"Step back a bit, and I'll try to open it," I said to the Flower Spirit.
The Flower Spirit took a step back, and I moved forward, channeling all my Divine Power into the wall before us. The ground trembled, and soon, the door in front of us began to slowly open.
The expression on the Flower Spirit's face grew increasingly astonished as we saw someone inside.
"Heavenly Emperor, it's those Flower Fairies!" the Flower Spirit exclaimed excitedly.
"Yes, let's hurry inside."
The Flower Spirit and I entered, finding that these Flower Fairies had been trapped by Serene.
"Flower Fairies, wake up!" the Flower Spirit anxiously called out to the Little Fox Demons, but they remained unconscious, leaving the Flower Spirit very worried.
"It seems they've fallen victim to some Evil Arts," I said as I looked at the Flower Fairies.
"It can't be! They're demons too!" the Flower Spirit replied in disbelief.
I nodded and waved my hand, removing the cages around them. Then I placed my hand on the nearest Flower Fairy. "Take a closer look."
Before long, a mass of black energy appeared in my hand.
Seeing this, the Flower Spirit's expression turned even more shocked. "My goodness, what is happening?"
I withdrew my hand and dispelled the black energy. "This is what I was telling you about; they've been affected by Evil Arts. It's a type of Snake Reversal Technique that can alter their true forms. If we don't remove the Evil Arts from them in time, the consequences could be dire."
The Flower Spirit gasped in fear. Just as she was about to try to remove the Evil Arts from the Flower Fairies, I stopped her.
"Heavenly Emperor, what's wrong?"
I didn't respond to the Flower Spirit and walked over to another Flower Fairy, slowly clearing the Evil Arts from her. At that moment, the Flower Spirit looked at me in astonishment and then stopped me.
"Heavenly Emperor, what are you doing?" the Flower Spirit exclaimed, her eyes wide.
"It's nothing. Just step aside; otherwise, this Little Fox Demon will be in danger," I said seriously to the Flower Spirit.
The Flower Spirit hesitated for a moment but then did not stop me. I continued transferring all the Evil Arts from this Flower Fairy onto myself.
"Heavenly Emperor, if you do this, the Queen will worry," the Flower Spirit said, looking at me with embarrassment.
I shook my head. At that moment, I felt a discomfort in my body. Suddenly, a tremendous force surged up to my throat, causing my body to tremble as I spat out a mouthful of Black Blood.
"Heavenly Emperor, are you okay?" The Flower Spirit became unsettled upon witnessing this scene.
"I'm fine, don't worry."
I quickly adjusted my internal energy, and after a while, it gradually returned to normal.
"Quickly transfer these Flower Fairies," I reminded the Flower Spirit. She nodded eagerly and began gathering them up.
Once we finished, I followed the Flower Spirit as we left the area. Just then, a noise came from outside the cave entrance. I used a Spell to conceal both myself and the Flower Spirit.
"Heavenly Emperor, what's wrong?" the Flower Spirit asked me.
I made a shushing gesture to her as the footsteps outside grew closer.
We both looked toward the cave entrance and saw a massive Python appear before us, its body covered in spots.
"Heavenly Emperor, is that Serene?" The Flower Spirit's voice turned tense.
I shook my head at the Flower Spirit, unsure of what to say. Just then, the enormous Python suddenly transformed into a humanoid figure.
When we saw this person, we were astonished. Wasn't this the Flower Mother?
I exchanged glances with the Flower Spirit. Could there be something more to the Flower Mother here?
The Flower Mother stepped inside and, upon seeing the empty space, froze in shock. Her expression changed dramatically, and then she vanished.
"Heavenly Emperor, it seems this matter is a bit complicated," the Flower Spirit said to me.
I nodded; indeed, it appeared to be quite complex. We lingered at the entrance for a while before leaving.
I brought the Flower Spirit back to the Heavenly Realm. Although I had dispelled all the Evil Arts from these flower Demons, they still looked very weak and needed a significant amount of celestial energy to restore their bodies.
"Heavenly Emperor, will they be alright?" The Flower Spirit began to worry when she noticed that the Flower Fairies showed no reaction after absorbing the celestial energy.
"They'll be fine; perhaps their bodies just need more time to respond. Let's wait a bit longer," I reassured the Flower Spirit.
Reluctantly, the Flower Spirit followed my advice and waited. After a while, suddenly, colorful light radiated from the bodies of the Flower Fairies. The Flower Spirit's eyes lit up as she exclaimed, "Heavenly Emperor, look! These Flower Fairies have returned to normal."
As soon as she finished speaking, I saw petals emerging from the bodies of the Flower Fairies, and I felt relieved.
"Flower God!" At that moment, one of the Flower Spirits awakened and joyfully called out to the Flower Spirit.
"Yes, I'm here. How are you? Are you alright?" The Flower Spirit hurried over to help the Flower Fairy up.
"I'm fine," the Flower Fairy replied to the Flower God.
Seeing this, the Flower God let out a sigh of relief and turned to me. "Heavenly Emperor, may I request something from you?"
"Yes, go ahead," I replied.
"These Flower Fairies are just right; they don't have the ability to fend off enemies yet. Can I let them stay in the sky for a while?" the Flower Spirit said to me, her tone filled with deep pleading.
I nodded at the Flower Spirit and said, "Sure, I'll arrange for someone to come take care of them later. Let's head back to the Red Lotus Pavilion first; it wouldn't be good if the Flower Mother grew suspicious of us."
The Flower Spirit nodded, and we returned to our room. Just then, there was a knock at the door.
I glanced at the Flower Spirit, who went to open the door. There stood the Flower Mother, accompanied by several attendants.
"Young masters, how have you been enjoying your stay here?" the Flower Mother entered, gesturing for those behind her to set down their items.
To my surprise, it was food.
"Is the Flower Mother worried about us?" I teased her.
The Flower Mother chuckled and replied, "Isn't that so? Besides, you are our Big Boss here; how could I not take good care of you?"
As she spoke, she deliberately glanced around as if selecting something.
I took note of this action from the Flower Mother and laughed, "Haha, the Flower Mother is truly a good person."
Seeing my comment, the Flower Mother's smile widened. "I wonder if there are any places you would like to visit?"
"What’s on your mind?" I asked her curiously.
The Flower Mother shook her head and said, "I just thought that staying in the room all the time might be a bit dull. If there’s somewhere you’d like to go, I can have someone take you there."
Her words caught me off guard. I secretly glanced at the Flower Spirit beside me and then turned back to the Flower Mother. "Not really; but if you have any good places to recommend..."
"Flower Mother," upon hearing this, turned to me and said, "You’ve come to the right person. I do know about that, but I can’t take you myself. After all, I need to oversee things here at the Red Lotus Pavilion. However, I can have one of our stewards take you, if that’s acceptable to you."
I nodded and replied, "That works for me. I was just thinking of going out to explore today."
Hearing this, Flower Mother was overjoyed and called over someone who looked quite peculiar.
"Young master, this is our White Butler," Flower Mother introduced him. After the introduction, she turned to the White Butler and said, "This is a distinguished guest at our Red Lotus Pavilion. You must treat him well."
Upon hearing Flower Mother's words, the White Butler nodded repeatedly and said, "Flower Mother, don’t worry. I will take good care of these two young masters."
Flower Mother nodded in satisfaction and said, "That’s great! Young master, if you wish to go anywhere later, feel free to ask this White Butler."
With that, Flower Mother left the room, and the White Butler turned to me and asked, "Young master, where would you like to go for some fun?"
His voice had an odd quality that made me feel uneasy.
"Anywhere is fine. By the way, is there a tavern around here? I’d like to drink Realgar Wine," I said lightly to the White Butler.
"Realgar Wine?" The White Butler's face turned pale at my words.
