Upon hearing Fat Ma's shout, I immediately understood his intention. This guy, the Fat Ma, was still trying to deal with the Eternal Zongzi. Looking at the corpses sprawled across the ground in disarray, a chill ran down my spine. 0

I suddenly thought of Zhang Tongni Ren and the others, so I hurriedly asked. Fat Ma was still on the run, muttering, "Old Sun, don't worry, they're fine. Look, they're right over there!" I followed the direction Fat Ma pointed with his chin. 0

There, I saw the Mud Man and Old Ghost huddled in a corner. Both seemed to be injured. The group of Eerie Figures had dwindled to just two remaining by the Mud Man's side; the rest had either been killed by the rampaging Eternal Zongzi or were too severely wounded to continue. 0

"Why aren't they shooting?" 0

"Old Sun, why would they shoot? Haven't you noticed that they've run out of bullets? Just look at that Zongzi; it's already riddled with holes! But damn, this Zongzi is really tough! It's still alive after all that!" Fat Ma exclaimed angrily. 0

At that moment, I shifted my attention to the Zongzi. Its hair was still intact and a ghastly white color, with a somewhat tall figure. As Fat Ma said, it was indeed full of holes and oozing a thick black liquid. 0

It was also smeared with red blood, and a foul odor permeated the air. 0

A black coffin lay overturned on the ground, with a corpse trapped beneath it; its face had turned an ashen blue. 0

At this time, around ten people were still surrounding the Eternal Zongzi, engaging in combat, but their efforts seemed ineffective. Some figures had vanished entirely—like Old Wang and Fish Head Elder—as well as the mysterious person; none were present in this palace anymore. 0

Only some insignificant lackeys remained behind. 0

Fat Ma shouted, "When we came in, we encountered this Eternal Zongzi going berserk!" 0

Fat Ma's words provided me with crucial information: this Zongzi wasn't something we had stirred up; it had been disturbed by the group that entered before us. They had left behind some people as bait to buy time. 0

So when Fat Ma and his crew entered, they just happened to stumble upon this already awakened Eternal Zongzi. 0

After some chaos ensued, this was the scene that unfolded. 0

The palace was a massive Bronze Structure, though not entirely made of bronze; the entire Main Palace seemed to be constructed from a combination of brick and wood with bronze elements. It exuded a magnificent and grand atmosphere, but after being buried by History for so many years, it had begun to show signs of decay. 0

The great hall of the palace was empty. 0

That Zongzi had already taken several lives on its back when suddenly someone threw out a rope that quickly ensnared the Eternal Zongzi. The thick rope, about the width of a wrist, tightly bound the Zongzi. 0

The Zongzi struggled, letting out a chilling scream. 0

"Here comes the opportunity," Fat Ma muttered. 0

Then he quickly ushered me to a corner, reminding me to take care of myself before sprinting toward the Eternal Zongzi. 0

I leaned against the wall as Zhang Tong asked if I was feeling any better. 0

I nodded slightly. 0

Three Arrow Feathers had pierced through my shoulders and one foot, and they had already been bandaged with white cloth. 0

It seemed that the Mud Man's arm was also injured, while Old Ghost had been thoroughly exhausted; he bore a fresh scratch on his neck. Zhang Tong's hair was disheveled, making him appear somewhat haggard. 0

Just as I was lost in thought, a sudden scream from Fat Ma snapped me back to reality. I quickly turned to look at him and saw that he had been knocked down to the ground by the Zongzi. 0

Hearing the commotion, the Mud Man rushed over, followed closely by his two lackeys who kept pace with him. 0

I tried to shift my body but felt weak and clearly still fatigued. 0

"Don't push yourself too hard!" Zhang Tong said with a hint of reproach in his voice. 0

"But..." 0

"There are no buts." 0

I was momentarily speechless. 0

Old Ghost had comforted me in the same way. 0

The situation over there was changing rapidly; with the addition of the clay figure, it seemed to improve a bit. 0

A thick hemp rope was being held by four people. 0

Fat Ma got up from the ground, leaving with the spirit of a dragon horse, circling around the Zongzi, assessing its worth. 0

The Zongzi roared, but due to being tied up, its movements were not very agile. It kept trying to break free but failed each time. It began to attempt to snap the rope. Seeing this, the clay figure rushed forward with a dagger and struck decisively, causing a spray of black blood as Eternal Zongzi let out a cry of agony. 0

Enraged, Eternal Zongzi threw a punch at the clay figure, sending it staggering backward several steps. The clay figure steadied itself, blood trickling from the corner of its mouth. 0

The Zongzi still had plenty of strength left. 0

Suddenly, I remembered that I had a Black Donkey Hoof in my backpack, so I asked Old Ghost to check it for me. Sure enough, he pulled out a Black Donkey Hoof. 0

"I've already used one before," Old Ghost reminded me. 0

"Maybe the previous one wasn't heavy enough. Perhaps adding this one will do the trick. Give it to Fat Ma." 0

Seeing that I wasn't joking, Old Ghost didn't hesitate and ran toward Fat Ma's direction. 0

I shifted slightly, and a wave of pain shot through me. 0

I cursed silently in my heart. 0

Zhang Tong's gaze was lowered, seemingly lost in thought. 0

Fat Ma was continuously shouting, and after receiving the Black Donkey Hoof from Old Ghost, he first gave Old Ghost a good scolding. Old Ghost explained it briefly as I had said, and without another word, Fat Ma took the Black Donkey Hoof and rushed towards Eternal Zongzi. 0

As he left, he shouted, "That rotten pearl in your mouth is mine now!" This was Fat Ma giving himself a pep talk. With that, he charged forward to assist the clay figure from the side. 0

The two of them responded with a cheer. 0

They sprang into action immediately. Fat Ma grabbed the Black Donkey Hoof with one hand and crashed into Eternal Zongzi with his massive body. Eternal Zongzi was knocked to the ground, and the clay figure quickly followed up, prying open Zongzi's mouth with a dagger! 0

Their speed was astonishing, and a foul stench wafted out from Zongzi's mouth. However, neither of them could afford to care about that now; even if it was the smell of a corpse, they accepted it. 0

"Damn it, I've already fed you eight Black Donkey Hoofs and you're still not satisfied! This is the ninth one! Off to the underworld with you!" Fat Ma shouted. 0

His hefty hands showed no sign of slowing down as he stuffed the Black Donkey Hoof into Eternal Zongzi's mouth. 0

Fat Ma and the clay figure quickly retreated. 0

Just as they stepped back, Eternal Zongzi's aura suddenly surged again, and with a snap, the hemp rope binding it broke! 0
