"Two of you, the King wishes to see them," at that moment, a Little Demon appeared before me and Feng Ju.
"Alright," Feng Ju and I immediately went to meet the Seductress, but this encounter nearly frightened us both.
The Seductress looked extremely ugly at that moment, resembling a frail old woman with white hair.
"My King, what has happened to you?" I asked with a tone of concern.
The Seductress sighed and said to us, "I don't know what's wrong. The people around here seem to be unaffected. If I don't have the essence of a man, I will end up looking like this. I called you here to ask if you have any good ideas."
"I understand. You need the essence of a man, right?"
Upon hearing my words, the Seductress nodded.
"Actually, my King, you don't need the essence of a man to maintain your appearance," I said calmly to the Seductress.
The Seductress paused for a moment, seemingly in disbelief as she asked, "What did you say? Is there really such a thing?"
I nodded seriously and took out a vial.
"What is this?" the Seductress inquired.
"This is a Revitalizing Pill. Taking it will allow you to restore your original appearance," I explained.
The Seductress looked at us with suspicion in her eyes; she was beginning to doubt us.
"My King, what is happening?"
"Who exactly are you?"
At the question from the Seductress, neither Feng Ju nor I found it strange. After all, how could a typical Little Demon possess such things?
"My lord, there's no need to worry. We mean you no harm."
The Seductress looked at us with suspicion. Noticing the lingering doubt in her eyes, I continued, "My lord, you should understand that if we wanted to kill you, we would have done so already."
Upon hearing this, the Seductress seemed to find some logic in our words, though the caution in her gaze did not fully dissipate. "If you mean me no harm, then who are you? I must know your identities."
"We are malicious beings from hell, and by a twist of fate, we have entered the body of one of your trusted subordinates," I explained to the Seductress.
The caution in her eyes slowly began to fade as she continued, "Are you hiding from Yin Chai?"
"Yes, this way we can avoid Yin Chai. My lord, you must believe us; we truly mean you no harm because we still rely on you."
"What do you mean?"
I exchanged a glance with Feng Ju, who turned around and lifted her clothing.
"My lord, look."
The Seductress's gaze shifted to Feng Ju, where she noticed a strange pattern on Feng Ju's back.
"This is Rat Poison," the Seductress exclaimed, her eyes widening. Then, as if recalling something, she asked us, "How did this appear on you?"
I explained to the Seductress, "My lord, this happened when we were escaping from the Underworld. We accidentally encountered a Daoist, and this Daoist got Rat Poison on us. So, my lord, you should not worry about us. We have been poisoned with Rat Poison, which is incurable. We can only survive by relying on the essence of rodents. If something happens to you, the aura in this cave will vanish. Are we not killing ourselves?"
At that moment, the Seductress's eyes lost their caution.
"Alright, I understand. Thank you for your hard work. Give me that pill you have in your hand," the Seductress said, her gaze fixed on the bottle I was holding.
I finally realized and replied, "Okay, my lord."
I handed the bottle to the Seductress, who immediately consumed the elixir inside.
Soon after, Feng Ju and I noticed that the Seductress looked quite uncomfortable.
"Strange, why do I feel this way? It's so uncomfortable," the Seductress's face turned red instantly.
"My lord, don't worry; this is a normal reaction. Just wait a moment," I reassured her.
Upon hearing my words, the Seductress calmed down. Before long, her appearance returned to normal.
"My lord, look! Your face has returned to normal," I said excitedly. The Seductress seemed a bit incredulous, so I held up a mirror in front of her. Upon seeing her reflection, she was taken aback.
"I can't believe you weren't lying to me! My face is finally better!"
"Yes, my lord, your face is fine now. From now on, you won't need to absorb men's essence anymore."
The Seductress was delighted and led us to a place that seemed to be her residence's basement.
We continued downwards until we finally stopped in front of the stone gate.
"Where is this?" I asked the Seductress.
The Seductress turned to look at us and said, "Do you want something good?"
Feng Ju and I exchanged a glance, intrigued by the mention of something good.
"My lord, what are you talking about?"
The Seductress clapped her hands, and in an instant, the stone gate swung open.
A beam of light seeped out from the gate.
We instinctively closed our eyes, and after a moment, the light vanished.
"Go inside," the Seductress instructed us.
Feng Ju and I stepped in and saw several men locked in a cage; they looked like they had been tortured to the brink of death.
"What is this?"
"This is for you."
The Seductress's words left both Feng Ju and me stunned.
"This is for us?"
"Yes, the blood and flesh of these men will be of great help to you. If you absorb their essence, your cultivation will see significant growth."
"But we are Evil Spirits, my lord," one of them replied.
The Seductress paused for a moment, unsure of how to respond.
I continued speaking to the Seductress, "My lord, I understand this is your goodwill towards us, but it truly won't benefit us."
After hearing this, the Seductress had no choice but to relent.
Once we exited the stone gate, Feng Ju and I left.
"Do you think the Seductress believes us now? I'm a bit worried that she doesn't trust us," Feng Ju said.
I shook my head. "That's not the case; she already trusts us. However, she won't give us those men."
Just as we were about to leave the area, a Little Demon hurried over. "Not good! Something has happened!"
Without needing the Little Demon to elaborate, Feng Ju and I sensed that trouble was brewing.
"We know. We'll head over now. The Seductress is inside the stone gate; go inform her," I said before following Feng Ju out of the cave. As soon as we stepped outside, we saw that a group of demons had gathered at the entrance, their demeanor quite raucous.
"Hurry and call the Seductress out! We want her to pay for this!"
"Yes, bring the Seductress out!"
"We're going to kill you."
"You really underestimate yourselves," I said, standing high above with Feng Ju, looking down at them.
"You!"
The demons below were furious upon seeing us. They shouted at Feng Ju and me, "You better get down here!"
Meanwhile, the White Mouse Demon and Spirit Mouse Demon looked even angrier when they spotted us.
"I will definitely kill you!" the Spirit Mouse Demon declared.
With that, the Spirit Mouse Demon flew up, charging toward Feng Ju and me. A stream of black gas surged toward us.
Feng Ju and I remained still, watching as the gas vanished before reaching us.
The Spirit Mouse Demon was left stunned on the second floor.
"You... how is this possible?"
"How could it not be?" I replied with a smirk at the Spirit Mouse Demon.
After saying that, I dove down toward the Spirit Mouse Demon, grabbing its neck in an instant. The surrounding demons took several steps back, fear etched on their faces.
"You—cough cough," the Spirit Mouse Demon stammered, terror evident in its expression.
My smile deepened with cold amusement.
"Are you surprised? Let me tell you, today is your day to die. And all of you will perish as well; this world belongs to my master."
"Release him, you damned Little Demon!" the White Mouse Demon shouted at me.
I turned to look at the White Mouse Demon, and a ripple of energy appeared on my face, striking directly at the White Mouse Demon.
"Ah!" the White Mouse Demon fell to the ground.
Seeing this, the other Little Demons prepared to flee.
Feng Ju immediately surrounded these Little Demons.
"You, you all..." The White Mouse Demon seemed to sense something and attempted to break free from the confinement, but remained trapped inside.
At that moment, the Seductress walked in. After observing the scene, a smug expression spread across her face.
