After hearing Ruoxi's words, Uncle Tiger seemed struck by something heavy and became despondent. Although just an hour ago he had been cold towards me, seeing him like this made my heart ache. I would rather give up my position than witness Uncle Tiger in such despair.

Finally, Ruoxi untied the restraints on Uncle Tiger.

Ruoxi nodded and immediately unleashed a Celestial Light to block them. However, her blue light seemed ineffective; the light they created broke through Ruoxi's barrier and entered the Dark Abyss.
In an instant, the Dark Abyss emitted a blinding light.
I instinctively shielded Ruoxi, and at that moment, I heard Uncle Tiger's voice beside me. "Wang Niu, this is the last thing Uncle Tiger can do for you. It was my fault; I hope you can forgive me. Uncle Tiger wishes you and Ruoxi all the best."
Suddenly, my heart trembled, a bittersweet feeling washing over me.
Tears began to well up in my eyes as another voice reached my ears.
"You were a great brother. It's a pity we won't have the chance to continue being brothers. However, the days spent with you are truly wonderful memories. I hope you and Ruoxi cherish each other."
After he spoke, the Dark Abyss exploded. A massive cloud appeared in the sky, and before long, I saw it vanish completely; the darkness also dissipated.

Seeing that the Dark Abyss was gone made it clear to me that I truly did not want Uncle Tiger and the others to say goodbye in this way.

A warmth spread through my heart as I looked around, noticing that Feng Ju was nowhere to be seen.

I was taken aback and exclaimed, "Isn't that a bit too soon?"

I awkwardly chuckled and followed Ruoxi to Xiaomei's residence. As soon as we arrived, we heard Xiaomei's painful cries, which sounded incredibly alarming.
Feng Ju was pacing anxiously outside the door, her face filled with worry.
Ruoxi and I hurried over to her and asked how things were going.
