"Don't you know about the Black Gate?" The Yin Persons looked at them with disdain. This made Wang Niu and Feng Ju feel a bit awkward. "Why are you talking so much? Just say what you want!" Feng Ju glared at them angrily. They forced a smile and continued, "The Black Gate is an evil cult that relies on the Yin Qi of those villagers, which we believe you have seen in the coffins with those children!" Wang Niu and Feng Ju nodded, a bad feeling rising in their hearts. Could it be that these children were also tools for their exploitation?
Just then, the two Yin Persons suddenly unleashed black mist, which quickly enveloped Wang Niu and Feng Ju! "Be careful!" A powerful aura surged toward them. Wang Niu reacted quickly, pulling Feng Ju over. "Watch out!" As soon as Feng Ju got close, they felt a strong wind blowing away the black mist. At the same time, the two Yin Persons transformed into enormous Ghost Hands, attacking them from both sides, leaving Wang Niu and Feng Ju with a sense of impending doom.
"What should we do?" Wang Niu and Feng Ju were startled; if this continued, they would definitely be trapped by these Yin Persons! "Wang Jun, have you thought of a way?" Feng Ju asked while dealing with the two Ghost Hands. Wang Niu was also fighting against the Ghost Hands, thinking rapidly. Suddenly, he remembered something—how could he forget their identities? A smile appeared at the corner of Wang Niu's mouth. "Feng Ju, you are the King of Hell!"
Upon hearing this, Wind Lord froze for a moment before revealing his identity. In an instant, the two black hands before them returned to their original forms! "Heh heh, please continue!" Feng Ju said to the Yin Persons lying on the ground. The two Yin Persons looked at them in agony. "We... we won't dare anymore!" they begged immediately. "Heh heh, there's no chance left!" With that, Wang Niu and Feng Ju struck out and eliminated the two Yin Persons.
"Wang Jun, should we go check that cave now?" Wang Niu thought carefully for a moment before saying to Feng Ju, "Let's go; we can't delay any longer!" Feng Ju agreed with Wang Niu's reasoning and nodded. "Yes, I wonder what happened to those children we saw in the Tomb!" Wang Niu's face instantly tightened as he said to Feng Ju, "They must have encountered misfortune by now!"
Feng Ju was surprised and immediately followed Wang Niu back to where they had been earlier. Instinctively, Feng Ju opened one of the nearby coffin lids but found no children inside. This made both him and Wang Niu's hearts sink; it seemed their fears were confirmed! "Wang Jun, look!" At that moment, a cave appeared before them step by step. Feng Ju was stunned to see that those children had indeed appeared before them!
However, these children did not look normal at all! "Wang Jun, don't you think these children look strange?" Feng Ju asked in confusion. Wang Niu nodded; these children did indeed look odd—they floated above the ground with hollow expressions in their eyes. "Yes, I'm afraid they have already become Yin Persons!" Wang Niu's tone grew heavy.
Feng Ju was shocked and stared at Wang Niu in disbelief. "What did you say?" Wang Niu sighed; if that were true, then there would be no way to save these children! "Wang Jun, look! Those children..." Suddenly, the children flew off in different directions! Wang Niu furrowed his brow; it seemed like they were heading somewhere specific!
"We need to follow them!" At that moment, Wang Niu pointed to a small child who seemed stuck and had a faint glow on its head. Feng Ju paused for a moment as if realizing something. "What is that?" he asked. "That's Popularity," Wang Niu explained. "That child still has hope; however, if it absorbs Popularity now, there will be no way left to save it! We must stop that child immediately; otherwise, it will be too late!"
They followed closely behind the small child when suddenly it vanished! "Where did she go?" Wind Lord felt puzzled. Wang Niu glanced around and noticed a faint White Mist appearing to his left! This made Feng Ju freeze; could this White Mist be related to the child who just disappeared?
Wang Niu and Feng Ju rushed towards the White Mist! As they reached its center, it transformed into a child who glared at them with malice! "Do you know who we are?" Wang Niu stared expressionlessly at the child. The child shook its head as if indifferent to him.
This ignited a fire within Wang Niu; his gaze suddenly fell upon a doll in the child's hand! "What is this?" he asked in confusion as he stared at the child. The child's gaze followed Wang Niu's toward the doll it held tightly. "Heh heh, I won't tell you!" With that, the child turned into smoke and vanished before Wang Niu's eyes.
"Wang Jun, he escaped!" Wang Niu narrowed his eyes and looked toward where the child had gone—it led to a small village. "What is that child doing here?" This puzzled Feng Ju greatly. Suddenly, Wang Niu's gaze shifted toward a small house not far away!
Feng Ju was taken aback and asked curiously about what was happening inside that little house. "There must be a newborn inside," Wang Niu replied confidently. "That child must have sensed its presence and come here!" Upon hearing this, Feng Ju was stunned and asked incredulously if that child intended something sinister.
Wang Niu nodded as they approached the small house while remaining invisible! He glanced back and noticed something strange hidden behind him—he realized it seemed like another child! "Wang Jun, look!" Feng Ju excitedly pointed at a small child ahead of them!
In an instant, something clicked for Feng Ju as he exclaimed to Wang Niu: “Wang Jun! That child seems ready to harm the baby!” Wang Niu focused intently on the newborn baby while nodding at Feng Ju; there was no need for haste just yet.
Feng Ju nodded but still felt anxious deep down as the White Mist took on a child's form again! Suddenly realizing something alarming, he warned Feng Ju: “Be careful; that child is about to act!”
Feng Ju nodded attentively while keeping an eye on the child who pulled out the Doll they had seen earlier. “Wang Jun! Look out; that child is making its move!”
Wang Niu squinted his eyes and dashed forward just as the child used its Doll to absorb Yang Qi from the baby! “Not good!” At that moment, Feng Ju tried to intervene but realized it was too late—the child had already absorbed Yang Qi from the infant!
“What do we do now?” The only solution was to eliminate this child who had transformed into a Yin Person right before their eyes.
“Kill it!” Wang Niu said calmly as he approached while the child continued absorbing Yang Qi from the baby! Seizing this opportunity, he struck down on the child with one palm—instantly causing wisps of smoke to erupt from its body until it vanished completely!
“Where did it go?” Feng Ju wondered aloud with curiosity! He frowned slightly as he sensed something amiss.
Wang Niu’s gaze shifted outside toward an emerging wisp of White Mist—this made him freeze momentarily as he pondered whether this wisp contained Yang Qi from the baby.
While they were lost in thought, a voice suddenly came from behind them: “Ah! What happened? Why is my baby dead?”
Wang Niu and Feng Ju turned around in shock upon hearing a woman’s voice—they saw her baby had turned completely black on the bed!
“What happened?” Wang Niu stared at the infant in disbelief! Realizing what had transpired with that wisp of White Mist earlier made sense to Feng Ju as he quickly grasped it tightly!
In an instant of realization struck Wang Niu—he took hold of that wisp from Feng Ju’s hand and placed it onto the baby’s body.
Slowly but surely, black spots began disappearing from around the infant! This left everyone present utterly stunned!
