A faint look of injury crossed Luanling's face, causing my heart to skip a beat. I felt as if I had done something wrong and quickly corrected myself, saying, "No, I really like it; it's just a bit heavy to wear."

Luan Yuan turned to Luanling and said, "My silly daughter, don’t you understand? I'm finding you a Consort."
Luanling's face immediately turned red as she looked at Luan Yuan and said, "Father, this isn't right. Brother Wang Niu hasn't agreed yet; we can't force him."
Upon hearing Luanling's words, Luan Yuan turned to look at me. There seemed to be a fleeting emotion in his eyes, but it passed too quickly for me to catch.
"Little brother, what do you think?" The atmosphere fell into silence for a moment. Perhaps feeling a bit awkward, Luan Yuan spoke first.
At that moment, I realized all eyes were on me, and an overwhelming sense of pressure washed over me. I took a deep breath and nodded stiffly; after all, this was the Bird Tribe.
Seeing my agreement, Luan Yuan's expression immediately relaxed. He happily took my hand and placed it in Luanling's, saying, "From now on, I entrust Luanling to your care."
A complex feeling flashed through my heart, while Luanqing and Luan Bai, who stood nearby, looked extremely surprised. They stepped forward and said to Luan Yuan, "Father, I think this is too hasty. We set off and boarded the Bird Tribe's flying vehicle.
I marveled at how strange the Bird Tribe's flying vehicle was; it resembled a flying saucer.
"Brother Wang Niu, what's wrong?" Luanling asked me with concern.
I shook my head and jumped onto the flying vehicle of the Bird Tribe, with Luanling following closely behind. Luan Yuan and the others boarded another one.
Thus, the group from the Bird Tribe flew towards the ancient town.
The ancient town was where the Spirit Martial Conference was held, as Luanling had informed me on the way. I glanced back at the Bird Tribe's team; although they couldn't compare to the Beast Clan, their presence was still quite impressive.
"Brother Wang Niu, do you think we will always be happy?" Luanling suddenly asked me.
I hesitated, feeling a reluctance to meet her gaze. I didn't answer Luanling because the outcome was obvious—I wasn't from this world, and I had already made a pact with the Beast Clan.
Seeing that I remained silent, a look of sadness appeared on Luanling's small face. I sighed inwardly, hoping that I wouldn't hurt her during this journey.
The ancient town was still quite far away; it was already afternoon and we hadn't arrived yet. Flying in the air for so long made me feel quite tired. I yawned and turned to look at the surrounding illusions when I noticed that Luanling had been staring at me.
I blinked and asked, "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"
Luanling immediately shook her head and said, "Brother Wang Niu, I think you are the most handsome person in this world, so I just wanted to look at you a little longer."
I felt a warmth spread through me as Luanling's innocent and pure demeanor captured my attention once again. For a moment, I saw A Yao; when I was with A Yao before, she had looked just like this.

Luanling noticed the serious expression on my face and decided not to ask further. At that moment, I heard a loud roar filled with warning, sounding almost animalistic. I turned towards the source of the sound, and my heart sank; it was the Beast Tribe.
The members of the Bird Tribe also spotted the Beast Tribe, and immediately, both sides stood ready to confront each other, yet neither made a move.
I caught sight of Dumeng Princess and exchanged a glance with her, then returned to my impassive demeanor.
"You Bird Tribe really are pathetic. Your flying speed is so slow, like snails, not even comparable to us Beast Tribe," a mocking voice suddenly called out.
"Are you trying to start a war?" one of the Bird Tribe members retorted, unable to tolerate the provocation from the Beast Tribe.
"We Beast Tribe have no interest in your Bird Tribe's challenges. Don't forget, the Spirit Martial Conference is just around the corner. Do you really want to break the rules?" After saying this, a member of the Beast Tribe shot a provocative glance at the Bird Tribe.
The members of the Bird Tribe were ready to retaliate, but they were interrupted by Luan Yuan's sharp reprimand.
"Is this how the Beast King manages his tribe?" Luan Yuan said in a calm tone.
Although Luan Yuan's tone was flat, I could sense a strong tension brewing between the two tribes.
"You don't need to worry about how we manage ourselves. You should be thinking about how to win the Spirit Martial Conference. As far as I know, your Bird Tribe lacks strength; you haven't secured a single Spirit Pearl in all these years," the Beast King quickly countered Luan Yuan.
As a result, Luan Yuan's face flushed red with anger from the Beast King's words, but she still refrained from retaliating against him.
The Beast King chose not to continue arguing with Luan Yuan; in fact, he had already gained the upper hand over the Bird Tribe with his previous statement, basking in his victory.
Suddenly, the Dumeng Princess flew towards me and grabbed me back to their beast tribe.
Although the beast tribe had their own flying vehicles, they were still not as stable as those of the Bird Tribe.
"What are you wearing?" the Dumeng Princess glared at me, her face showing dissatisfaction.
I glanced at the Bird Tribe and noticed that all their attention was focused on me. I whispered, "What are you doing pulling me over? Didn't we agree to work together from the inside out? This is too obvious."
The Dumeng Princess frowned and said, "Do you know what the clothes you're wearing represent?"
I shook my head, indicating that I didn't know.
She glanced in the direction of the Bird Tribe and said, "These are only meant for a Consort to wear. Although the people of the Bird Tribe haven't revealed your identity to others, they still made you wear these clothes. Do you know what the Bird Tribe is doing?"
Seeing the serious expression on the Dumeng Princess's face made my heart skip a beat. Could it be that the Bird Tribe was using me?
