"Hey, I heard that the Seductress has recently experienced a significant increase in her powers. Could it be that she called us over for something important?"
"I don't know. We'll just have to wait until the Seductress comes out. But why is she taking so long?"
"Isn't it obvious? She's trying to put on a show for us."
Just then, a familiar figure appeared—it was the Seductress.
Upon seeing her, the demons fell silent, all standing up and directing their gazes toward her.
"Thank you all for coming. I, the Seductress, feel truly honored. The reason I gathered you here today is that there is something I need your help with," the Seductress addressed the crowd.
As she got to the point, the demons' faces lit up with curiosity, and they began to ask her, "What is it?"
The Seductress looked at their eager expressions and smiled slightly. "Don't rush me; I'll tell you soon enough. For now, let's enjoy the feast."
After she finished speaking, several women emerged from both sides, each carrying a tray that held a still-beating Heart.
"Wow, so many Hearts! We're in for a treat!"
"But where did all these Hearts come from? It's quite strange."
"Who cares where they came from? Just eat!"
The crowd seemed excited and began to chatter among themselves.
While they spoke, the Seductress had already instructed her attendants to place the Hearts on their respective tables. Their eyes revealed a desperate hunger.
It seemed that the allure of these Hearts was overwhelming before them.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is a small token of my appreciation from me, the Seductress. I hope you all enjoy it," she said to everyone.
After finishing her words, someone eagerly began to eat the Heart in front of them.
Before long, those Hearts in front of the demons were completely devoured.
Seeing this scene, the Seductress called for more Hearts to be brought out.
This left me and Feng Ju puzzled. How could the Seductress have so many Hearts?
"Wang Jun, something feels off," Feng Ju said to me with a look of confusion.
I paused for a moment, feeling a bad premonition rise within me. I replied to Feng Ju, "Yes, I think these Hearts are meant to entice those men. It seems we need to eliminate the Seductress before it’s too late; otherwise, it could lead to serious trouble."
"You're right, Wang Jun."
After that, we continued to focus our attention on the demons. At that moment, the banquet was halfway through, and the Seductress began to get to the main topic.
"Everyone, how is the food?" the Seductress asked as she looked at the demons.
Naturally, the demons had eaten quite a bit. Upon hearing the Seductress speak, they all responded in unison, "Yes, it's very good."
The Seductress nodded and continued, "Do you all remember what I just said? The reason I gathered everyone here today is that I want to turn this world into a kingdom of demons."
As soon as the Seductress finished speaking, the demons began to murmur among themselves. Complex expressions appeared on their faces; after all, what the Seductress proposed was a serious matter.
Noticing that the demons were silent, the Seductress pressed on, "What do you all think?"
"Do you have a detailed plan?" one of the demons stood up and asked the Seductress.
The corners of the Seductress's mouth curled up as she replied to this demon, "Of course I do, but it requires everyone's cooperation."
"But if that's the case, it would violate the Heavenly Rules," the demon continued.
Upon hearing those words, the anger on Seductress's face became immediately apparent as she turned to the demon and said, "What do you mean by that?"
Seeing Seductress's expression change so suddenly, the demon replied, "Don't misunderstand me; I'm thinking of everyone's safety. You mustn't forget that the Heavenly Emperor is not in the heavens right now. I've heard that the Heavenly Emperor is inspecting everywhere. If he finds out about this, none of us here will have a good outcome."
As soon as the demon finished speaking, someone chimed in, "Yes, he's right. If the Heavenly Emperor finds out, our entire demon clan will be implicated."
"Exactly! We can't let such a small issue ruin our good lives," another added.
The demons exchanged words, and Seductress quickly lost her composure, her expression turning sour.
"Everyone, since I have already spoken to you, I wouldn't overlook such a detail. As long as you all agree..."
Upon hearing Seductress's words, the demons displayed expressions of conflict.
Suddenly, they fell silent.
"What do you mean by this?" Seductress asked angrily as she noticed their hesitation.
"Uh, we are just considering it. Earlier you mentioned that you already have a plan. Could you share it with us? That way, we can feel reassured," one of them suggested.
"Yes, at least we should know what your plan is," another echoed.
"Right," came a chorus of agreement.
Seeing their strong demand, Seductress began to explain her plan.
I furrowed my brows upon hearing this; it seemed that there were issues in my management of Heavenly Mountain. No wonder no one had come to report the situation below—apparently, these people had been bribed.
"Wang Jun, it seems you have a lot of lower immortals to deal with," Feng Ju remarked to me.
I nodded in response to Feng Ju, troubled by the revelation that Seductress's plan involved having these demons kill all the humans and then enter their bodies. This way, the heavens would not discover their scheme.
The demons pondered over the words of the Seductress, taking a moment to reflect. She remained silent, allowing them time to think. After a while, the Seductress turned her gaze toward them.
"What have you all decided?"
Upon hearing her question, the demons lifted their heads to look at her.
"Well, since you have already made your plans and we are inclined to agree, we accept. However, we have one more question."
A glint of malice flashed in the Seductress's eyes as she addressed one of the demons. "What is your question? Speak freely."
The demon hesitated for a moment, sensing something ominous, before replying, "This isn't just my idea; it's everyone's."
After speaking, the demon looked at the others. Receiving the signal, they nodded in agreement and said to the Seductress, "Yes, this is something that concerns us as well. After we assist you, how will the benefits be divided?"
The Seductress's expression darkened; she hadn't anticipated that they would dare to negotiate terms with her.
"What is it?" Seeing her silence, the demons pressed on.
The Seductress's face grew increasingly grim.
"Fine. However, as for how to divide it, let's discuss that later. For now, let's stick to the plan," she told them.
The demons exchanged uneasy glances but remained silent since the Seductress had agreed.
Soon after, the banquet came to an end, and the demons began to disperse.
Feng Ju looked at me with a puzzled expression. "Wang Jun, aren't we going to take action?"
I glanced at the Seductress before shifting my gaze back to Feng Ju. "Not yet. I have a good plan that will make them turn against each other."
Feng Ju looked at me in surprise. "Really? What is this plan?"
I glanced at Seductress, who looked extremely fatigued as she sat on the stone chair.
"I'll tell you later. Right now, I need to put my plan into action," I said, walking toward Seductress.
Feng Ju seemed to want to say something but was halted by my actions.
"My King," I reached Seductress and spoke respectfully.
Upon hearing my words, Seductress slightly opened her eyes and acknowledged me. I continued, "My King, would you like me to eliminate them?"
Seductress appeared quite surprised by my suggestion. "What are you saying?"
"I know that you are very displeased with those demons, and they have been too audacious to treat you this way."
A glimmer of murderous intent flashed in Seductress's eyes as if my words had struck a chord.
"Yes, they have gone too far. However, we cannot kill them just yet; we still need the power they hold," Seductress replied calmly, looking at me.
I turned Eyeball around, thinking of a solution, and then spoke in a flattering tone, "My King, I have an idea. I wonder if you would be willing to consider it."
