The entrance to the Kunlun Secret Realm was surrounded by members of the Daoist Sect, leaving no room for anyone to pass. Despite warnings from seniors advising against entering the realm, those gathered had come a long way and faced numerous challenges to reach this point; they couldn't leave empty-handed.
No one expected that an unknown individual would strike the barrier of the secret realm with a hammer, creating a crack. From within the crack, Spirit Energy began to seep out, and those nearby displayed expressions of excitement.
Soon, the crack widened into a gaping hole, releasing a wave of Spirit Energy that invigorated everyone nearby, filling them with a sense of euphoria and relaxation.
"This secret realm is overflowing with Spirit Energy! There must be Spiritual Grounds inside, and who knows if there’s even a Holy Medicine growing here! We’re going to strike it rich!"
A cheer erupted among the crowd as they dreamed of finding a Holy Medicine that could enhance their abilities and talents, ensuring their rise within the Daoist Sect.
Nangong Lin gazed at the hole in the barrier and struck it with his palm. The barrier trembled, and cracks spread across the space above like shattered glass.
As the barrier broke apart, light burst forth, and a surge of Spirit Energy rushed out, causing everyone's hair to flutter and making it difficult for them to open their eyes.
The crowd gasped in awe as they beheld the scenery within the Kunlun Secret Realm, their mouths agape and expressions filled with exhilaration.
Suddenly, a young boy's White Mouse darted from his arms and ran toward the secret realm. "Bai, come back!" he called out.
The White Mouse did not stop but continued its dash into the realm. The boy had no choice but to follow it inside. Seeing that he was unharmed, others began rushing into the secret realm as well.
Inside the grassy expanse of the realm, many decades-old medicinal herbs thrived, and occasionally one could spot some Medicine Kings. The crowd went wild, scrambling to collect as much as they could carry. However, many were reluctant to linger because everyone knew that if there were so many precious herbs outside the realm, there must be even more inside—perhaps even Holy Medicines scattered everywhere.
"We should hurry in!" Huzi urged.
Five frowned and said, "My master warned me that there are countless beasts in the Kunlun Secret Realm. How could there be so many valuable herbs? I suspect something is off here."
Iron Bull approached with his hammer in hand. "I need to gather some herbs for our leader," he stated.
Huzi replied, "Everyone else has gone in; we can't just stand here watching."
Wu watched as people continued to enter the secret realm, with some Taoist disciples rushing over, drawn by the scent of Spirit Energy. After a moment of hesitation, he said, "Let's go in. We must be extra cautious."
Now at the Core Formation Stage, Wu was the most powerful among the three. With great power came great responsibility, and he needed to ensure the safety of his companions at all times.
As the trio entered the secret realm and ventured deeper, they soon spotted Song Qianqiu approaching from a distance. Upon closer inspection, one would notice that his white clothing was stained with blood.
Song Qianqiu paused briefly at the entrance before stepping into the depths of the secret realm without a word.
Not long after, a White-Clad Youth named Dongfang Yuqing flew down from a nearby mountain. He murmured to himself, "Nangong Lin from the Serpent Cult, Dongfang Zhen from the Sword Sect, Azure Cloud Song Qianqiu, the Wudang Twins, and Rain Master Emei Luo Du have all arrived. The only one missing is Yang Long from Yin Mountain."
After finishing his thoughts, Dongfang Yuqing also entered the secret realm.
Members of the Daoist Sect continued to make their way into the secret realm. Along the way, I saw numerous corpses, including some female disciples of the Daoist Sect who had been stripped of their clothes and lay dead beneath fallen branches of massive trees.
The remains of enormous beasts were scattered everywhere; any beast that had reached a certain level had its inner core extracted by someone.
"Manman, where are you?" I shouted loudly. I had been searching for Zhou Manman for quite some time without finding her. Her cultivation was weak, and before we separated, I had created a defensive barrier around her using my strongest Dao Qi. However, I had searched everywhere and still couldn't find her, causing me to feel anxious.
Wu was already at the Core Formation Stage; he should be unaffected by the Beast Tide. Huzi and Iron Bull were also strong and should not encounter danger.
But Zhou Manman had just begun to cultivate her physical body and had lost the protection of the Yaochi Saintess. Without me by her side, she could be in danger at any moment.
I could already sense the Spirit Energy flowing ahead as I continued deeper into the realm.
"Shifu Uncle has already informed us through a communication stone that the gates of Kunlun Secret Realm have opened. We need to hurry in; I've heard there are Holy Medicines everywhere inside," two voices nearby caught my attention. I watched as they excitedly ran ahead before searching for a while longer. It wasn't until dusk that I began making my way toward Kunlun Secret Realm.
Upon reaching the entrance of Kunlun Secret Realm, I saw flames flickering in the distance. Some disciples were roasting beast meat over a fire; they had been inside Rear Kunlun for over three days and were already starving.
I sat cross-legged at the entrance of the secret realm, absorbing the Spirit Energy emanating from within.
"Yang Hao," after an unknown amount of time, someone suddenly called my name. I opened my eyes and looked at the newcomer. "Si Tu Nan, what a coincidence."
Si Tu Nan replied, "Yes, what a coincidence. I didn't expect to run into you here; it's fate."
I said, "Fate has nothing to do with it; this is your destiny."
Si Tu Nan laughed heartily. "You've escaped me time and again. This time, I want to see where you can run to."
As Si Tu Nan finished speaking, the people behind him surrounded me, numbering around seventy or eighty. Each of them had at least Foundation Establishment Realm cultivation, with over twenty at Divine Transformation Realm, equal to my Dao Qi.
"Kill him," Si Tu Nan commanded fiercely. "Chop him into meat paste."
One person swung a knife directly at my head. With a clang, the blade shattered against my Dao Qi, sending shockwaves through the attacker. The others, seeing this, raised their swords and knives to strike at me. The sounds of clashing weapons filled the air as I vanished from their sight.
Si Tu Nan's expression turned puzzled. "If you have the ability, come out and fight me openly. Running away time and again is not what a man does."
"Fine, if you want a fair fight, do you prefer one-on-one or a group brawl?" I suddenly appeared behind Si Tu Nan.
He was startled and swung his sword without turning around. I stood a short distance away and said, "You don't need to be nervous."
"What are you all waiting for? Go!" Si Tu Nan shouted.
Seventy or eighty people charged at me. The Silver Thread wrapped around my index finger unfurled completely in an instant, piercing through several youths who rushed forward. Looking at the marks left on my finger, I sighed in relief. "Finally, I've advanced the Puppet Technique to a new level; I no longer need real threads."
My ten fingers emitted Dao Qi that transformed into threads dancing before me. Under my mental command, these threads floated out invisibly to everyone except me, penetrating the disciples' Dao Qi defenses and tightening around their hearts, seeping into their spines and brains. The expressions of these Serpent Cult disciples turned strange and pained as they turned to look at Si Tu Nan.
Si Tu Nan's eyes widened in terror. "What’s wrong with you? Hurry up and kill Yang Hao!"
Waiting for Si Tu Nan were all the Disciples of the Serpent Cult, brandishing their swords and looking at him. Si Tu Nan smashed a boy's head with a single palm strike, and with his long sword, he swung it up and down, killing more than ten Disciples of the Serpent Cult. A Silver Needle silently pierced into the back of Si Tu Nan's head.
Si Tu Nan let out a terrible scream, dropping the sword from his hand as he clutched his head in pain. "Yang Hao, what you practice is nothing but evil and heresy. One day, you will be condemned by the Underworld Sect. Just wait and see! I curse you to die a miserable death!"
Dozens of swords fell upon him, turning Si Tu Nan into a puddle of flesh. Among the Disciples of the Serpent Cult, a strong-minded young man pleaded, "Please spare me!"
"Bang!" I shouted, my hands spread wide as Silver Threads instantly strangled the hearts of those people.
I stepped over the corpses and walked to where Si Tu Nan had been reduced to nothing but blood and flesh. "Evil and heresy depend on whose hands they are in. From now on, regardless of age or gender, I will kill every single person from the Serpent Cult I encounter. Until I kill my way into the Serpent Cult's lair, I will hang Nangong's head at the entrance of their stronghold."
After finishing my words, I walked into the depths of the secret realm. In the darkness, those watching around me were filled with fear and quietly retreated.
I gathered some herbs along the edges of the secret realm before making my way deeper under the light of Starlight.
After walking for about two hours, I turned back towards a certain direction and said, "Come out! You've been following me for quite some time now. If you like me, there's no need to stalk me like this."
The presence in the shadows was powerful; I could sense that this person was intentionally trying to be discovered. Then, in the darkness, that person's aura vanished.
"What the hell is going on?"
