Just then, a group of monsters suddenly approached them, causing both Bai Yu and Wang Niu to become alert. Bai Yu looked at the monsters and noticed their strange expressions, which heightened his caution. He warned Wang Niu, "Be careful; these monsters are problematic. They aren't from my side but are the guards of another princess."
Wang Niu frowned slightly and nodded at Bai Yu. Then, as if realizing something, Bai Yu quickly pulled Wang Niu closer. Although Wang Niu didn't understand the significance of Bai Yu's actions at that moment, he knew it was for his own good.
Bai Yu instructed Wang Niu, "If those monsters ask you questions later, just pretend to be mute. Make sure they don't suspect your identity."
Wang Niu's heart skipped a beat as he recalled his own identity. If it weren't for Bai Yu's reminder, he might have forgotten who he really was.
He nodded at Bai Yu and said, "I understand."

Wang Niu shook his head. Moments later, the monsters withdrew their hands from him.
He took a deep breath, and then the monsters vanished.
Wang Niu was left in confusion, unable to comprehend what just happened. He turned to Bai Yu and asked, "What was that all about?"
Bai Yu took a deep breath and replied, "Those monsters were testing whether you belong here."
Wang Niu paused at Bai Yu's words. Could it be that the aura he emitted made the monsters think he didn't belong?
Just as he was about to ask Bai Yu for clarification, darkness suddenly enveloped them from above, causing Wang Niu's heart to skip a beat.
"Be careful, that's Black Princess," Bai Yu warned.
Wang Niu froze for a moment. Black Princess?
Suddenly, he recalled the earlier monsters. Was this the princess Bai Yu had mentioned who was against him?
A sense of worry crept into Wang Niu's mind, but remembering that Bai Yu was by his side eased his anxiety.
After a while, the oppressive darkness above them dissipated, and Wang Niu took another deep breath.
Bai Yu's face seemed a bit off, and he noticed it, feeling a pang of concern in his heart. He turned to Bai Yu and asked, "What's wrong?"
Bai Yu shook his head at him, and then they walked inside.
As Wang Niu passed each grand hall, he made a mental note of them. After a while, he had memorized the layout of the area quite well.
This surprised Wang Niu; he hadn't expected his memory to be so good.
Bai Yu led him into a rather strange place. Just as Wang Niu looked up, he noticed that the palace before him was filled with black mist. Bai Yu calmly said, "This is where the Demon King's son lives. Soon, you'll go in alone for your trial. The one testing you will be the Demon King's son. Be careful; he's quite formidable."
This made Wang Niu feel extremely awkward. When they reached a doorway, Bai Yu pushed him inside, nearly causing Wang Niu to stumble.
Wang Niu took a deep breath. Suddenly, the door behind him slammed shut, filling him with worry. Could it be that the child inside was already waiting for him?
As he continued walking in, a child's voice suddenly echoed in his ears, making Wang Niu's heart race again. He glanced around but saw nothing.

Upon hearing this, the entity in front of him seemed to recall something. It immediately reached out its hand and struck down hard in front of Wang Niu. In an instant, Wang Niu felt a wave of discomfort wash over his head.

Suddenly, the figure before him began to transform slowly into a very cute little child.

The child’s expression darkened further upon hearing Wang Niu's words. He retorted, "You are really rude."
With that, the child huffed and walked over to a nearby spot, munching on snacks with an air of arrogance. This made Wang Niu feel amused.
Unable to resist, he reached out and patted the child's head, saying, "How can you be so cute?"
The child froze for a moment at Wang Niu's compliment and then pushed his hand away, saying, "Don't touch me."
Wang Niu noticed a hint of petulance in the child's tone and smiled at him. "What's wrong?"
The child snorted softly and turned his face away, replying, "It's nothing. I'm just a little angry."
Wang Niu was momentarily stunned; even a little kid knew how to get angry.
He smiled and said to the child, "Why don't you tell me what's wrong?"
The child glared at Wang Niu with annoyance, which left him feeling helpless. He said, "If you don't tell me, you'll just have to stay angry."
The child stood up, looking furious, and said to Wang Niu, "It's because of Daddy! He never takes me to school for parent-child activities, and that's why my classmates are laughing at me!"
This made Wang Niu feel strange inside. This child was already the offspring of a demon lord, yet there were still kids making fun of him. Were those kids out of their minds?
Just as Wang Niu was puzzled by this, he seemed to think of something and said to the child, "I have a way to help you. I wonder if you're willing to try it."
Upon hearing this, the child was taken aback and asked curiously, "What way?"

Wang Niu was somewhat surprised; he hadn't expected the child to come up with an idea so quickly. He nodded in response. The child then leaned in and whispered his idea into Wang Niu's ear. Wang Niu was taken aback again, his eyes widening in surprise. He hadn't anticipated that the child would think of such a good plan so fast.
Seeing Wang Niu in a daze, the child asked, "So, what do you think? Will you agree?"
Wang Niu nodded at the child and said, "So does that mean I've passed your test?"
The child nodded, and then as if remembering something, turned to Wang Niu and said, "You are Bai Yu's person."
Upon hearing the child's words, Wang Niu felt a sudden wave of embarrassment wash over her. The child's gaze shifted to her, filled with surprise.
What was going on with this child?
"What's wrong with you?" Wang Niu asked the child.
The child shook his head and replied, "I understand now. You should go back first. I need to think about it. Tomorrow, just let Bai Yu bring you over. Remember to dress nicely."
Wang Niu looked at the child in confusion. The child nodded at her and closed the door.
Feeling quite frustrated, Wang Niu decided not to linger any longer and stepped outside. Bai Yu was waiting for her at the door. As soon as she saw Wang Niu come out, she hurried over with a worried expression and asked, "How did it go? Did you pass?"
Seeing Bai Yu's anxious demeanor, Wang Niu suddenly felt a playful urge to tease her.
Wang Niu shook her head and said, "I didn't pass."
Bai Yu froze in shock, her face going blank. "What do you mean you didn't pass? How could you not pass?"
Bai Yu's expression turned extremely surprised, which made Wang Niu unable to hold back her laughter. In an instant, she burst into laughter.
This left Bai Yu's face filled with confusion as she looked at Wang Niu and asked, "What are you laughing at?"
Wang Niu couldn't help but burst into laughter, which made Bai Yu feel a surge of anger. After a while, Wang Niu stopped laughing, but he was met with Bai Yu's glare.
Seeing Bai Yu upset, Wang Niu immediately became nervous. If Bai Yu decided to ignore him, it would be troublesome.
He quickly tried to appease her, saying, "Bai Yu, please don't be angry. I was wrong."
Bai Yu shot him a fierce look and replied, "No."
Wang Niu had no choice but to tell Bai Yu that he had actually passed, which made her expression soften a bit. After a moment, Wang Niu seemed to sense something and said to Bai Yu, "Bai Yu, he also wants us to understand that we should come over in the morning."
Bai Yu looked at Wang Niu in confusion and asked, "Really?"
Wang Niu nodded as Bai Yu agreed, then he said, "Let's head back first."
Bai Yu nodded in response and said okay. The two of them then left the place.
As they walked out of the Demon Palace, suddenly a dark shadow loomed over them from above. They both took a deep breath. Before long, a cloud of smoke appeared right in front of them. Wang Niu inhaled deeply and recalled what Bai Yu had told him about that princess. He never expected that the princess would come again; it seemed she was relentless.
Wang Niu cautiously observed the black mist ahead and said to Bai Yu, "I think the person inside might be that princess you mentioned."
Just as Wang Niu finished speaking, a woman appeared before them.
When Bai Yu saw the woman, her expression changed instantly. Wang Niu guessed correctly; it was indeed her.
Bai Yu was momentarily stunned but quickly regained her composure and asked the woman in front of her, "What are you doing here?"
The woman burst into laughter upon hearing Bai Yu's words. "Is this your territory? Am I not allowed to come here?"
Bai Yu replied, "What good intentions could you possibly have by coming here?"
At that moment, the woman's gaze shifted to Wang Niu, and she flashed a strange smile at him. This made Wang Niu's heart skip a beat. Could it be that this woman was targeting him?
"What do you want?" Bai Yu immediately pulled Wang Niu behind him.
Seeing how protective Bai Yu was of Wang Niu, the woman suddenly had a thought and said to Bai Yu, "You don't actually like this kid, do you?"
Upon hearing this, Bai Yu's face turned red. "Y-You’re talking nonsense!"
The woman smiled at Bai Yu and then looked deeply at Wang Niu. "I hope you can live a little longer and not get harmed by Bai Yu."
After saying that, the woman turned and left.
Wang Niu stood there in shock, looking at Bai Yu with confusion. "What does that woman mean?"
Bai Yu irritably replied, "How would I know?"
With that, Bai Yu walked away.
This left Wang Niu momentarily stunned, and he quickly followed after Bai Yu.
Once they returned to their place, Bai Yu ignored him completely. This made Wang Niu feel awkward, so he said to Bai Yu, "Come on, you really misunderstood. Can you please not be angry?"
After a while, Bai Yu still showed no signs of movement, leaving Wang Niu feeling uncertain about what to do.
Eventually, Wang Niu had no choice but to return to his residence.
The next morning, it was the servants from Bai Yu's household who woke Wang Niu. Upon hearing the commotion, he immediately got up.
"Hurry and get dressed. The princess wants us to take you to the young master's chamber," one of the servants urged.
Upon hearing this, Wang Niu recalled what had happened the day before. He glanced behind the servants as if remembering something and asked them, "Where is your princess?"
Doll, with an irritated tone, replied, "How would I know? Stop wasting time and get dressed quickly."
Hearing their tone, Wang Niu sighed and said, "I understand."
Then, under the guidance of the servants, Wang Niu left Bai Yu's residence. However, a wave of confusion washed over him—was Bai Yu really not coming out?
Thinking about how angry Bai Yu had been last night made Wang Niu worry. Could it be that Bai Yu was still upset with him?
Taking a deep breath, he looked back again but saw nothing. Unable to contain himself, he inhaled sharply. Just then, he seemed to catch a glimpse of a familiar figure flash past him. He turned and saw Bai Yu's silhouette, which instantly filled him with joy. He rushed forward and embraced her tightly, taking a deep breath before saying, "You finally came!"
Seeing his delighted expression, Bai Yu asked, "What’s wrong with you?"
"Are you still angry?" Wang Niu asked cautiously.
Bai Yu paused for a moment before responding, "I'm not angry anymore. Now hurry up and don’t embarrass me!"
Wang Niu felt his spirits lift as he patted Bai Yu on the chest and said, "Don't worry, I won't embarrass you."
After saying that, Wang Niu walked into the magic palace.
Once Wang Niu disappeared, a strange expression appeared on Bai Yu's face.
"Why did you come here so late?" Wang Niu was taken aback when he entered the children's living area and saw the mess. "How did you turn this place into such a state?"
Just last night, it had been tidy and clean. How could it have become so chaotic in such a short time?
The child shot him a glare and replied, "That's not the point."
After that, the child suddenly grabbed his hand and led him to another location.
This place felt odd; there wasn't a soul in sight, and an unusual aura lingered in the air. Wang Niu sensed that this area resembled a vegetable garden.
"Where is this?" Wang Niu asked, puzzled.
The child proudly declared, "This is my secret place."
Wang Niu looked at the child with curiosity as they walked to a specific spot.
"Do you know how to plant these seeds to grow vegetables?"
Wang Niu stared at the object in the child's hand, momentarily stunned. "Is this what you want to plant?"
The child nodded and replied affirmatively, then handed the object to Wang Niu. This made Wang Niu's heart skip a beat; wasn't this vegetable seed from the human world?
"Where did you get this?" Wang Niu's tone became excited, causing the child to freeze, looking at Wang Niu as if he were a monster. "What's so strange about it? This is what our master gave me."
Wang Niu squinted his eyes, feeling a surge of excitement. Perhaps the "master" that Little Demon referred to was someone like him; after all, only humans would possess such things.
"Can you take me to meet your master?" Wang Niu asked eagerly.
Little Demon looked at Wang Niu's excited face, puzzled. He regarded Wang Niu as if he were some kind of creature. "Why are you so excited? You can meet the master, but first, you have to help me with my homework."
"Homework? What homework?" Wang Niu was taken aback as he asked Little Demon.
Little Demon replied, "Yeah, this homework is really annoying."
Wang Niu felt a mix of amusement and frustration, so he had no choice but to assist Little Demon.
After a while, Little Demon became curious. He turned to Wang Niu and asked, "What are you doing?"
Wang Niu was seen planting the seeds into the soil.
He watered them and added fertilizer.
These actions seemed normal in the human world, but in the monster world, they appeared quite strange.
Wang Niu glanced at Little Demon with a mysterious expression and said, "You'll find it strange soon enough."
This left Little Demon looking puzzled for a moment, but soon his expression changed to one of surprise as he saw the seeds on the ground transform into individual vegetables.
