My words left Ruoxi completely stunned. She seemed to be struggling to recall something. I stepped forward, affectionately ruffling her hair and said, "Don't think about it; it's not time yet. Even if you do, you won't remember. Let me take you somewhere."
Ruoxi looked at me in surprise and nodded. At that moment, Taishang Laojun appeared, his gaze fixed on Ruoxi.
"Wait a minute, Heavenly Emperor, this doesn't seem right," Taishang Laojun said, looking troubled.
"What's wrong with it? Besides, I'm the Heavenly Emperor. Do you really think you can unite against me?" I replied, my displeasure evident.
Seeing my expression, Taishang Laojun chose not to argue further and stepped aside.
I released Ruoxi from the immobilization spell and took her to the heavens.
"Wow, who are you? You can actually fly!" Ruoxi looked at me with admiration.
I smiled without saying a word, but my gaze softened towards her. Ruoxi looked around in delight and exclaimed, "Is this really the place where immortals reside? It’s so beautiful!"
Seeing her joy stirred something in my heart. I said, "Then from now on, will you stay with me?"
Ruoxi's face instantly turned red as she nodded and whispered a soft "Okay."
"I can take you to see anything you want," I said, feeling my mood lift at her response.
Ruoxi scratched her head and said, "I want to see the stars. Can you take me there?"
I nodded and lifted her into my arms. My sleeve gently brushed against her face. In just a few seconds, I transformed our surroundings into a scene filled with stars and moonlight.
When I lowered my sleeve, Ruoxi gasped at the sight around us. "Wow! How did you do this? It's so beautiful! Can you teach me? That way, whenever I want to see it, I can."
Ruoxi looked at me with eager anticipation. Her expression was simply irresistible. I nodded and said, "Alright, if you want to learn, I'll teach you."
I took Ruoxi's hand and said, "Look, I have given you my magic. Now, you have magic."
After saying that, I tapped her hand, and instantly, a beautiful pattern appeared on Ruoxi's palm.
"Wow, this pattern is really beautiful," Ruoxi exclaimed happily.
I nodded and encouraged her to give it a try.
"Can I really create the same stars as you did?" Ruoxi asked.
"Yes, you can."
Unable to contain her excitement, Ruoxi waved her hand, and a bright light flashed before her. Then, countless stars appeared in front of her, forming a vast sea of stars.
"Wow, I can really create them! This is so amazing!" Ruoxi joyfully jumped up.
Watching Ruoxi's carefree demeanor filled my heart with a sense of happiness.
I spent a long time with Ruoxi, and when the time was right, I sent her back to the human realm. After all, she couldn't stay in the heavens for too long.
"Will we meet again?" Ruoxi asked with a hint of reluctance.
I nodded and said, "Yes, if you miss me, just think of me a few times in your heart, and I will appear before you."
Ruoxi nodded and left reluctantly.
As soon as I returned to the Heavenly Court, Azure Grain appeared before me.
I responded lightly, and Azure Grain looked momentarily stunned, appearing somewhat hurt.
"Do you have something to tell me?" I asked.
Azure Grain nodded and said, "Do you know about something, Heavenly Emperor?"
I shook my head, unclear about what Azure Grain meant.
"Do you know that there is a place called Dark Abyss in the heavenly realm?" Azure Grain continued.
"What is Dark Abyss?" I found it intriguing; I never expected such a place existed in the heavens.
Azure Grain nodded and continued, "Dark Abyss is where each Heavenly Emperor releases their Evil Energy, which is then consumed by Dark Abyss. However, over time, this Dark Abyss has become overloaded. If it were to explode, the consequences would be unimaginable. That's why I came to inform you, Heavenly Emperor."
I furrowed my brow. Such a significant matter had not been communicated to me by any celestial beings. It seemed they were all playing tricks on me.
"Where is Dark Abyss?" My tone turned cold.
Ruoxi shivered slightly upon hearing my change in tone and said, "Heavenly Emperor, please don't be angry. I'll take you there right away."
I nodded and followed Ruoxi to Dark Abyss.
The atmosphere around us suddenly became chilling. I looked around; it seemed to be filled with a kind of Evil Energy, just as Azure Grain had described. This Dark Abyss had already absorbed too much, causing some Evil Energy to leak out. Not only that, but there were also many cracks appearing around Dark Abyss. If it wasn't properly repaired, the entire celestial realm would likely suffer the consequences.
"Are you alright?" At that moment, I noticed that Azure Grain's complexion seemed to be worsening.
Azure Grain shook her head, but her face grew increasingly pale. I understood what was happening and said to her, "Give me your hand."
Azure Grain paused for a moment, extending a hand toward me. I transferred my energy to Azure Grain, knowing that her celestial power was not strong enough to withstand the Evil Energy.
Before long, the expression on Azure Grain's face improved significantly, and I let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank you, Heavenly Emperor," Azure Grain said, her cheeks flushing.
I opened my mouth, intending to say something to Azure Grain, but stopped myself. Instead, I shifted my gaze back to the Dark Abyss, where a large talisman was suppressing the entrance.
It was this talisman that prevented the Evil Energy inside from seeping out.
However, just having this talisman wasn't enough. I summoned my Divine Power to seal the cracks around the area. Although the seams appeared simple, stitching them together was quite challenging and required immense Divine Power. By the time I finished mending all the gaps, I felt utterly exhausted.
"Heavenly Emperor, are you alright?" Azure Grain immediately supported me from the side.
I shook my head and assured her that I was fine. The cracks had been repaired, but we couldn't let our guard down; the Evil Energy within the Dark Abyss still lingered.
"Let's leave for now; it’s still safe here," I suggested.
Azure Grain glanced at the Dark Abyss and, seeing no reason to insist further, nodded in agreement. I then led her to the Celestial Realm.
"Heavenly Emperor, what are we doing here?" Azure Grain asked, looking at me with confusion.
"We're here to find a solution. No celestial being has informed me about this matter; you must know how to handle it," I replied.
Upon hearing my words, Azure Grain seemed momentarily at a loss for how to respond.
"If you don't want to stay together, you can leave," I said, observing her troubled expression.
"Azure Grain immediately shook his head and said, 'No, Heavenly Emperor, I can stay by your side with you.'
Seeing that Azure Grain remained, I said nothing further. I then instructed the Celestial Soldiers to convey my will, and before long, the Celestial Beings gathered in the great hall.
'Celestial Assembly, do you think I am unworthy of being your Heavenly Emperor?' I said calmly as I looked at them.
'Oh, Heavenly Emperor, how could you say such a thing?'
'Indeed, the Heavenly Emperor is undoubtedly deserving of the title.'
'No one else can be the Heavenly Emperor but you.'
As soon as I spoke these words, the celestial beings below immediately began to voice their agreement.
I took in their expressions, coldly observing them. Perhaps my aura was too strong, leaving them all stunned.
'Heavenly Emperor, please spare us,' they suddenly knelt down.
I remained silent. After a while, seeing that I did not respond, they dared not speak. The atmosphere in the hall grew extremely oppressive.
Azure Grain glanced at me with an expression that seemed to hold back words.
'Why has no one informed me about the Dark Abyss?' I said in a low voice. Last time, due to the matter concerning the Celestial Sage, I had issued them a warning. To my surprise, they had not taken my warning to heart. How could this not infuriate me?
'Ah...' The Celestial Assembly erupted into a flurry of whispers again. They exchanged glances, their eyes flashing with unusual light.
'What? No one has anything to say? I said it before—if anyone has objections, speak up! Do not deliberately conceal anything. If there is another issue, I would not mind a complete overhaul of the heavenly court,' I said coldly."
"Ah, Heavenly Emperor, please think twice."
"Yes, Heavenly Emperor, think twice."
The celestial beings were so frightened that they knelt before me.
"Since you don't want a major upheaval, tell me how to handle the Dark Abyss situation," I said.
As soon as I spoke those words, they fell silent, seemingly reluctant to get involved in the matter.
I stood up, looking down at them and said, "Since you choose to remain silent, very well, I will take action."
With that, I raised my hand, and a sphere of white light appeared. I directed the white light at a celestial being who seemed to harbor ill intentions.
Suddenly, a massive fire erupted from him, and in no time at all, he vanished.

The celestial beings below broke out in cold sweat.
At that moment, one of the celestial beings stepped forward. "Heavenly Emperor, I have a solution. Regarding the Dark Abyss matter, I can handle it. Please allow me to take care of this issue."
As he spoke, many other celestial beings echoed his sentiment. I looked at them with a cold smile, my gaze warning them. "Very well, this matter will be entrusted to the Celestial Assembly. However, if similar issues arise again, do not blame me; you understand?"
"Yes, please rest assured, Heavenly Emperor."
I scrutinized these celestial beings and noticed a hint of compliance in their eyes.
After the meeting adjourned, I dismissed all the celestial beings.
After those people left, Azure Grain looked at me anxiously and said, "Heavenly Emperor, what you just did was really dangerous."
Seeing Azure Grain's expression, I understood that she was worried about me. So when she said that, I didn't blame her in my heart.
"It's fine; this can actually serve as a deterrent for them. You don't need to worry."
Azure Grain nodded and didn't say anything more, so I let her leave.
Once Azure Grain was gone, Taishang Laojun appeared before me.
"Heavenly Emperor, it's not good," Taishang Laojun said urgently.
My heart sank. Could it be that Ruoxi was in trouble?
"What happened?" I asked Taishang Laojun.
"It's Miss Ruoxi; something has happened to her."
I felt a sudden drop in my heart. "What do you mean something happened to Ruoxi? Didn't I ask you to take good care of her?" I stood up and walked directly in front of Taishang Laojun.
"I... I don't know what happened. After you sent Miss Ruoxi back, I stayed by her side. But somehow, an unusual dark energy surrounded her tightly. I sensed that something was wrong and reacted immediately, but it seems I was still a bit late," Taishang Laojun said anxiously.
