Alok, known as "Acquaintance 0049," is the sole disciple of the legendary warrior Stalker. His skills in hand-to-hand combat, assassination, information theft, and espionage were all personally taught by Stalker. Originally, there were only 471 Acquaintances embedded on Earth, primarily scattered across Asia, North America, and Oceania. However, after an unexpected defeat in the mission to capture Nars by Xiu Sha, Ban Sa began to pay more attention to observing Earth. A total of 529 new Acquaintances departed from the Moon, entering Earth's atmosphere disguised as low-altitude meteors during a calculated window of opportunity, landing quietly. 0

Alok's status among the Acquaintances is second only to his teacher Stalker. Although there are no formal hierarchies among the Acquaintances, whenever Alok calls upon them, those hidden in various sectors of society will undoubtedly lend their support. Even without considering his status, he is the Acquaintance closest to humanity's cutting-edge defense. 0

From the top-tier Military Base to the now heavily fortified 749 International Response Center—a place even Stalker finds difficult to infiltrate—Alok has worked there as a human for a full seventeen years. Years ago, Liang Muqi suddenly shelved the development plan for the Fierce Eagle Armor, causing Alok and others' internal coup plans to lose their target. He could only watch as Wang Yangchen became the first Fierce Eagle while Nars was still leading warriors in a final stand on their homeland. At that time, all efforts from internal humans were focused on achieving victory in the civil war, so Stalker's orders to Alok were to observe and wait. 0

However, the appearance of An Xiaotian disrupted Alok's previously indulgent life on Earth. This young man entered Wang Yangchen's sight with astonishing talent and determination and became the second Fierce Eagle. He began participating in various operations targeting the interests of internal humans on Earth. Alok watched as the Superhero Alliance evolved into today's Celestial Warriors Alliance but felt powerless due to his identity. 0

More than once, Alok considered dismantling the leadership or employing underhanded tactics to destroy the Celestial Warriors Alliance. During the Zombie War, an unexpected Hydrogen Bomb was part of his persuasion efforts to convince everyone that heroes could not save them—that nuclear weapons were the ultimate solution. However, General Jiang sacrificed himself to forcibly alter its delivery method; what was originally a direct overhead bombing plan turned into a long-range air-to-ground launch. This gave the Celestial Warriors a slim chance to respond to the nuclear threat. Despite their faint hope, they miraculously succeeded, and Alok's plans fell through once again—his tentative schemes had already accumulated since the inception of the Superhero Alliance. 0

After the existence of the Celestial Warriors Alliance was publicly announced worldwide, humanity's unified counterattack plan commenced. Stalker immediately instructed Alok to seek opportunities and utilize his resources on Earth to disrupt and hinder its development as much as possible. With his generous style of rewarding those under him with his assets, Alok garnered unwavering loyalty from humans—especially young individuals without financial means who aspired for greatness. In their eyes, Alok disguised as Major Gao Ling was their golden goose; following his directives promised substantial rewards. 0

However, these young people could not fulfill all of Alok's plans due to their limited positions and their growing awareness that something was off about Major Gao Ling. This led to Alok failing to fundamentally influence humanity's counterattack strategy; his painstakingly built small group could not eliminate Jiang Yan but instead fell victim to a disguised Wang Hao. The Celestial Warriors quickly realized that problems had arisen. In contrast, other Acquaintances seemed to progress effortlessly; they adeptly manipulated human religious sentiments and perceptions, leaving the world on the brink of severing a nerve. 0

With everything falling apart and hearing that An Xiaotian and Lu Sha were coming, Alok decided to take a gamble. He devised three assassination plans: optimistically, a young programmer he had promoted would set up a timed filling command—without revealing its purpose—to inject explosive materials into Xuan Nu Aerospace Fighter's fusion engine. Matsushima Riko had previously reported in a meeting that they would conduct a live test of Unit One on the afternoon of the Celestial Warriors' arrival to ensure everything went flawlessly. Alok instructed the programmer to set two filling programs for the AI responsible for fueling Unit One; the second would be timed injection. As expected, during the first activation, everyone noticed an anomaly in time and prevented an explosion from occurring; however, unexpectedly, An Xiaotian fainted and was sent alongside Lu Sha to the medical room—meaning even if an explosion occurred later, it would not harm him. 0

Everything had developed into Alok's worst-case scenario: the programmer would inevitably expose his backer and become a target for all humans—including two members of the Celestial Warriors. He had considered this possibility; knowing he couldn't escape now made it clear that his days had come down to this moment. Long before 749 International Response Center was built, he had enlisted Acquaintance Wang Hao to recruit an engineering team composed of Acquaintances living undercover as architects and workers. They buried explosives beneath the pavement near the foundation; these explosives would never detonate unless they sensed vibrations from specific locations because Alok had set them up with a location-based vibration detonation system—his intention being that when he could no longer hide away one day, he would create a disturbance in this building that would trigger all explosives at once, obliterating both humanity's cutting-edge defense plan and himself in one fell swoop. 0

After Office Building 02 was surrounded, he set up his living quarters as a vibration detection coordinate point and laid two tripwires at his door. However, he underestimated An Xiaotian's abilities and awareness; throughout this process, every decision made by An Xiaotian perfectly circumvented Alok's expectations: The Security Team stood ready at all times significantly reducing tripwire activation chances; meanwhile, An Xiaotian skillfully bypassed both tripwires with remarkable awareness right before Alok’s astonished eyes and approached his model. 0

This was precisely what Alok dreaded most; although it happened nonetheless, he still had one last resort plan. Among Security Team members was a farmer’s son who had been forced into military service due to poverty; he had trained under Major Gao Ling but consistently ranked at the bottom due to his relatively weak physique. Yet he managed to pass military checks without wanting to be sent back home and sought out Gao Ling based on rumors—thus embarking on an irreversible path. Gao Ling naturally welcomed him with open arms—especially since he was an honest young man—this individual joined Security Team five days before An Xiaotian and Lu Sha arrived. As part of Alok’s final backup plan disguised as Major Gao Ling, he instructed this young man to seize Captain Wu Xiaolong’s grenade before Security Team entered his home; pulling its pin and tossing it inside would generate enough vibration to trigger all explosives buried around the factory’s foundation. 0

“Bastard!” Wu Xiaolong exclaimed while clutching his back where he had been stabbed by that person’s attack; gripping his fingers around the already pulled grenade pin tightly before sprinting toward a window—he released it just steps away allowing it to start its countdown before throwing it outside while crouching behind a wall; before covering his ears could even happen—a deafening roar erupted from below. 0

“I’ll settle your score slowly,” Wu Xiaolong said upon returning while pointing directly at that teammate with fury before landing a punch squarely on his face. 0

“Any more tricks up your sleeve?” The explosion outside allowed An Xiaotian’s anxious heart finally to relax as he pressed closer toward Alok at table’s edge. 0

“Ah.” Alok sighed deeply while tearing off his facial disguise through a newly created hole from earlier gunfire. “It seems I must take matters into my own hands.” 0

Seizing upon An Xiaotian’s focus on him tearing away at his disguise’s surface layer, Alok kicked over a table toward An Xiaotian! But this merely bought him some time; seeing no way out now forced An Xiaotian into action—he swiftly turned around using his back and elbow to catch the falling wooden table then pushed it aside with momentum while immediately countering with a punch aimed at Alok who attempted an ambush against him—all while positioning themselves for confrontation—with An Xiaotian now wielding a handgun. 0

“Three… Two… One!” 0

The sound of breaking down doors grew increasingly violent against locked barriers; knowing he was trapped like fish in a barrel now made Alok point directly at An Xiaotian’s gun tauntingly saying: “I still want to ask you—without armor—what do you amount to?” 0

An Xiaotian recognized this provocation but still made another choice: He pulled down on his handgun’s slide releasing it while tossing both magazine and gun aside. 0

“Are you satisfied now?” An Xiaotian asked calmly. “Before I break through this door—I’ll tell you my answer.” 0

Alok was still looking for an opportunity when An Xiaotian launched a fierce attack. The speed and power of his punches were overwhelming, making it difficult for Alok to defend himself. However, Alok was no pushover; he managed to dodge slightly and immediately countered by using his shoulder and elbow to strike at An Xiaotian's lower body, pushing him back. After a few exchanges, An Xiaotian realized that Alok's skills were on par with his own. Just as he regained his fighting stance, Alok executed a committed move, leaping into the air and delivering a sweeping kick from above. Even when An Xiaotian tried to block with his arms, the dizziness from the impact was undeniable. 0

An Xiaotian's first instinct was to block head-on, but he forgot that he was facing an internal human whose fighting techniques he was unfamiliar with. In contrast, Alok had studied the Krav Maga during his years on Earth. It was clear that Alok was responding to An Xiaotian's confident assault with equal determination, using immense force to convey his resolve to defeat him that day. Alok's sweeping kick struck An Xiaotian directly on the Sun point, and despite An Xiaotian's strong physique, it was hard for him to recover his combat strength in such a short time. He instinctively bent forward to protect his head and abdomen while retreating. 0

Seizing the moment, Alok pressed the attack with a kick aimed at An Xiaotian's knee joint, followed by an uppercut that broke through his facial defense and landed heavily on his jaw. To Alok's surprise, An Xiaotian did not fall; his knee appeared unbroken, and despite the impact of the punch, he managed to maintain his balance. He stood like a sturdy fortress, unaffected by pain and fully aware of the fight around him. An Xiaotian sought an opportunity to counterattack, waiting for either side to reveal a flaw. 0

"Xiaotian! Xiaotian! Are you okay? Respond!" The voices outside grew louder. Although Alok had reinforced the door intentionally, large cracks had already formed around the lock. For Alok, this was a race against time; if he couldn't defeat his opponent within the allotted time, he would lose. 0

This played right into An Xiaotian's hands. Alok's attacks became increasingly frantic—punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and headbutts came at him with greater ferocity—but his body's coordination began to falter. If An Xiaotian could withstand the barrage, Alok would have no choice but to lose; if An Xiaotian exposed a flaw, he would also be defeated. 0

With one final punch! An Xiaotian could hardly endure such a prolonged assault himself. Seizing the moment when both of Alok's hands dropped their defenses in preparation for another strike, An Xiaotian bent down and delivered a powerful blow to Alok's abdomen. Then he rose up and grabbed Alok's incoming straight punch, forcefully flipping it outward. As Alok was pulled down by this motion, An Xiaotian’s elbow struck hard against his controlled arm joint. A scream escaped Alok as the situation turned completely in favor of An Xiaotian. 0

Instead of letting him fall to the ground, An Xiaotian followed up with a side kick that sent Alok crashing into the wall of the room. Without hesitation, An Xiaotian rushed forward and pinned him down. His arms crossed over Alok’s neck and arms while his lower leg secured him in place against the wall. Alok was completely immobilized by An Xiaotian; if he wanted to, he could easily choke him out. 0

"Hah! Hah..." The faces of Alok and An Xiaotian were only inches apart; however, An Xiaotian’s face bore more bruises than Alok’s own. Blood flowed rapidly from where he had just been struck. 0

"What are you laughing at?" An Xiaotian gasped for breath. "You lost!" 0

"I’m just happy for Wang Yangchen and your Yang Meng," Alok replied with a smirk. "They must be very pleased watching from the Divine Realm." 0

"Ugh—" A loud crash accompanied by the sound of breaking bones erupted as Wu Xiaolong’s Security Team burst through the door. They found An Xiaotian on top of Alok, raining down punches like thunder: "You! Damn it! You don’t deserve this! You all should die! Die!" 0

It took considerable effort for Wu Xiaolong and the Security Team members to restrain An Xiaotian’s arms; he had lost all sense of reason due to Alok’s provocations. If Wu Xiaolong hadn’t shouted in his ear that they needed someone alive upstairs, An Xiaotian might have even turned on them. 0

Once everything calmed down, An Xiaotian stood up with Wu Xiaolong’s help. Everyone urged him to return to the medical room to stop the bleeding, but he seemed dazed as he looked down at Alok—his features twisted and bloodied from the beating he had just received. Two tears silently fell into the pool of blood dripping from Alok’s head. 0
