's face. Suddenly, her hair stood on end as she turned to gaze in the direction of the Yang Family. Her pupils glowed with a supernatural light, and a massive serpent opened its enormous mouth, swallowing all the elders of the Yang Family whole. 0

Everyone was horrified, their bodies trembling. This was nothing short of divine; it instilled a sense of helplessness against such overwhelming power. This woman was merely a manifestation of its spirit; throughout history, there had never been a giant demon that could cultivate into human form. 0

"You just said you wouldn't eat people," Taihe Zhenren couldn't help but mutter, his voice barely above a whisper. 0

The Snake Goddess cast a calm glance at Taihe Zhenren, seemingly unfazed. She stood before me, looking at the Evil Weapon in my hand and said, "What a formidable weapon indeed. If the Supreme were to wield it, it could pose a threat to me. May I take a look?" 0
